Lemon poppyseed muffin and Sunday Brunch Latte
Elizabeth C.

What a cute little coffee shop. I've been following the place on Facebook and have been dying to stop in. I live in NJ and frequently come to NC to visit my sister. I always love trying new places. This was on my spits to get this time. We came early before a trip to the mall for a pick me up of a Sunday Brunch Latte. Yum! I usually opt for a seasonal flavor but I thought this one sounded yummy. It did not disappoint at all. I also had a lemon poppyseed muffin which was so so. The woman behind the counter asked if I wanted it warmed which I declined. I'm betting it was better heated up a little. Oh well, my bad. The entire vice of the leave was so nice though. Plenty of seating and very nicely set up. There were products to purchase and it just looked like an all around cool place to chill out and relax. Definitely coming back next time!

Frozen Mocha with no caffeine

I love thanks a latte so much!! All the workers there are so sweet and almost always compliment you or make conversation with you! The mood of the coffee shop is so cute and classy! I love it! I got a frozen mocha with no caffeine and it was amazing! Totally recommend this coffee shop whether you just want a coffee or you need to study for school. The environment is amazing!

Ube Latte

I've always a loved this place but today was THE day because of their Ube Latte. Finally a place that is willing to serve different flavors! Bravo!

The service was very nice, the food was delightful I would recommend a smoothie. There is a cute interior too but, - warning this store is obviously Christian. So if that makes you a little uncomfortable like it did to me, maybe Thanks a Latte is not the best choice. I feel like the religiousness of this store was not represented well enough on Yelp so I want to give others a fair warning. But it was very cute

Cutie place with farm tables!

Very adorable coffee and gift shop. A coworker recommended this place and I'm so happy I asked her. I really enjoyed my stop in and the latte. I liked the random products they had like one for "Anyone with a face!" The latte was very tasty and not too sweet.

You'll see a large parking lot and start to ask yourself what all this church stuff has to do with coffee. Or, for that matter, all the sports and activity resources. Well, they don't. Serenity is a coffee-getting SPACE inside a SPACE that offers all kinds of other things within its SPACE, like a game room, among others. Calling it a "coffee shop" is going too far. But very convenient if you're craving caffeine and don't feel like driving out of your way to reach Ugly Mug or deal with the maddening weekend conditions at Cultivate. (Speaking of which, they use Cultivate beans here. So that's a win.) It's charmless, tucked inside an echo-laden, hall of many shades of gray and not a window in sight. Huge and accommodating, with work tables rocking multiple outlets per person (!), there are good things to say, for sure. Like the barista with the kind demeanor. The churchy feel is pretty overwhelming. If you're not into that or have a problem with it, think again? Idk, it's obvious that the coffee aspect rings as an afterthought, what with everything else going on. If you're looking for a coffee house situation, you won't find it here. But if you want an uber-quiet, enormously spacious, wholly uninteresting place to work, give Serenity Brews a shot. Fair warning, though - the wifi is paltry, so don't bring any demanding work.

They also serve pastries from a local bakery. The environment is a little different than your typical coffee shop, but I appreciate that as there is ample seating compared to some other shops in the area. They also provide toys, puzzles, and books for the kids tagging along. Glad to have this spot in our community!

I came in the evening and had to circle around to find somewhere to park. The business is spacious. When I came in there was a large party inside and an employee asked the group to move to the side so that I could get to the front counter area. The employees that I engaged with were friendly and helpful. I sampled a few ice cream flavors before deciding on the banana pudding ice cream in a cone. The ice cream was amazing and was also recommended by the clerk. I would definitely get it again. I also got a brownie since all of the other pastries had sold out for the day. It was soft but something was a little off about the taste. Maybe the edges were a little too overcooked. I would come back for more ice cream.
