    Food left on the porch.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Delivery people are consistently rude. Sent food to friends, delivery person couldn't be bothered to ring the doorbell, he just left it on the porch. When I called the restaurant, the manager said the food was delivered, what do you want, you just called to complain. If this place wasn't kosher, it would be out of business.

This is a really nice restaurant. The sushi tastes fresh. Good portions. The place is clean. I love that there's several diet soda selections besides Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. The employees are very nice. The music is contemporary but instrumental, so it's enjoyable without any risk of being offensive. Imagine the music from Bridgerton.

DO NOT ORDER!!! They do not have their health inspection grade visible to the public because they have a C! This is a picture from their last and current health inspection! They didn't even try to fix it! I don't know about you, but I would NEVER want to eat food that has any rodents on it. I don't think that's very Kosher. These results are straight from the NYC Department of Health! They're trying to deceive you!

I have come here a couple of time and really enjoyed the rolls that I got. I thought It was very cool to see a sushi restaurant have so many interesting vegetarian options. I ordered three rolls and they all came on separate takeout kind of plates instead of all on one plate, which I thought was kind of weird that they didn't have real plates. My only real complaint is that when walking into the place they definitely don't make you feel welcome, which is a big turn off to me when it comes to eating somewhere.

Ordered via phone and food was ready in 15 minutes. Very friendly inside, asked if I needed extra sauce or wasabi. Sushi was good! Menu doesn't have a ton of variety though, mostly salmon and tuna options. I'd go back again.

Good sushi. Chill staff. Chill vibes. It's a bus stop or 15 min walk from brooklyn college, and decently priced for a lunch special.

That sushi spot has the best sushi in Brooklyn. As an avid sushi eater I couldn't be more satisfied with the food and service at the store.

While wandering through Bed-Stuy on a weekday evening, my husband and I decided to try out this new…read moresushi spot. It wasn't terrible--but I had a lot of mixed feelings. Food: 3/5 I'm a huge sushi fan, so I was excited when I saw a deluxe sashimi set on the menu. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. The scallop was thinly sliced and lacked the rich texture I was hoping for. The salmon and other cuts were decent, but short and oddly shaped--chunky yet small, which made the whole presentation feel a bit off for something labeled deluxe. We also tried to branch out and ordered the short rib entree. For $21, it was shockingly small--definitely a single-person portion, not sharable. I added extra ikura to a salmon donburi bowl for $2, but it was barely a teaspoon's worth--just enough to say it was there. Oddly, the salmon slices in that bowl were thinner than the sashimi we had just eaten, and overall, it left me still hungry even after sharing a maki roll. Lastly, my husband ordered a green salad, which somehow took the entire meal service to arrive. When it finally came, it was just plain romaine, cucumbers, radish, and dressing. For a dinner that clocked in at over $150 (after tip), we definitely left underwhelmed. Service: 3/5 This part wasn't bad, just confusing. We were seated quickly, but the pacing of the meal was strange. Our seaweed salad and soups came out promptly, but the green salad came last, after the hot dishes and nearly after my husband finished eating. Also, a small thing--but when I'm paying $16 for four oysters, I want to know what kind they are. The menu just said "West Coast oysters," but our server couldn't tell us the variety or origin. Not a huge deal, but it added to a general lack of polish that didn't quite match the pricing. I don't think I'd return. For the price, there are better sushi options in Brooklyn with higher quality, better portions, and clearer service. Still, I appreciate new spots opening up in the neighborhood, and I'm always happy to try something new. Hopefully they refine the menu and service with time.

We started with the salmon belly carpaccio which I'd say isn't really a carpaccio because the salmon isn't sliced as thinly as you'd expect. But! I mention that just to set expectations. Nomenclature aside, it's an excellent appetizer. Served in a truffle and ponzu sauce, the salmon is lightly seared which yields two different textures to the fish. It practically melts in your mouth. Highly recommend this dish. For my entree I went with the trio don, which is 6 pieces of sashimi served over your choice of plain or sushi rice (sushi rice for me). The fish was fresh and flavorful. The portion was perfect for me. My boyfriend ordered a yellowtail roll and enjoyed that as well. We also shared a carafe of the cold house sake. I'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu. It's great for sharing and trying new dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.

Above all, the fish quality and freshness is excellent and the nigiri felt especially authentic (not too much rice, sizable cuts of fish done in the traditional style). The akami and hamachi belly were particularly great. The toro scallion and king salmon crunch hand rolls were also favorites. Our opinions were more split on the spicy tuna crispy rice (I loved, husband was more lukewarm) and dumplings (obviously very freshly prepared but quite fried). The overall ambience is airy, quiet and calm and service was warm and fast. We would have loved to try the cocktails as they sound really interesting -- next time!

The space is pretty large, with a good amount of tables in addition to bar seating. I split the tuna crispy rice and the signature roll set and it was plenty of food for two. The signature roll set had an assortment of interesting and unique rolls ranging from truffle to mango- my fave was the New York crunch w potato crisps on top. The tuna crispy rice was also a bit different- served as a tartare w crispy rice chips for dipping. Very crispy and tasty though! Service was super attentive and very welcoming. Definitely will be coming back if I'm in the area.
