My daughters and i had such a great time celebrating my birthday with a tour through the downtown streets of Napa on customized, dressed-up, bedazzled motorized carts. Karen was beyond friendly and made the experience unforgettable. She was helpful and patient with us and the various peiple that stopped us along our tour. She took a bunch of pics and videos of our experience (can't wait to share those). She took us to some of Napa's iconic spots, and we even stopped by a bar for a celebratory shot! I highly recommend this adventure -- can't wait to do it again!

Had a great time riding around Napa for my birthday. So much fun, easy to ride and very amusing guides. Would do it again.

    Agave shots were delicious!

We were a group 6 ladies. It was an awesome experience. Karin and Nancy were the best hosts. They kept us laughing and we all had such a great time. They took lots of pictures and videos that they shared with us. It was very refreshing that they did not ask us to buy the pictures like so many businesses do now. The scooters cute as can be and seem to be well maintained. The "tour" was well planned. None of us knew there is a 9/11 tribute in Napa until this tour. Looking forward to going back! Next time we'll do the taco/margarita tour!

It's clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in what she's created. Our guide James was fantastic: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and great at making the tour both educational and entertaining. He shared fascinating details about the wetlands ecosystem, local wildlife, and the history of the area, all while keeping the energy light and fun. The wetlands setting itself is breathtaking: a peaceful, scenic route that feels completely different from the usual Napa wine country experience. We tried one thing off the menu that was chosen by the tour guides. I was skeptical because I'm picky when it comes to food but everything was so good. The segways were so fun too. Definitely would do it again.

Russian River Railbikes is part of the Golden Gate Railroad Museum, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to maintain, restore and run historically significant railroad equipment from the San Francisco Bay area. This is an activity that you can really do at any age and they are kid friendly. One of the guides stated that they have had someone in a car seat before (they have seat belts on them similar to a car) and a couple in their 80's has gone multiple times and they arrange ahead of time to have two guides on the railbike to help with pedaling. This truly is a great adventure for all ages! It's about 1 1/2 or two hours total and you will pass by a vineyard and farm. You will also go through a tunnel and stop half way where you will get out and stretch your legs. You can relax at a shaded table, dip your toes in the Russian River, or view a collapsed tunnel at this half way point. You will also have the option when you book this to purchase lunch ahead of time that you can enjoy at the half way point if you would like. It's recommended that you wear comfortable clothes, wear sunscreen, and bring any water and snacks with you on the railbike. We each brought a water bottle that came in very handy. You will have plenty of time afterwards to explore Cloverdale. An all around great experience that I highly recommend!

Attendees become paranormal investigators during the tour, given several tools to track paranormal activity (spiritual dowsing rods, and a ghost hunting meter that measures electric signals (as ghosts give off electric signals). We made about 4-5 different stops that are either haunted or have affiliation with death, and Devin helped the group communicate with ghosts during some of the stops, combining storytelling with interesting historical events in Napa. We had a combination of skeptics and believers in our group, including at least one witch. I, of course, came for the entertainment, getting to talk about serial killers, learn a bit about history, and also get in a few laughs as Devin brings the humor as well. I did learn some new things, such as the difference between a ghost and a spirit, possible origins of the terms "lobbying" and "pulling my leg", and that Cole's Chop House (where my bf and I had dinner earlier that day) was formerly a mortuary. We ended at the courthouse, not where we started the tour, with the story of the last public execution in California which took place here in Napa. Overall, we had a fun time, and it's an unconventional way to tour the streets of Napa, and definitely enjoyable if you like ghost stories.

This building is a fine example of late 19 century "Italianate Victorian " architecture. In 1887, a wealthy gentleman from Minneapolis by the name of Edward H. Winship had local architect " Luther M. Turton" design plans for the building. The most notable feature of the building was it's octagon tower, which was damaged and later removed after the devastating 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. The turreted tower you see today was reinstalled during the renovation and restoration of the building in 1985. Thanks to the restoration efforts of developer " Ging Chan " architect "Dan Paterson ", and builder " William Cook", the Winship Building has won the covenant " Napa Chamber of Commerce Civic Improvement Award for Historic Preservation " and was placed in the National Registry of Historic Places in 1977. The street level store front was first occupied by druggist "Springsteen" and then soon bought out by "Levinsons Drug Store" in 1897 and operated in this location for the next 80 years ! Today the building is home to one of Napa's most popular coffee roasters " Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Co." So if you ever happen to be in the City of Napa, sit back , sip some wine and take in its amazing history ! I will surely be back soon ! Thanks for reading !

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.

My wife was adamant in wanting to do the Sonoma foodie tour since she had never been in Sonoma before. Sherry kept in constant contact with my wife by email & text as she was our same tour guide back then. In fact she called her the day before & expressed concern of establishments not fully opened due to covid. So she managed to persuade my wife to do the foodie tour in Napa again instead. Maybe bc my wife told her she was wearing a long dress. Yup that did it! Sherry had started us at the infamous Oxbow public market with taking pics of the 4 of us in front. Yes that was a plus bc how often do you vacation & you do a quick selfie of everywhere you go? Ugh...all the time! LOL Sherry was informative, personable & quite the leader for our tour. She was sensitive to our needs & we totally enjoyed our six different stops walking leisurely from Oxbow market to throughout downtown Napa & back to the market. We had even walked by their farmers market which was on a Tuesday but unfortunately they were in the process of closing up since it was already noon. Our tour was a full three hours & we were totally satiated. What was quite enjoyable was we were with another couple whom we already knew in advance. Supposedly there was supposed to be 6 of us but that third couple mistakenly came the day before. Haha my wife said it was bc the Mercury was in retrograde! This foodie tour was ultimately like our own private tour! Yay! It was also to celebrate my wife's birthday. She had the time of her life. Thank you Sherry! Hope to go on your foodie tour in Sonoma one day soon! Book your next foodie tour here in Napa with Sherry! I highly recommend her.
