Very dishonest, do not trust them, they charge you for what they even though they are unable to do the work

I would highly recommend the Midas on Hebron rd in Heath. I have had services done 6 times this year and every time has been a great, friendly experience. Kyle and Shane are always honest and transparent. I thought I had bad wheel bearings and they took the time for me to ride along with Shane to point out what I was noticing. Turns out I was wrong and I really appreciate the time they took out of their busy day to make sure. They won't tell you something needs fixed if it doesn't. Their honesty and transparency is appreciated and has won my trust and is the only place I will be taking my car to if I need anything serviced. read more

Manager Joe said the price would be $189 to do brake pads, one caliper sticking. So they wanted to do all new hoses, pads, and the caliper, ended up being $1197. What a waste of time, would not recommend anyone... read more

Saturday 10/26/19, after seeing a screw in my brand new tire and after being turned away from an auto repair shop down the road, I went to Midas in HEATH, Ohio - panicked. I was met with friendly "hellos" and asked how they could HELP me. After explaining my tire situation, they pulled my car into the bay, looked at my tire and told me HONESTLY the screw had fallen out of the tire, my tire was not damaged and there would be NO CHARGE! Joe, Matt, Scott and the technician TOTALLY took care of me! But more importantly, they eased my stress. They serve the customers FROM THEIR HEART. I will no longer stop at the place I was turned down at and will forever, go to Midas. I highly recommend you do the same! read more

Heat shield on muffler was loose after hitting something in the road. They got me in quick, gave me a few options depending on my situation and had me on my way in about 10 minutes. We've been giving this place our business for TEN YEARS, but after today NEVER AGAIN!! It took 3 men over an hour to change the oil in the car. They took the tires off (didn't ask) pulled out the air filter, tossing it on the ground, then disappeared for 30 minutes. THEN said we needed tires balanced, when the tires are new, under a few thousand miles. the whole ordeal took OVER AN HOUR FROM START TO FINISH, WITH NO OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE SHOP THE WHOLE TIME. We really feel like Midas let us down, and were trying to get over on us. We won't be returning with ANY of our 4 vehicles. It's shame to feel you can't trust Midas for a quick and simple oil change. read more

It brings me great joy to know, that even in the midst of challenges and a pandemic that kindness and compassion still exists. From the time I walked in the door with my two little boys and had to return a second day for additional services, the staff was attentive. Little did I know, that during my visit my son would get something stuck in his eye while waiting. The chain of events really showed me what it means to go into a business and experience good customer service, versus world class service. While some staff continued to repair my vehicle, additional staff rushed to my whaling child to offer assistance. From first aid kits, to volunteering to call the EMS, the staff never missed a beat. I was truly grateful. I left Midas with happier child and brakes that worked flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this location to others. DO NOT GO TO THIS MIDAS-EVER! My daughter had a mistake in taking her perfectly maintained car in this Midas for an oil change (her reason is they are having a special !)and the next day her car starts leaking oil. She took it back and Midas told her that she has a faulty gasket even after my daughter insist that her car never leak before. My husband have to threaten them that he will call the Regional Manager if they do not fix their mistake. THEY TRY TO HOSE MY DAUGHTER FOR A REPAIR THAT MIDAS ITSELF CREATED! DO NOT GO HERE! FORGET ABOUT SPECIAL! It is better to pay a bit more to get the result you wanted and get things done the right way. read more

This place has switched management a few times. This time is promising management. I stopped going here for even oil changes (went to Columbus for them). I took my car in because I was having electrical problems. They coded it but went above and beyond to find the cause without costing me a lot of money. Had some brake work done early February. The whole work up. Back in today for some exhaust work as well as some noise. They also discovered my drums, recently replaced, were warped. They were able to repair this also under warranty. Daniel the store manager was so kind and truly rocked customer service. Being a banker and working with all sorts of customers daily, I was impressed with his kindness and patience with me. The tech guy today also worked on car in the last and his 7 years plus experience puts any other mechanic to shame ive had. Will be back and recommend to everyone. Went in one day for an oil change and walked out with new trustworthy mechanics. These guys know what they are talking about and really care about the drivers safety. On April 9, our van needed a wheel balanced, but our excellent mechanic could not get the lug nuts off the offending wheel. Over several days at his shop, he had tried everything and finally ordered a new tool which Amazon MIGHT deliver some time in May! Because Midas had rotated the tires more than a year previously and no one else had touched the front end we called them. Matt (assistant manager) kindly agreed to see what they could do. We took it the next day, and discovered that it was not a matter of being over tightened, but the aluminum cap on the steel lug nut had somehow created a "frozen" condition, which they are seeing increasingly given cheaper materials now in use (thank you, China imports!) Ultimately they had to use a blow torch to remove the recessed nuts, warning us that it would not look pretty (they were right about that!), but it was the only option left. They got the nuts off, balanced the tire, replaced the broken stems & lug nuts, and only charged us for the new parts and the labor to repair it, not all their time to get the nuts off. Through the ordeal, they were considerate, helpful and honest. Thanks, Matt, for initially agreeing to try to help us and politely fielding several phone calls. Thanks, Joe (the manager), for overseeing the work on Matt's day off. They have always done a good job on our oil changes, but now we know they offer many other services! read more

My boyfriend and I took his 2012 Chevy truck in for an oil change. After the oil change they started the truck then turned it off again. When they went to start it again it wouldn't start. It was in perfect condition with only 30k miles. The engine was completely seized up. They seized up his engine by starting it with no oil in it and ruined his almost brand new truck. We were just trying to get a simple oil change and it turned into the biggest nightmare. They refused to take any responsibility for it and we are currently in the process of suing them. My recommendation is for no one to ever ever go here. I Understand ppl make mistakes but for them to leave us in such a bad situation and take no responsibility for this is pretty bad. read more
