On top of this, I went to another tire shop, Costco, and it turns out, Heath Goodyear didn't even put a plug on the puncture, they only applied a patch and that's why I was seeing a leak. Not only was Heath Goodyear more expensive, Costco is $12 if you're wondering, they also didn't follow standard practice and now I'm paying twice to have my issue fixed. I…read morehad been driving on two leaky tires for months and thought for sure I would have to buy new ones. The Katz tires found the nails in my tires in under a minute. The front tire was plugged before I even knew what was happening. The nail in the back tire was almost in the sidewall, so they took the time to explain that if I was going to go on a long (longer than 10 hours) trip, I might want to replace it, but if I am just driving local, a $25 patch would be just fine. While one guy was working on my tires, another was educating me on how to check the tread on my tires. These guys could have taken advantage of me and told me I needed 4 brand new tires, but instead they took the time to educate me so I could make informed decisions.
