Even smoothie places have been able to do so. BOLT shares a counter with Fat Cat Ice Cream, who makes the ice cream in house. The fact that they have a posted notice writing off all liability for cross contamination without giving customers an opportunity for discussion was a first experience for us, and is quite disheartening as someone who would've loved to support local. It also makes me question the processes in the kitchen - if we are so able to find many food/drink places who guarantee no cross contamination while having several of those allergens on their menu, it is curious to me that a place that shares a kitchen with a separate business couldn't seem to do so.
