When I got to the clinic, things were pretty normal at the front. I checked in, filled out some forms, and sat down. I waited a little longer than I expected but not too bad. Once I was in the back, the assistant asked some routine questions, then left. The doctor walked in and got right into things but not in a rushed way. They asked what I was experiencing and then asked more specific things after that. I liked that they gave their full attention and weren't typing on a computer the whole time. They actually looked at me while I talked, which made me feel like I was being listened to. After going over everything, they explained a few next steps and what to watch out for. Was introduced to Dr. Thao by a friend. I was apprehensive at first. I appreciated the thorough New Patient form I had to fill out the first time. Dr. Thao is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He does a visual check of your standing posture before he begins and explains some of the issues he notices. He then goes into the adjustment, guiding you every step of the way. You can tell he is very passionate about being a Chiropractor and the benefits his patients receive from his care. We've always gotten great adjustments by Dr. Thao. I ended up switching chiropractors because his hours of operation and my work schedule didn't align, and now I'm sorry that I invested in a package at a place that's twice as far away and twice as expensive because they no longer have Saturday clinic, and now Dr. Thao is open until 7pm! I've never been a fan of the offices that make you come in for expensive xrays, exams, and consultations. Especially because I used to work for a chiropractor who did just that.
