The beer and wine section near the front of the store is pretty impressive and the prices are definitely a couple dollars cheaper than most other spots in the area. Loved that they have a good selection of local stuff too! This is a spot that's definitely worth your time to come check out. You'll definitely find something that you can use, likely for less money than you're used to paying. I'm talking rows and rows of records, with so many different genres and eras to dig through. You could spend forever just browsing the record selection. And the antiques and collectibles?! TONS. And wander I did in Churchill's, through shelf after shelf of fiction, non fiction, vintage titles. I eventually left with a paperback I'd never heard of, a first edition of one of my old favorites, and a cool 1980 comic book that just struck my fancy. But more than the things I bought, what I really found in the meandering shelves of this little bookshop was the sense that there could be some treasure waiting for me around the next corner. In this little space filled with books of all kinds, Churchill's captures the feeling of discovery that all good bookstores have and online bookstores just can't replicate. My kids weren't with me this time, but I could hear them as I wrapped up my visit to Churchill's bookshop. "Come ON Dad, let's goooo already." I had to smile. I can always tell it's a great bookstore when I can hear my kids telling me I've spent too long wandering its shelves.
