Highly recommend the Craft dinner cruise for a special occasion or date night out…read more They have the seating assigned before your arrival as well as a special signed card for your arrival. The service was wonderful and food was excellent!!! I have been on other cruises where the food was just so/so as you were really paying for the cruise. Hands down, it caught me by surprise how good the food was along with great boat cruise too. Once they take your order they encourage the guest to get up and enjoy the view. Being a smaller boat, it was great as you never felt it was overcrowded. They have an open pay lot available for parking at the slip, but was around $40 per car the evening we went due to an event. They do offer discount parking in a nearby garage. Overall, great experience.

Enjoyed this infinitely more than my previous dinner cruises aboard The StarShip…read more The ship itself is small, but this allows for a much more intimate setting than The StarShip which always is packed full of people doing corporate outings, Frat/Sorority meetups, etc. The crowd on board seemed to be mostly couples on dates or families celebrating. The energy was great! The ambiance here is also great. I remember having to pay extra for a tablecloth on StarShip but here all the tables had beautiful marble designs and a nice little lamp. The food was amazing, we had the Salmon Deviled Eggs as an appetizer, my date had the Chef's recommended Hanger Steak and I had the Chef's recommended catch of the day which was Red Snapper. For dessert we did the cheesecake. Everything was great, whereas again on the StarShip I found the food to be very mediocre and bland. Service the entire night was super friendly and attentive. For drinks we did a few rounds of the sangria and the Kennedy Cruiser - these were great and definitely gave us a nice buzz as we sat out on the deck of the boat and took in Tampa's most beautiful waterfront sights.

From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience. The entire team was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly, which made all the difference. Planning an event like this--especially last minute and in a city you've never visited--can be stressful, but the team at The Battery made it all feel effortless. The room looked elegant and very impressive. The food and drinks were amazing too! People were still talking about how much they enjoyed the dinner days after the conference. I'd like to personally thank Steven, Ana, Brianna, Adeline, Aaron, and Matt for their exceptional customer service. We truly had a great time and will definitely plan to dine here again the next time we're in Tampa!

The…read morespace has that polished-yet-cozy energy that makes it easy to settle in whether you're here for a quick drink or making a night of it. We decided to try the calamari, and while it was cooked well, the flavor fell a little flat--it could've used a touch more seasoning or sauce to really make it pop. That said, the happy hour deals made it worth a try, and the portion was fair. The Donkey Kick, a Kentucky mule featuring four roses bourbon, house-made ginger-mint syrup was very good drink for happy hour. Where Battery really shined was in the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely friendly. That alone kept the experience positive and left us open to trying more of the menu next time. Overall: A stylish Channelside spot that nails the service and happy hour atmosphere--just hoping for a bit more punch in the flavors on the plate.

We were a group of 10 and our server was excellent! The whole staff really! We sat outside and enjoyed our food+ mimosas. There was a tv out there so i know if i ever go with my husband he can watch his games (gooooo sports) while i indulge in my mimosas. I'd been studying the menu ever since my friend told me we were going. I ended up going with the avocado tartine and added smoked salmon. It was delicious and went well with a day of heavy drinking!! We also ordered the grazing board for the table which was amazing. I loved the assortment of cheeses and snacks. The butter on the board was bussinnnnn! I was in heaven!! I should mention the bottomless mimosas were $25 and the bottles literally just keep coming! Safe to say we were all feeling nice and toasty by the time we left. We hung out for a while without even getting kicked out I'd love to visit again and try more menu items. The server mentioned the cubano is the best Cuban you'll have. Now I'm always a bit skeptical bc everyone says that lol but the cubano came out looking gooooodT! I didn't try it but my friend who ordered it loved it! Parking was easy and right outside. We parked and checked in pretty quickly with ease. Thanks for the awesome service and experience! I definitely recommend adding district south kitchen & craft to your list of boozy brunch spots!

A colleague and I split a small order of smoked wings with sides of BBQ sauce and blue cheese. Although small, the wings were indeed smoky and crisp. Very tasty, just not a plump wing. I went with the steak frites. A boneless ribeye grilled to temp. Nice dry rub, tender and a thick cut. The fries were dusted with Parmesan and served hot and crispy. My colleague's lentil curry soup gave a WOW response. He wished he had ordered a bowl. There were other interesting entrees on the menu. It's worthy of a return to sample the rest of the menu. This is a very good place to dine.

We sampled the local Reef Donkey brew, which definitely lived up to the hype--smooth, flavorful, and well balanced. A great choice if you're new to their beer lineup. We started with the hot pretzel served with queso and mustard. It came out warm, soft, and perfectly salted--ideal for sharing and easily one of the highlights of the visit. The pizza was generously topped and very cheesy, which we appreciated, though the quality of the sausage could use some improvement to better match the rest of the ingredients. We also tried the hot chicken tenders with hot honey drizzle. Flavor-wise, they were decent, but the portion size felt closer to boneless wings than tenders. The fries were hot and crispy, but overall the chicken itself could benefit from a crispier exterior. Worth noting for future guests: the Red Eye cider buffalo sauce comes with a $1 upcharge. Overall, this is a fun spot with a strong beer program and solid starters. Hoping to return in about six months to see improvements and refinements to the food offerings, as the potential here is definitely there.

We ate there twice while in town and overall the food was really good. The burger was delicious, and everyone in my group enjoyed what they ordered. The biggest issue was staffing. The hotel knew there was a large conference happening at the convention center, yet during lunch there was only one server trying to cover both the bar and the restaurant. He was doing his best, but it was clearly too much for one person. The second day there was also a helper clearing plates, but there was a language barrier and it was difficult to communicate simple things like drink refills or asking for the check. The food and atmosphere were definitely solid, and with proper staffing this easily could have been a 5-star experience.
