Novel is located in a cute little courtyard with some other businesses. The ordering is done at a little window. The people working there seemed like they didn't care -- but they were kids working at a job where the ice cream probably dyes your hands blue and the donut smell probably makes you gag after a while -- so I get it! It is a fun concept and I love this cute little area of downtown PHX. I would come back and try a different combo -- but only when I am so hungry (not after dinner, LOL)

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and tastes like it was made with so much care. This visit was all about the cannoli, and let me just say... craving officially satisfied! The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ). Whether you're stopping in for a post-dinner dessert, celebrating something special, or simply giving in to a sweet tooth like I did, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Every dessert we've tried has been phenomenal, and this cannoli was another delicious reminder of why we keep coming back. Sweet craving? Check. Happiness? Double check.

The blackberry had to be thrown out as well as it went bday. Literally next morning. $22.50 for 3 slices before tax is quite a bit, and for it to be bad is a travesty.
