Worst Service. The one male employee at 11:30 am on Thursday is not friendly (looked but said nothing to me when I entered the small shop). I was there 10 minutes waiting to order before I left. I had an overwhelming urge to jump over the counter and punch dude in his throat but I didn't because well growth. Anywho dude was walking around like a snail gossiping with his homie about Disneyland and why they're not going today. I have never seen someone so uninterested in their client / customer. I felt like I was intruding on their personal conversation and it got uncomfortable. Saw this bakery on Instagram a few days ago, so I decided to stop by on my usual once a month excursion to Los Angeles. I was pleasantly surprised to find a really nice bakery with a very light ambiance with a quaint atmosphere. I found the service to be good, the owner is a very accommodating gentleman who was very happy to answer any questions that I had. I purchased multiple pieces of baked goods, today I am trying the Chocolate chocolate cake, which is full of flavor and very moist, I was not disappointing at all. Just finished celebrating my husband's birthday with a German chocolate cake from this bakery. Everyone loved it! I'm allergic to coconut, so I had an Oreo brownie, Amazing! We forgot an item when we picked up the cake, Arturo called immediately and held if for us. My foster grandson, 17, wanted a muffin. He made inappropriate remarks about how good it was. My experience here on 08/23/24 was not like I pictured it to be and for that I will never be coming back??? For starters, they don't have a parking lot and it's hard to find?! When I did eventually find it and came in, the guy that helped me was very rude and I mentioned that I came to find out about this place from a Tiktoker, Unapologetic eats, and he goes, oh she's cool and this & that and precedes to be an a**hole to me and for that I will no longer take these foodies recommendations!! My deserts were average nothing special or that I couldn't made myself at home, it really takes one time for me to experience bad customer service and I'm not coming back again ...good writtens!! I have already been here three times since they've open and I have not been disappointed. Was so excited to hear their Yelp was finally available! Baked goods 10000000/10! We had their strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie cheesecake, blueberry coffee cake, regular coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, and two cupcakes. I can literally say they're just freaking amazing. My favorite were the blueberry (I think there's lemon) coffee cake and regular coffee cake. Coffee 100/10 ! We had a hot chai latte and also an iced hazelnut latte. Definitely delicious, but on the sweeter side (which is what I like so no complaints here). Cant wait to try the other drinks they have. Customer service 100000000/10!! Many months ago we tried the gingerbread, some coffee drinks and another pastry. The service was fine and the ambiance was ok. As for the iced coffee...it was not very strong and the taste was watered down. The gingerbread was hard and not edible. Sorry to say that all the hype was untrue in my case. Visited this bakery for the first time last week. Small bakery can easily be missed if you don't know it's there. Service/ambiance was ok, didn't feel super welcoming..... service needs a little improvement. Maybe some light music might help, just a little friendly suggestion. This place has been around for just 20 months, but I have been hearing such good things and decided to give this bakery a try. I am so happy I did! Everything I tasted was delicious! My favorite of course were the chocolate chip cookies, because I just love cookies. The pumpkin pie cheesecake is divine!! The brownies are true brownies, pure decadence. I am not a fan of carrot cake but I am s fan of their carrot cake, the carrot is not overpowering and they add coconut, I love coconut. The cupcakes are moist and perfect. I love that nothing is sickly sweet but a perfect balance of sweetness. The bakery parking is small, but there are about 5 tables inside were you can sit and enjoy your treats. I've visited this bakery a few times now, but it has been twice now during my lunch break where i've stopped by with coworkers, and both times the doors were locked with no sign or notice indicating whether they were closed temporarily, on lunch, or adjusting hours. While their drinks are great, the lack of communication about their availability feels unprofessional--especially when it causes us to waste our limited lunch break waiting outside. I am not a cake or cup cake person (unless is Bundt cake or ice cream cake) but these were sooo yummy in taste, and NOT DRY. I got banana and chocolate, (I added the choc fondants btw.. ) I will be ordering again. Coffee : I am a sweet coffee person , I like more sweet than coffee taste . But this was a bit too much flavoring. Probably the pumpkin syrup . I asked for 50/50 flavor , probably go very light/ easy on pumpkin syrup or get an extra shot... absolutely my favorite small business bakery to support. i've been here twice, the first time i tried a brownie and an iced chai. both were amazing and service was great. today was the same, except i tried their matcha horchata & it was delish!!! it was 7.50 and it came out so so quick. the customer service is the best always! they have such a great variety of pastries that looks tasty! the parking is a bit limited but there is some street parking in the neighborhood. the inside is very clean and natural. i've seen them bake the cutest cakes on their instagram so i encourage ordering one for occasions. i definitely will start coming here way more often! 100/10 support small businesses can't express how much i love this place read more

Baked goods: 5 STARS Coffee: 5 STARS Service: 2 STARS Walked in this evening in a whim, didnt even know exactly what it was but we saw a sign on the counter that said coffee so we thought we would check it out. Right off the bat, the woman behind the counter starts telling us about their coffee options. I was too busy looking at the pastries to hear the whole spiel but I caught the tail end of it, "we do not make frappucinos here. We're not Starbucks, we're better than Starbucks." Uhm ok, cool I guess? She then went on to explain how they were very coffee forward and their drinks werent sweet, but they could make them sweet if needed. We ordered hazelnut lattes, one hot, one iced. Asked for sugar-free sweeteners and was told they were fazing it out because it wasn't profitable. Sooooo is that a yes or no? Asked for soy milk and immediately was told "No, it's not good for you. I really like the oat." Like ma'am, that's nice but the coffee is for ME to enjoy. And Im sure all these sweets are definitely not good for me either but I didnt hear anything about that for any of the 6 pastries we got lol. We talked about how you couldn't exactly tell what the location was for from the street, maybe a street sign would help as we have passed by numerous times to go to the Tres Pollos next door and never noticed it. "That cost money." Girl, just smile and nod. We dont need to know the backend of your business. Maybe some people find this personable? I found it off-putting. Final gripe is that upon walking in, I immediately asked about the cinnamon rolls. While ordering our coffees, I said I wanted a cinnamon roll. While browsing the pastries, I mentioned how I was definitely getting my cinnamon roll. When checking out, and mentioning that the coffees and cinnamon roll would be on a separate check we were told "No one told me" and the order couldnt be cancelled. Ok, thats fine. Except, I never got the cinnamon roll. Literally parked out front and almost went back in but it wasnt even worth it. She didnt catch that we wanted a cinnamon roll despite mentioning it a bunch of times, or that we were paying seperately despite making a big deal out of who was getting what, but she definitely caught that we were visiting with family and wanted to know what the plans were, if we were just gonna be taking the pan back to chismear con las tias. Girrrrl you are picking up on the wrong conversations lol. But again, to reiterate the coffee was great, and the pastries were incredibly moist and decadent. I really want to like this place. But I have gotten baked good so many different times and they taste stale unfortunately. And for the iced drinks can never really get the same consistency. I'm so happy that this place opened up close to home!
