I've been here several times and it is okay. I wish the service was a little better and I wish the food had more flavor. It's a great addition to the north side of Appleton, so I am willing to give it a few more tries and see if there is something worth raving about. My favorite items have been on their beer list.

This place is enormous! You can enter on both sides of the building, there's a good sized patio and a small ramp that leads to elevated seating inside. Holidays has a very large menu that has all the standard bar food offerings but I'll give a shout out to 2 noteworthy ones - the fried cheese curds are DYNAMITE - some of the best I've had. I questioned if it was wise to order an ahi tuna salad at a bar but this turned out to be a zero regrets decision. Fresh ahi, well proportioned salad with dressing on the side, good seasoning. I would gladly order this again.

Kind of slow service for a large group. The food was good. Lots of TVs but slow service

After driving to 4 different places and finding them all closed, my family ended up at Holidays in Appleton on a whim... and we were so pleasantly surprised! We had the boneless wings (jalapeño aioli sauce) as an appetizer and they were delicious! They were not too spicy at all, but full of flavor, even my 2 year old loved them! My husband and I got the prime rib panini (w/ au jus) and the bacon cheese curd sandwich with chicken (instead of a burger) and both were seriously awesome! Portions were big, we both had half leftover to take home, and I would definitely order either of these items again. The sauces they serve with the fries for dipping were also so so good (garlic Parmesan was the best!) Kids meals were reasonably priced (around $6) and my kids cleared their plates. We had the berry moscow mule and a blueberry mojito and we both really enjoyed those as well. The back patio space is really cute with a large tv and fireplace, it's open air into the indoor table seating area as well. We actually would have never even known they had a patio when looking at the building from the street, but it was a great little spot! Great service from our server as well! I have seen some recent reviews for Holidays in the group, and I have to agree...highly recommend checking it out

The food was below average at best. Service was fine as were portions. But for the price the food wasn't that great.

Super loud & expensive. It felt weird getting the same meal I could have purchased at Tom's 8 feet away for half the price.

The chili tasted like it was in a crock pot for 2+ weeks and had a thick hard top crust like it was sitting forever and they just scooped it right into the cup. Garlic parm wings is what I ordered. I should have definitely avoided the sauce, I had to ask for side plate because the wings were soggy from sitting in the deep puddle of sauce. I really wanted to like the place but food was far from enjoyable. Diet Coke was the star of the show.

I skipped the fries, so won't speak to those, but was allowed to add a salad for $5, kinda crappy trying to not waste food. Lost a star for this. But the wings. Oh the wings. Standard Buffalo Hot Wings. Hot by most standards, I've been done for a solid 10 minutes and my lips are still tingling. I'm happy, this ranks in the top 2 places in the nation as far as I'm concerned for wings. Cooked to perfection crispy on the outside, tender and hot on the inside, none of that undercooked weirdness you get at some places. My bartender was perfectly attentive, very polite and my cup was never left wanting. It's a sports bar with a bags and indoor volleyball and basketball. So if you're looking for summer diversions in Appleton, come here.

Where to start?! Well, the food was great, and the drinks were great, and the service was great,…read moreso... not much else to say! I'm just kidding, I always have more to say. ;) But, in fairness, it's a great little spot that's kind of tucked away about a block and a half off the main strip (College Blvd or whatever it's called). But, it's a hidden gem worth searching for! We were made aware of this place thanks to the kind woman working at our hotel. We were in town for a game at Lambeau, and we heard that there was a shuttle from Rookie's to the field, which we definitely wanted to make use of! (That's a whole other review, but let's just say, it was an experience I'll never forget, and one I would repeat in a heartbeat!) The crowd here was clearly Packers fans. But, in their defense, they didn't make us opposing team fans feel threatened or not welcomed. Quite the opposite! Once they realized we were going to be respectful of their place and their folks, they welcomed us! The food really is good, especially for the money. It's one of those rare inexpensive places left in this country, where a pretzel appetizer easily feeds a family of four! LOL! I wish there weren't just two of us, because we also ordered boneless wings and cheese curds! Everything was hot and fresh, and it all tasted great. The drinks were large, inexpensive, and cold. No complaints at all. The service was also really wonderful, with friendly staff and very efficient servers. Like I said, nobody gave us a lot of grief for being from out of town. But, we could tell right away, this was a "local spot" and for a very good reason. Locals and regulars definitely make up the customer base, but they keep coming back for all the other reasons provided: good food, good drinks, and very reasonable prices. Example: I offered to buy a beverage for a very nice person who was incredibly helpful to us, specifically in arranging our spots on the shuttle bus. She was drinking a rail Old Fashioned. You know what that cost me? $3.50. That's not a South Park reference. That was what I paid for a rail cocktail! Anyway... if I'm ever in Appleton again, I'm stopping by. This really is a diamond in the rough, and one well worth your time in searching for.

I'd love to tell you the vibe was friendly, lighthearted. I'd love to say that staff, and either owner or manager named Steve modeled fantastic customer interaction. Sadly, my experience this evening, that would be a lie; something I just don't. o. I found an open chair at a curve of the bar.To both of my sides there was a cluster of 4 people. At the moment the guy was grabbing disposable shot glasses from next to the register. The females got a larger, I suspect a double, while males got a smaller than a full size regular shot.mI had noticed that 2h3n he was pouring for another cluster of peoplemwho at the bar. Lube the ladies with more alcohol. Jack Daniel's has a hell of a kick. I sat there watching this play out, followed by the guy holding court. I was hoping he was not driving. 10 or so minutes after I. Sat, a bartender /. Server showed up to ask me 'what can I get ya?". I remarked how much I welcomed feeling one of the staff people noticed me. Quickly, Bill in a blue polo shirt launched in, claiming he was busy but had seen me when I sat. He didn't acknowledge me with even a simple hollo, or something. I decided to go away, even Culver's would be better. As I was gathering to go the guy in the blue polo shirt was yelling at me about; away, please just go away! I don't need your money as&*le" So, no, I can't rate the food from this visit, but service. If Steve, I think that was his name - is the owner or management, he sets a poor example for the rest of the crew. It's fine if he wants to get convention adults drunk. So long as that's the only goal. When I tended bar and served I made sure to say hello to every one they sat, no matter what I was doing.

If anyone else had this available in the Fox Valley I would go there every week to get my fix. It's salty, savory, creamy, crunchy and CRAVE-ABLE. They do not have physical menus or servers to take people's orders; customers scan a QR code to get the online menu and order at the bar area. I can't speak to the craft beer and wine aspect to the restaurant, but they do offer some delicious craft sodas for people looking for nonalcoholic options. Although they have "normal" woodfire pizza choices (traditional pepperoni, cheese, etc.), the highlight is their rotating menu of inventive specialty savory and dessert pizzas. I found their "normal" pizza to be just ok, but the tomato soup pizza (Souper Slice) was incredibly flavorful and unique! It's definitely worth taking the leap of faith for some of their more out-there sounding pizza options. Since they have limited oven space to cook the pizzas, food can take a while to come out if it's busy. Plan ahead and use that time to relax and enjoy their drinks, or come during an off-peak time for less wait.
