Called the usual suspects around town, ALL of whom said they didn't have the correct size in a used tire and tried to sell me a new tire for $70 and up. Nope. Googled 'used tires Newark, Ohio' and this business came up. I'd never heard of them but called. They had several used tires in that size, told me it would be $25-35 depending on the quality of the tire, and I didn't need an appointment. They also gave me directions to their location behind Wilson Garden Center. I showed up an hour and a half later. They were well-staffed with friendly people and had me out the door in ten minutes for $25, which included installation and a check of the other three tires. Locally owned, too. I'll go back.

First off I literally never write reviews for anything. That being said…read more... These guys are A1! The entire passenger side of my CR-V was wrecked due to a hit and run. I took my car to Rader because they're an authorized Honda repair shop. They quoted me a much lower price than the previous shop that I got an estimate from. When I went to pick my car up they informed me that because they had to replace instead of repair my door the price was significantly higher. They didn't make me pay the difference and they even repainted a ding on the opposite door of the car free of charge. Combine that with the fact that my ride looks as good as the day that I drove it off the showroom floor. I'm a happy camper. Hopefully I won't need another repair but if I do I'm not even looking anywhere else!

On a separate visit, I looked more closely at the vehicles and noticed visible marring and light scratches on the paint, along with interiors that didn't appear properly cleaned or detailed. For a dealership, I would expect the vehicles to be presented in much better condition. And for them to be clean and cared for. There was also a lack of customer service, as no one acknowledged or assisted while I was inside. I've also heard similar feedback from others, which made the experience even more concerning. When the battery light comes on, it means your vehicle is being powered by the battery only, instead of the alternator. Owner Tu told me to remove the negative battery cable while the car was running. The car died. Easy over the phone diagnosis. I swapped out for a new battery and drove over. Tu got a new alternator delivered and installed the next day. The price was far below my other estimates. I immediately asked him to do rear shocks also, to throw him some extra business. Parts delivered and installed same day. He made this entire process happen in days before thanksgiving. Other shops couldn't see me until December. I've already spoken to Tu about some other minor work I would like to have done. Once again he removes the steering wheel to make a quick diagnosis on the cruise control. I plan to get more done after the holidays. I highly recommend this mechanic for his service, professionalism, and overall great personality.
