The team at Bayside Chiropractic have been an essential part of my health routine for the past couple of years. I originally started going to address chronic lower back pain alongside constant tightness throughout my neck and shoulders. What keeps me coming back is their consistent, high-quality care. Every visit is targeted to where I'm holding tension that week. The combination of targeted spinal adjustments and neck work has drastically reduced my daily discomfort. The office is always professional and welcoming. If you are dealing with long-term back or shoulder pain, Bayside is great choice. read more

I have been a patient of Bayside Chiropractic since Oct 2011 (my husband since July 2009). WOW! That's a long time. 14 years for me. Dr Eva Chiu is professional, kind, knowledgeable and experienced. She has many patients but she remembers details like when we go on vacation and asks about it during the next visit. She has helped me 3 times when I urgently needed a same day appt or multiple appts in a week or a work-related injury. Her staff and associates have the same professionalism and warm bed side manner that patients appreciate very much. We don't have Chiro insurance so we buy the package of visits. Occasionally, our kids have needed adjustments, so we apply our package to their visits too. The office is clean and modern. I remember when there was a building fire years ago and Dr Eva Chiu had to close the office for repair and renovation and we went to her temporary location at another chiropractor's office in San Carlos. Thank you Dr Eva for your continuous care and monthly adjustments (sometimes more). Our family loves you! If you are looking for a new chiropractor, I highly recommend Bayside Chiropractic! read more

I've been going to Bayside for over half a year and there have been a few changes over that time. Dr Anna has joined the team and become a welcome addition I feel. She isn't my primary chiropractor but provided amazing help whether it was going over exam results or adjusting me. She is easy to talk to and I feel comfortable trusting my back with her. Dr Eva has also brought Cathy to the team who is a friendly and welcoming face when you enter the office. In general I really appreciate all the personal touches Dr Eva and her team make whether it's the raffles, art, or decorations. I feel like I'm genuinely appreciated and cared for when I'm here. Lastly, Dr Sami has taken over as my primary chiropractor and truly is a gem. She has worked consistently on me for over half a year and has helped guide me back to a healthier place. In spite of the setbacks I've taken over that time, Dr Sami has made me feel like I can truly recover. This is evident in her personalized care, but shines brighter with her handling of tough matters. When I felt at my lowest physically, Dr Sami's encouragement and thoughtful words impacted me more then she knows and I don't know if I'd be working this hard towards recovery without her. Thank you Dr Sami and thank you Bayside. read more

This is hands down the best chiropractor practice I have experienced. The DRs and front desk teams are top notch. I feel great under their care. read more

I am very thankful to have been treated by the Bayside Chiropractic team. My ailments were a chronic sore shoulder I've had pain from an auto accident 3 decades ago, and after having hip replacement surgery my right leg always felt "longer" than my left leg. The prognosis was my spine was not aligned! After being treated by Dr. Eva and Dr. Sami my legs feel even again, and my shoulder pain is gone. They took an holistic approach by giving me stretch & strengthening exercises for my posture and core that helps as well. Dr. Sami also noted my chronic allergies and the doctors added treatment for that as well. The administrative staff Bre and Cathy are very friendly and always helpful too. I definitely recommend Bayside Chiropractic. read more

I had a pretty good experience here. The staff at the front were quick to get me checked in and the wait wasn't too bad. The doctor took time to really ask questions and listen to what I was going through. They explained things in a clear way and didn't seem rushed which I appreciated. The assistant who helped before the doctor came in was polite and asked detailed questions. Everything felt organized and professional. I would say overall it was a solid visit and I'd likely return again if I need to. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Eva Chiu, Dr. Sami Lang, and Dr. Lisa Ly at Bayside Chiropractor for over a year, and I can't recommend them enough. The entire team is professional, caring, and truly passionate about what they do. Bre, the chiropractic assistant, always greets me with a warm and friendly welcome, which makes every visit even more inviting. The office itself has so much creativity and personality it feels welcoming rather than clinical, which makes each appointment comfortable. I have a knack for creating my own back pain, but thankfully this team is just as skilled at helping me resolve it. Each session leaves me feeling better, more aligned, and genuinely cared for. If you're looking for a thoughtful, effective, and friendly chiropractic team, Bayside is the place to go. read more

I've been to a few chiropractors over the years and this place is wonderful. Glad I stumbled upon them on Yelp. They do a great job of reviewing my images and explaining what exactly I need to do and what they're going to help with. Went to another place prior to and felt like I just got yanked on and that's about it. Front desk is helpful in a accommodating with a fluctuating schedule and nice they have weekends. Lots of insurances don't cover chiro care, which is fine, but this place is definitely worth it if you have to pay out of pocket. read more

TLDR; Beware, this place will use scare tactics about your spine and classic sales pressure to have you buy into care that you don't need. Get a second opinion or steer clear from them. I don't typically write reviews but I felt a strong moral obligation to let others know about my experience. I came in after having some lower back pain from lifting weights (squatting) and was looking for some immediate pain relief. I've been to 3 other chiropractors and several PTs in my life to have muscle relief from exercise when needed so this isn't my first rodeo. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new chiropractor. For a new patient, they required that I get an x-ray and had "a new patient consultation", which totaled 400 dollars. Sounded reasonable to me since I haven't had a back X-ray in a long time and I was in pain. That same session, they did work on a bit of my muscle and provided some relief but they asked me to come back the next day to review my X-rays. I come back in and they have all these nice diagrams showing that my 30 something year old back has "scoliosis" and is not straight in several parts and that I was seeing degeneration in my back and would not be able to be active in my middle age at this rate. They said that I needed to have 55 sessions of "adjustments", 3 days a week in order to remedy the situation. The total would be about 4k dollars, but if I chose to pay in full up front, they would give me 20% off the total. At this point, all the alarm bells going off in my head. Of course I'm concerned about my back health and of course I'd like to save 1000 dollars so that I can continue to do my hobbies and not be old and unable to be active. But also this seemed to be a high pressure sales situation, much like you'd feel in a car dealership. I pushed back on them and said I'll do a few sessions and take the deal later. They obliged and I had 3 sessions set up for the next week. In the mean time, as soon as I got home, I started working on second opinions. Before those second opinions, I had bayside do two adjustments. Both times I went, I was seen for 5 minutes, they cracked my back in 3 spots, and I was on my way with 85 dollars less in my wallet. No improvement in my pain levels. I got two second opinions. First was from another chiropractor down the road. They saw the X-rays and said everything looks normal and everybody's back isn't straight and there was nothing to worry about. For about the same price as bayside's "adjustment", he spend 15 minutes straightening every part of my spine and worked on my muscles. He said it's likely muscle tightness and that I don't even need to come back to see him and I was fine. He was right. My pain went away, much better than bayside could do after two sessions. I also went to UCSFs spine clinic with my X-rays. They told me that scoliosis is when the spine is off by about 10 degrees. Mine was only off by 3-4 and they also said my back looked normal and healthy and some PT would likely remedy the situation and to come back for an MRI if PT doesn't help. Everyone in Bayside was nice and friendly, but my whole experience backed up by two other spine professionals left me extremely disappointed with the scare tactics used to trick people into paying for care that they don't actually need. How someone could run a practice like this kind of integrity is just shocking. I hope this review saves someone's time, money, and stress. read more

I've been coming to Bayside Chiropractic for a few weeks now. The staff and doctors are professional and friendly. I am an 80 yr old retired nurse who has been very active until a back injury a year& a half ago Dr Eva was recommended by a Good friend when I couldnt walk with bavk & leg pain. After a very professional study of my case I was started on treatments 2xweek I began to have relief of pain & was able to walk after just a few treatments i have continued on 1xaweek for past year with occasional small injuries but no return of my original pain or dysability. My partner and I have been patients at Bayside for one year. We just compared my xrays from one year ago to xrays taken last week. I have improved significantly! In one year of weekly sessions, I'm several degrees straighter in both my neck and lower back! Cannot recommend them highly enough. They're professional, warm, & clean, but most importantly, effective! The proof is in the xrays! Thank you! read more

Best chiropractor that I know of! I've been seeing chiropractors for over 10 years. I've had to C6 C7 and C4 C5 disc replacements. I've had a laminectomy and a microdiscectomy. Doctor Ava uses the perfect amount of pressure to adjust the disks, but not put any more strain than is necessary. I've had many chiropractors who use too much force while adjusting. Dr. Ava is a scientist with a spine. She has obtained her PHD, MASTERS in my mind! She supports the local community and is very involved. Family owned business. Anyone with complicated spines should see her. If you're thinking about having surgery, definitely see her first! If I would've known her 10 years ago, I would not have all these surgeries. She doesn't take insurance but, is well worth it! How much is having no pain worth? For me it's priceless. I'll let you decide. Thank your doctor AVA for restoring my mind, body and sole! read more

I had locked up shoulder a few months ago, I found Bayside Chiropractic from my Daughter, And I get treated by Dr. Ly from May until this day, and now my arm can move freely, some day I got treated by Dr.Eva when Dr. Ly is with another patient. They both are very professional. read more

I've been coming to Dr. Eva for many years, the last two on a weekly basis. Over the last few years the group of doctors has grown and both Dr. Lisa and Dr. Tomacini are wonderful too, as well as the staff. The whole place has a healing, friendly, positive vibe. Dr. Eva has changed up my care over the years, consistently introducing new tools and modalities to help me with various issues. But always constant? Dr. Chiu, along with Dr. Lisa Are truly amazing. Very professional, and kind, I have been adjusted here for over 10 years. Lately I have been suffering from severe neck pain . Dr. Eva saved my life. I've met Dr. Eva after having a major pain in my lower back. She provided an ex-ray and analyzed my arthritis right away. None of the other orthopedic doctors/chiropractors I've seen before were able to see this: they didn't catch this development and the cause of my ongoing pain. Dr. Eva sees me three times a week and after a couple months I can finally understand the significance of having a chiropractor. My pain has lessened dramatically. I was a soldier and an athlete and my kneee and back were severely damaged. Since I started working with Dr. Eva, I can feel the major change. Dr. Eva is amazing at reading where there's pain in my body and correcting within a few minutes and I never feel pain from her corrections. She's very experienced and I feel blessed to have stumbled upon her clinic. I would recommend her to anyone with back pain: I continue to see her one to three times a week. Big thank you to Dr.Felisha Truong and Felicia Francisco! read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received. I booked my first appointment with Bayside because of the all the good Yelp reviews. They charge $237 for evaluation plus $80 for x-rays. Dr. Lisa then proceeds to tell me that we will discuss the treatments I will need on my next appointment. This brought me to tears as I did not want to leave the office with the pain that originally brought me there. She then said she can do an adjustment for me but that will be $75 extra. So all together, I paid $392 for an hour that I was there. Expect a lot of stupid questions like did you ever sprain your ankle. I'm 50 years old, of course I've had them sometime in my life. The evaluation/examination took maybe 10 minutes where she checked my alignment. I do not recommend this place. read more

I've visited chiropractors since 8 years old (due to sports). I have probably had 9 different chiropractors through the years as I traveled and hands down Bayside is the absolute best I have ever had. They were recommended by one of our friends out here and my husband and I are so glad we listened! read more

Bayside Chiropractic had a special on for new patients which is all the sign I needed to visit their office after suffering from back and hip pain post-partum and looking for Chiropractic care. It's been 9 months since being a patient of Dr Lisa and Dr Eva's and I couldn't be more grateful. They've taken such great care of me that my overall health has improved immensely. Not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I always leave Bayside feeling amazing. Dr Eva and Dr Lisa and their team truly take your wellbeing to heart and ensure that you get the best possible care. Their admin team is the sweetest, always helpful and caring. The office as well is such a welcoming environment that you'll feel right at home. I'm now on a maintenance plan and can't recommend them enough to anyone in need of preventative care. Thank you so very much Dr Eva and team. You're simply the best! read more

After months of bad posture from working from home, I began getting a pinched nerve in my neck/shoulder area. The pain was awful and I was only able to turn my head with limited mobility. After some time, I decided that I needed to get it fixed. I discovered Bayside Chiropractic through my friend Lisa, who's a chiropractor here, and I was impressed with how inviting the staff was. Lisa in particular has had my trust in handling my chiropractic care for about 2 or so years now, and I couldn't be happier. My pinched nerve has since subsided. Even when Lisa is not in-office, I always feel assured that I will get the care I need. read more

I initially came to Bayside Chiropractic for a pinched nerve in my hip. In just a few appointments the pain was all but gone, and they've been able to keep it away notwithstanding a few long flights, increased exercise, long drives and other stressors. Additionally, I'm now weaning off my migraine medication for the first time in 10 years (!!) and enjoying increased flexibility. Drs. Lisa and Eva are amazing, efficient, and have great bedside manner. They use technology to their advantage to show where to adjust and how much and create a personalized and evolving care plan. The entire office is friendly and professional, very quick and eager to help. Highly recommend! read more

Thought this was a pretty cool outfit after seeing their ad and reviews on Facebook. There was a link to message to set up an appointment which I did and never heard back. Don't offer to take new customers this way only to ignore them. Marketing on FB should be easy to connect patients and services, not with these guys. Not impressed, will spread the word and never use this facility Update: Things happen, I understand. read more

Dr. Eva and her staff are so welcoming. I walked into their office so comfortable. The staff is so friendly and caring. I had chiropractic care in the past but that never fixed my problem. When I met Dr. Eva she explained thoroughly why I had an on and off vertigo. My vertigo issue was corrected by Dr. Eva's care recommendation -- which totally make sense! She supported me with my whole chiropractic journey. They also do frequent evaluations to monitor your progress along the way. I highly recommend this place. Thanks Dr. Chiu and staff. read more

Being recently married, my wife was looking for a new chiropractor, close to the house. Bayside Chiropractic is within walking distance. It turns out that Dr. Chiu is very different than other chiropractors my wife has seen. Dr. Chiu takes an approach of getting the entire picture and making sure the results are going to make a long term difference. She is very kind, professional and speaks Manderin, which in my wife's case is a great thing! I would recommend Bayside Chiropractic and Dr. Eva Chiu to anyone looking to achieve real, long term results, not just quick relief. read more

The actual chiropractor was fine. Business practices are a little questionable. The young man at the front desk was nice until I started asking about my coverage. My fault for not checking myself before I went there. I thought I was getting a deal, the Facebook deal. Then I see on yelp I could have gotten a better deal, a check in offer. Would have been nice to know that while I was there. I actually paid much more than I expected, $78 dollars more. And when I asked the young man when I was paying he responded that they were not in network. He tells me I don't talk about my coverage with him, the doctor talks to me about it. That makes zero sense. I gave him my information including insurance card, why didn't he look it up when I was there? Now that I know they not in network I will pay a lot more and get fewer sessions. That's okay. I found another chiropractor who is in network an hour later. The office staff let me know she will have all my coverage info before my appointment begins so that I can make an informed decision. I suggest the Bayside staff be clear about all possible costs before the exam begins. I hope I still get the x rays I paid for in full! read more
