Food was below average. Potato salad was terrible, tasted as if it was over 2 weeks old. Perch was over breaded and not great tasting. Breaded haddock was tough and chewy, again, too much breading. We left with bad tastes in our mouths. Will never go back. I guess when you walk in the door at 6:00pm on a Friday night and the place is nearly empty, we should have taken this as a sign. My group of 5 would NOT recommend bowling at 10th Frame. Was charged $70 for 2 games each so $7.00 a game and we had our own shoes and balls. The lanes have many issues. Balls would not return, the lanes do not reset after throwing the second ball, and we had to have an attendant retrieve the balls several times that rolled back. I brought the pricing issue, and bowling issue to the bartenders attention when we were leaving. She said they had new lanes and $7 is very typical for area pricing. The lanes and equipment definitely do not seem new. We will not be back, and do not recommend bowling here to others. read more

This place is Wisconsin, through and through. Recently came back after terrorizing this place during my college years at Lawrence University. I mean--they currently haven an 'all you can bowl' for $6--everyday. If that isn't enough, $7.50 pitchers is a nice incentive even if you don't like bowling. They have a lot of TV's--it's as much a bar as it is an alley. Pretty standard Wisconsin bar food, but they did have the only "Chicken Cordon Blue Balls" I've ever seen or heard of--they call them "the blue balls." And they're spectacular. A little steep at 6 bux for 5 balls though. Either way the rest of the deals make up for it. You have to score your own game which can get hard after 5 or 6 pitchers. But hey that's how they keep the all you can bowl at 6 bux. read more

I love this place, while the lanes and balls are all well used and a bit rough, it's a fun cozy place to bowl. It's old school scoring on paper. But they do have bumper bowling on the last 7 or 8 lanes for people with kids. Shoes are included in the cost of bowling. When you are done bowling make sure to try the food, it's way better than your average bowling alley food, the grilled chicken is real chicken and nice and juicy, big burgers cooked to your liking. You can even get sides besides fries, they also offer cottage cheese, salad, potato salad or homemade chips. read more

We really like the food at this place. The first time we went the place was packed and 1 server. I am not going to know I my rating down because of her service. She tried her best and truly unexpected rush. I believe it is a lesson learned for management. It was Labor Day weekend and Badger game. The salad bar did not get restocked but the server took it off our bill. Sandwiches were very good and drinks were perfect. We went back 3 days later with my father. Service was excellent along with the food. We ordered the fried pickle spears. My father never had these but he went crazy over them. My husband had the taco bar and he enjoyed it. We ordered the Taco Pizza and it was great. Definitely would go there again. read more

I love this place! Not only is it great old school bowling, but the staff is AMAZING! I am physically disabled (leg amputee) and this was my first trip to a bowling alley since my amputation almost seven years ago. I discovered that bowling shoes were going to be too slippery for me to safely bowl, at least at this stage in my life, and asked the attendant that took our money if it would be okay to bowl in socks or with my own shoes on. He returned after a moment with the owner (or manager, I'm not sure), who made it very clear that I could do whatever it was I needed to have a successful time. She said to bowl in whatever I felt comfortable and that they had a number of things to help (a ramp, bumpers, etc) if I needed further accommodation. It really means a lot to me when a business can make me comfortable in an awkward situation. Sometimes everything feels like a struggle (and it was - I think I bowled a 40 on my first game), but I was treated with respect and dignity and ended up having a great time. I love this place. Old school bowling and chill atmosphere. Sundays have $6 all you can bowl. How cool is that??? Food was good and the drinks were well priced as well! If I lived back in WI, I'd be here every Sunday! Good for all ages as I took my grandma, parents and siblings. read more

My husband and I stopped in here on Easter, as we were just driving around since we didn't have official plans. Everyone here was so friendly, and the place was packed with families so you just know it's a good time for everyone. Everything was very reasonably priced, and you get to keep score yourself so it had a fun older feel to it. Definitely plan on coming back, even though it's a half hour drive from us. read more

I've went here a few more times since my last review, and it's grown on me. The staff have been super-friendly and attentive, and the food is quite good too. One time my bacon on my burger was a little far on the crispy side, but I'm used to burning my own bacon much worse more often than not. The burger was definitely your typical pub burger, greasy and probably bad for you, but extremely satisfying! Good beer on tap too. I can see why local Wisconsinites like this place! Came here to support Big Brothers Big Sisters at their Bowl for Kids Sake event. It's a smaller bowling alley, maybe about 12 lanes. You have to keep track of your own score, which you don't see at many bowling alleys any more. I think that makes the game more fun. The shoe selection is either not very big or I just went on a day where everyone has the same sized feet as me as I had to get one size smaller so my feet were squished and uncomfortable the whole time. I would recommend not to eat and bowl as the balls were pretty oily and felt I had to wash my hands if I wanted to touch any food. Bowling is always fun and I had a good time. read more

We went here last week for a meal. My husband ordered chicken wings and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The wings were ok. The cheeseburger was flavorless and dry and the bacon had been cooked in the fryer instead of the flat top so it had lost all of its flavor. The other thing I disliked was that the patrons and some of the employees went out to smoke immediately outside the front door. In order to leave you had to walk through a cloud of smoke and smokers. I don't mind if people smoke but I do mind having to walk through it. They could have walked 10 feet in either direction in order to clear the door. The service was good. But between the food quality and the smoke, we will not be back. The food was great several years ago. I'm wondering what happened. read more

This is a WI bowling alley and bar. Someone commented that it hasn't changed in years and they're right, but if you like nostalgia as I do, that's OK. I went bowling and ate here with my children. There was noone smoking near the door when we were here. The food and service was good. The chef was fabulous, and even checked if we liked our food. The drinks - alcohol free mixers -were done exactly like I remembered a kiddy cocktail when I was young, and the price was very reasonable. Went in for lunch today, running your normal taco tuesday special, but the tacos are everything but normal -- ive gone 2 weeks in a row, beef, chicken and various styles of pork. Solid stuff. More fixings than anywhere else ive been! Definitely worth the $6 bucks or whatever it was. read more

We have been here MANY times over the past few years. Tonight, we had the best meal there, EVER! The special was a "beef brisket sandwich." For those of you who have been to Milwaukee....this is Jake's corned beef....sans the corned part. This was, simply put, the best sandwich I have had in the 11 years we have lived up here. The first bite was, oh gosh, ambrosia!!!!! For those of you who have not been so lucky, the first bite of a Jake's sandwich melts in your mouth. This sandwich did the very same thing....with a perfect sauce, a perfect moisture level, a perfect...well, every thing. This sandwich came with two giant onion rings and some cheddar cheese...nothing WRONG with them, but this sandwich did NOT need them. (If it comes back, I would ask for them on the side.) Every bite thereafter merely served to underscore the impression of the first bite. Near the end of our meal, I asked the chef how long this would be a special. Heartbreakingly, he responded, "to the end of the night." Please.....PLEASE...join me in begging them to make this part of their regular menu. And....if you have some hesitation, they have a salad bar now, and that is fabulous too!! read more
