I only come to Olive Garden under very specific circumstances... and those circumstances are…read moreusually called a hangover. There's just something about unlimited breadsticks, soup, and pasta that feels like emotional support in restaurant form. It's not fancy, it's not trendy, but when you're questioning your life choices from the night before, Olive Garden understands you. 10/10.

So let's start off with the service. We had a party of 5 and they put us at a four seat table and…read morescrunched us in. I would understand if they were super busy and didn't have any other tables available but they had a lot of tables available. We ended up asking to be seated at a bigger table and the waitress said they had to ask. After asking the manager, we were seated at a bigger table so we could all fit comfortably. After ordering, the service was really slow. It took forever to receive the breadsticks and salad. Once we finally received it, I feel like they wanted us to finish the whole salad as it took forever for them to bring us our meal. Now here comes the food. My meal was luke warm (maybe it was sitting in the back for a while and no one came to deliver it?). I got the steak and shrimp bucatini. On the special it says steak cooked medium but when I received it, it was waaaaay over cooked. Super dry along with the shrimp. My brother got the soup and all of our dishes were delivered and they forgot about my brother's soup. When he finally got it, it was hot but there was no flavor. The breadsticks were good and the salad was good but that's about it. Pretty disappointed in them as Olive Garden is usually one of my favorites! The ambiance of the place was nice and rustic. It gave intimate vibes but also a nice place to take your family. They have a bar area in the front with TVs. The chairs weren't the best, but also weren't the worst. Overall disappointing visit. If I go back, hopefully my next review will be a positive one. We shall see

Carly, our excellent server, was prompt, friendly and as knowledgeable as she could be for a new employee to the establishment. My guess? Art probably established an excellent real Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and hopefully homemade pasta. He has since passed away, and I am sorry to say, whatever authenticity went with him. The vibe is a bar pizza joint, and I hope they serve a good pizza pie. The linguine and clams (I asked if it was a garlic sauce) was loaded with clams. That is where the dish ended. It had linguine noodles and a sauce made up of clam juice butter and lemon. I could not taste garlic, so she brought some raw garlic to toss in. The lasagna tasted like canned meat sauce poured over a bland dish of pasta. The chicken noodle soup had tasty chicken, but the overload of oregano was too much, we couldn't eat it and were not offered to have it removed from the bill. The Caesar salad was mayo heavy, could taste lemon and had sliced Parmesan on top. Tiramisu was not umptious either. For the cost of the meal, I will pass. We will try a pizza in the future, hopefully it is their saving grace. Oh, they should learn how to make pasta as well, instead of buying boxed pre made.

My wife and I ordered from Sal's Pizzeria for the first time today and we had a pretty solid meal…read more We picked up a large BBQ Chicken Luau pizza -- BBQ sauce, mozzarella, chicken, jalapeño, bacon, pineapple, red onion ($32), an order of their pesto twists ($12) with a side of marinara, an arugula salad -- arugula, Bosc pear, Parmesan, lemon shallot dressing ($13), and an order of four small cannolis ($8). After phoning in our order, we were told the wait would be roughly 25 minutes -- pretty fast in my opinion, considering we were ordering around peak dinner hour at 6:00 p.m. I really appreciate how generous they are with the pizza toppings here. There was not a single slice without multiple pieces of each unique topping. The crust here is thin, crispy, and holds up well to the abundance of BBQ sauce on the pizza. If you like spicy, you'll definitely enjoy this pizza flavor -- the jalapeño are hot! Moving on to the side dishes, I thought the pesto twists sounded really good, but they fell a bit short in terms of texture: the twists were not as fluffy as I thought and some thought they were a bit too salty. The arugula salad had a solid variety of ingredients. I liked the saltiness the shaved Parmesan provided and sweetness provided by the pears. Definitely a salad I'd get again. Definitely consider getting two salads if you have more than a few people in your group you're sharing with. Last but not least, I enjoyed the outside shell of the cannoli, but multiple people in my group pointed out that the filling had some grittiness to it. As somebody who's only had cannolis a handful of times in their life, I don't feel the most qualified to offer commentary on the cannoli here except that I liked that it wasn't over the top sweet. Overall, I would happily pick up a pizza from Sal's Pizzeria again. However, instead of ordering so many sides, I would probably pick up a second pizza, since their pizza flavors are all so interesting.

And she does that through food and hand-picked dishes that you will never uncover without a guide. Even though locations may change per tour, our group tasted a mix of cultures and got some stories behind the dishes, the restaurants, and their owners. Few examples - * Russian cuisine - Herring with a pickled onion on fresh bread * Indian street food - I was surprised how much I enjoyed this vegan street snack - I would have never ordered anything without meat, and I dislike spinach, but the fried spinach snack was mind-blowingly good. * Mexican - Quesadilla with plantain. Again, no meat but it was soooooo good. * Chinese - Glazed Pork and pork-filled bun I won't spoil the surprise for some of the other locations. And more, and more - Total of about 7-8 places. You won't stay hungry, guaranteed. The walk itself is not challenging; there are no hills to overcome, even though it's San Francisco. Don't wait - Just go!

This hidden gem winery is tucked away in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. It is absolutely gorgeous and provides an intimate and elevated experience that is definitely worth experiencing! If you are looking for an elevated experience in wine country, look no further! There is a garden area that overlooks the vineyards that we enjoyed during our food and wine pairing and the views were spectacular. They also have a cave as well as a RTV experience if you are looking for a unique private experience away from it all. The service at this winery is excellent! Some of the tastings are with Mary Roy herself and these experiences are extra special since she is the owner, chef, and winemaker. She is an incredible woman that excels at everything she does. Thankfully for me, that includes exceptional wine and food pairings! The food is flavorful and phenomenal and they even have bees onsite where the honey is used to make their amazing chocolates! Had a GREAT time here a few weeks ago. We got together a group of 10 of us for an afternoon trip…read morewith both wine and olive oil tasting. I don't normally drink wine but came for the olive oil and the experience and it did not disappoint! I also eventually changed my mind that red wine can be good:) We were seated indoors and Edd gave us the rundown of what we'd be tasting for the afternoon complete with stories and lots of fun facts. (I now look at any bottles that say "cold pressed" with some light skepticism since it's clearly only written there for marketing purposes!) We ordered a selection of the panini sandwiches, the burrata and butternut squash salad, and the charcuterie board. The fire cheese was delicious and the spread was perfect. Throughout lunch, Edd brought us different wines to taste and by the end we were most definitely sold on the Stone Soup (the red version). The olive oil tasting was so much fun. First of all the bread was so delicious. And then we tasted about 15 (?) different olive oils or vinegars. The raspberry, lemon, and garlic ones were clear favorites. My personal favorites were the garlic and sage. Even though it was a bit of a rainy & cloudy day, the views from the patio were beautiful. We finished our wine out by the fire pit outside, and now I really need to come back during the summertime when the skies are more clear for the full experience. I left with lots of olive oil and great Christmas gifts for the family. The four piece olive oil sets are perfect for that and I brought one home for my family and we did our own inspired mini taste testing (I still miss Trattore's bread tho). 10/10 recommend and yes I definitely want to come back for the summer views and this pizza oven I keep reading in all the other reviews:))
