The store inventory is huge with various brands, all top notch. The inventory is fresh as well. Meaning no expired products on the shelf. Super clean and well organized shop. There are two Sunrise Natural Foods. One is in Roseville and the other is this one, in Auburn. The staff here is engaging but not overly intrusive. The current staff does a walk about asking everyone if they have they need assistance. If one person doesn't know, they will get a coworker that can provide additional information. The shop also carries small but mighty inventory of grocery staples, fresh produce, prepackaged local meat and chicken, water filling station,makeup, and local made soap, Another thing to not is that they discontinued their purchase punch cards . But will honor ones that have not been redeemed yet. .

Lots of great, smaller companies I've never seen stocked at the chains I serviced (Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc) and one of the nicest employees I've ever had the pleasure of taking to. Wish this were closer to me. I'd be there every week. Bought some amazing raw cheddar, OTC CBD with 5HTP, and a handful of smaller stuff. If I had more money, I would spend a great deal of my paycheck but I don't. Gotta get back there soon when I have more cash reserves.

I've been here before it's been a couple of years, but I will say that the experience did not disappoint at all. I will say the customer service is much better at this location than what I experienced at the Arden Way location. Even if I didn't have to come pick up a package in this area, it will still worth the 35 minute drive from my house to come to this location. My cashier Brooke was super friendly and very helpful and answered my question about a specific inquiry. She thoroughly explained that there was an update and entering my phone number for my prime benefits, may not work, and I most likely would need to use the Amazon app scan code option to receive my prime discount. She even went above and beyond to give me further instructions regarding that. I truly appreciated her being so helpful, so patient and displaying such great customer service. My whole visit today was super pleasant. I purchased the artesian sandwich was delicious by the way. I was sad about one thing, though, my salad the sesame cucumber noodle salad was all sold out, but I understand why as Brooke even explained it is one of the most popular salads and does go pretty quick. I already had lunch earlier in the day at the Burger Lounge, and not in the mood for ice cream or gelato. With the limited snack type eateries in the Fountains, I meandered over to Whole Foods grocery store. The store was clean and had a current look. The self serve salad bar, soup bar, and deli had an impressive variety. Lots to choose from. Hubs went for a pepperoni slice. Pizzas are wood fired, thin crust. The pizza slices are self serve. Priced about $5. I wasn't in the mood for pizza so I walked about the self serve hot deli, looping several times trying to decide. I ended up with some lemon rice, veggie coconut curry, brocilli, and a roasted boneless chicken thigh. I had no clue how much my box weighed or costed. But beware, it can quickly add up in cost since it's priced by weight. After you scoop, no take-see backs sees. I took a bite of hubs pizza. It was not that great. Not awful either. The crust was tough and dried out. Probably been sitting for a bit under the heat lamp. I can imagine it would taste way better fresh n hot. The curry was fantastic. Smelled terrific, tasted really good. The rice was fluffy. The brocilli had a perfect tenderness, kinda impressed with that for deli food. The chicken was good (not great) but pretty decent for deli cooked chicken. We ate outside at the tables. But boy did they need some attention. The floor and tables were dirty with food remnants and bird droppings. Kinda have to contribute a large part of the state of disarray to the sloppy customers. The area was utilitarian in looks unlike the Whole Food in Folsom.

There are a few of the items, like the chocolate, that were behind a glass case where you grab them yourself. I noticed they had Kratom for sale and that is good to know for the future! The man who was working that I spoke to was great! I asked about the lotions/balms and I really appreciated his knowledge about how long they are good for. We didn't stay very long but walked around about a quarter mile and bought a whole bag filled with Mandarin, blood oranges, and Cara Cara oranges - $1.90/ lb. The little store also has marmalade, honey and other already picked citrus like the grapefruits and Meyer lemons - these are off limits to visitors due to the BIG thorns. It was not too thick but nicely dense, as well as delicious, with a well chosen mix of ingredients. I didn't want too much bread, so I ordered it on marble rye, and that turned out to be fairly thin, not overwhelming, and also strongly and delightfully flavored. There is a bathroom that you must ask for a key to. Once 1:30 rolled around, I was excited to try my sandwich given the great reviews, then came 1:40, then 1:50, and I did not have my sandwich until around 1:55. I worked in a sandwich shop for 3 years, so I know sometimes a wait is unavoidable and can recall dealing with rude customers, so I did not approach the staff regarding the wait. They were trying their best to accommodate the orders. However-- 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches, I think, is a little excessive. In the end, my sandwiches were spectacular, genuinely well crafted, and met (maybe even surpassed) my expectations. When I got back to my car, I noticed the worker (owner?) gave me a full sandwich despite me ordering half. I wasn't sure if this was purposeful as means of saying "our bad", or just a mistake, but I will say it left me in better spirits. If you have some extra time to kill, with friends etc., this is a must try. However, if you are on ANY sort of time restriction, I would not recommend stopping here. I'm sure this is not always the case, but as a stop on a long drive, I did not consider an extra 45 minutes for a sandwich. If the owners are reading this, I truly mean well and hope you know a long wait is a sign of success. Growth is inevitable!
