The latest incident they done repairs last July worked fine for 8 months then returned for repairs ( had oil in coolant) had vehicle for a week said they cleaned a tank and replaced a hose at no charge. Said everything was good so picked it up and parked it then went to drive it a week later and coolant draining on ground. Now they say head is leaking and want more $$. I called last Friday after having talked to different businesses about getting my tire rim repaired or replaced. None of them gave me any real satisfactory information so the search continued until I got to Dave's. I believe it was Kevin that I spoke with (I'm sorry, the name escapes me). He was very informative and quite pleasant on the phone, giving me quotes and guarantee information on their service and products. Saturday, I drove up to get the rim repaired, only to find that they were/are "closed on Saturdays until further notice". I went back on Monday and met with him to review my rim's condition. He took a look and gave me a very clear explanation and what I should expect. He even suggested that I could expedite matters by taking it directly to their service center for repair. I told him that I was comfortable leaving it with him and could wait a few days. I left the tire with him feeling good about things. It was early Tuesday when he called to let me know that the repair was complete (much sooner than I expected). I drove back and picked it up, extremely pleased with their timeliness. My added bonus came when he reviewed the condition of the damaged tire with me to show me exactly why it was unsafe for use. He had conducted a search to get me pricing on tires, even though I told him I was getting it replaced at no charge by the company responsible for the bad tire. I did indicate that I will be using him in the future... ...and so should you. But when/if you do, as always, be sure to tell 'em that "Kenny sent ya"!

Awful service. Charged nearly $200 for an "inspection" then tried to charge $1500 for a new fuel…read morepump. Declined the service and inspected the fuel pump myself. Found the fuel level float popped off, so the gas gauge was not accurate and the car had simply run out of gas. Attached the float back to the fuel pump and added gas. Took 15 minutes. Scammed out of $200 because they clearly did not inspect the car, specifically the faulty part they said needed fully replaced.

There was a…read morenumber of things this location did wrong, mainly boiling down to moving too quickly and skipping/missing important steps in the customer service process, but they did work with me on resolving these. They did replace the spark plugs on my car, as they'd replaced them previously and they were under warranty. I did choose to do the ignition coils myself, as I was able to purchase the same OEM parts significantly cheaper (25%) and do the job myself in ten minutes. ORIGINAL: Price gouging and predatory behavior. I've come to Oxford's multiple times before for scheduled maintenance with no issues, but I brought my car (~10yr old Honda, nothing fancy) over after hours urgently, because of an engine misfire and a 'SERVICE IMMEDIATELY' notification. When they opened and checked it in, they sent me an approval form for a $200 diagnostic charge, higher than I've ever had anywhere else, and not waived if you get the repair with them. I called for some clarification, and then a few minutes later found that they had started the diagnostic without getting my approval - apparently Kevin W took my asking a question as implicit approval. Annoying, but I was hoping to go ahead anyway so I let it go. A few hours later, I get another call from Kevin with the results of the diagnostic. I hadn't received an inspection report with details like I usually would have, and he said I needed new spark plugs and ignition coils, quoting me at around $1,100 for this. I can't give the exact value, because I was never sent the estimate, even after I specifically asked for it. I only received the inspection report at that time, but with no estimate or approval request. This is an absolutely absurd cost. I'm by no means a car guy, but this is something I can order all the parts for less than $130, and will only take an hour or so of my time. I have absolutely no idea what the hell they're doing that would make this cost more than $300-$500, at absolute most. Now, if they over-quoted me because they're busy and don't want the work - then just tell me that I'm either going to wait a few days or that I need to take it elsewhere. What this looks like to me is that they tried to take advantage and overcharge someone in a bind, thinking that I'd pay whatever they ask so my car was drivable again. I feel like the lack of a written estimate to look over before sports this. If so, this is predatory behavior from a repair shop, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Tried to scam me. Follow along:…read more I took my truck in to get a price to have a valve stem replaced. He said he couldn't give me a price until after he looked at the tire to make sure there wasn't a leak from a puncture. Truck goes up on the rack and the tire comes off. Comes back and said it will be $80 to replace the valve stem. I said I think that's a little high I'll go somewhere else. Comes back 5 minutes later and says his employee already started replacing The valve stem so there would be no charge. Oops on his part. Woke up this morning and my tire was flat. Took it to a different shop who found a puncture and leak. Mr Tire never checked for a leak. Just wanted to charge me $80 for the valve stem. Beware of Mr tire.
