Very good Italian food. We enjoyed sitting on the patio there this summer. Good bread, pasta, and pizza. They also have a kids menu. The service was good, and we observed one of the servers being unfailingly polite to a neighboring table that complained about the size of the _free_ ice cream given to their child. The food was amazing! Very authentic Italian restaurant. I had ordered the garlic bread with the penne arrabbiata. The sauce was fresh and home made. My friends ordered the seafood risotto and pasta and loved it. They said it came with a lot of shrimp and oysters. The staff were friendly and Olga was nice. The pizza looked great but didn't get to try it. Ambiance is nice too but not anything fancy. Just a regular old school Italian restaurant vibe. We had a reservation for 9 tonight and this place was a wonderful find. We had numerous types of pastas, pizzas, appetizers, breads, and everything was delicious. They also accommodated a gluten-free allergen, and they had many options to choose from. Our drinks consisted of beers, cocktails, and baileys coffees with tiramisu for dessert. Everything was on-point! As for the service, Rachel and Antonella took excellent care of us tonight. And with 9 people, they were busy! They were patient, kind, helpful, prompt, and engaged with us all during our stay. They were on-point! The establishment was quaint and lively and certainly looked to be a locals favorite. Super delicious and the staff was so kind! We tucked in here on a rainy Friday afternoon and were met with the most kind waitress. The food on the specials board looked amazing so we got some of those. The seafood pasta was amazing and a glass of wine made this the perfect lunch spot. Great waitress, cute decor and food was hot are the positives. We had the calamari and Margarita pizza. Calamari was small portion, tasteless and not tender as a good calamari should be prepared. Pizza crust was nice, but remainder bland and lacked season. Tried to fix with Parmesan dust provided, but that too was tasteless which equals cheap in my experience. Super little restaurant. Nothing fancy but sometimes that's not the point. Staff are always friendly and the food is always fresh and superb. We've eaten here probably more than once a month and each time it has been without fault. There are always a few specials on the menu which are great and the regular menu has something for everyone from pizza to pasta and fish to steak. It's a simple menu but done well. If you're looking for some honest food in a family type restaurant that's relaxed and welcoming then you can't go wrong here. It's also great for family's with kids. I'd probably go so far as to say it's one of the better in Malahide without any of the fuss. read more

It was very very hard making a choice as to where to dine in here, it was the GF's birthday and we were in the gorgeous picturesque seaside town of Malahide with plenty of great places and interesting side streets to wander. This was not our first choice, but Kajjal was fully booked so we opted for That's Amore, clean bright and quick service and not overly priced. Some of the upper end restaurants in the North take note, Malahide is one of the poshest places in ROI but the prices were reasonable, a starter each of tiger prawns in filo pastry, and calamari with a sweet chili sauce followed by a steak with chips and veg for the GF and seafood linguine for me and 2 soft drinks came to €48 pretty good! Great place to eat real Italian food! Service is very good and fast and the food is really delicious. And to finish nothing better than the real coffee (Segafredo expresso)! Only four stars because the place is a bit small and can get too packed, too fast, too often... And for the Irish that still reject real food and prefer the usual sausages with bacon (Irish fried) don't worry as they do serve that as well :-) read more

Found myself here on a wet, wintry Saturday afternoon - in July. I came for a pizza but my head was turned by the 'specials' board and I ordered surf and turf. Big mistake. I ordered my steak medium rare. Generously, it was cooked medium but wafer thin and flavourless. Also, swimming in a vague creamy sauce that I couldn't identify. The surf bit consisted of a handful of sad prawns draped on top of the steak with a side of two impenetrable langoustines that I couldn't be bothered deconstructing. A single patheric grilled tomato-half looked forlornly at the pair of deep fried onion rings that were 90% batter and 10% dessicated onion. Chunky chips were good if not plentiful. A couple of glasses of house white were not enough to drown the memory of a pretty meh experience. I won't be rushing back. read more

Meh... The place itself is really quaint and the staff are very friendly however my risotto was not good. It was clumpy and dry instead of smooth and creamy. The flavours were good however a little too strong. My Mam got the salmon she said it was nice but nothing special. I wont be back in a rush but if i am next time it'll be for the pizza as it looked delish! read more

Great local restaurant with wonderful friendly staff. The menu offers a wide variety of options from sandwiches to pasta and pizza, or scones and cakes with excellent lattes. Their omelettes and brown bread are my favourite! Every time I stay in Malahide it's my go-to place. read more

Myself and my lady had a lovely meal here last night,the place is a lovely traditional Italian restaurant suitable for families or couples,the staff were very hospitable and greeted us warmly.I had the garlic mushrooms and the pizza sima which were lovely, my better half had the anti pasta and pizza with black olives,she enjoyed it very much, I had a lovely piece of custard and lemon pie for desert while she had the brownie, lovely also, we had a bottle of nice Italian rose for drinks. The staff were very good, in a nice Italian fashion we could relax and enjoy our meal,we were not rushed and really enjoyed our experience there.I definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Italian food as we do. read more
