My son and I had a beautiful day on this kayak tour and Justin was great! Definitely recommend spending a day on the Napa river kayak tour.

great way to get some fresh air, a bit of paddling, and a lot of fascinating local history. I'd recommend for any person curious about Napa conservation and history.

I didn't even know you could go paddle boarding in Napa! I'm not from the area so I kind of forgot there's a Napa river, but wow, what a beautiful and easy place to go stand up paddle boarding (also, a really great covid/friendly activity!) We made a reservation for 2 people for 2 hours on Sunday and arrived at the dock. Per person it was $53. One thing that was slightly confusing on their website was that it looked like you could do 1 hour, but the minimum was actually 2 hours. Parking was really easy on the street. One of my friends brought her own paddle board, which is allowed as well. I loved that this place is right on the dock, so you don't have to carry your paddle board anywhere, which is what I've done at other locations. We ended up using the full time and enjoyed every minute of it! The river is really calm and easy to paddle on, and the weather was perfect, plus the views of downtown Napa are really serene and beautiful. Would definitely come here and use this company again!

This was a great Father's Day tour. First time kayaking and it was fun. They gave a few tips, get you ready and help out if needed. The tour guide was funny. He liked to include everyone on the tour. I would do this again!!

Justin was a great guide, and the Napa River is calm and easy for a beginner to navigate on the kayak. Highly recommend.

My sister and I decided to rent bikes with Napa Valley Bike Tours, and I am so glad that we did. Mackenzie, Kelly, and the other ladies we met upon arriving to the shop greeted us with so much enthusiasm and kindness! Before we even stepped foot into the shop, our bikes were already conveniently sitting outside the shop, ready to go. Everything is so well organized from the tools they provide (i.e. Storage bag on the bike, water bottle holder, bike map) to the instructions they give. Mackenzie gave us the run-down on which trails and Wineries we might want to visit during our ride which we appreciated greatly. The views and the vibes you get while biking on the scenic trail along Dry Creek Road are so worth it. I would highly recommend booking with NVBT as you will not regret it. Pro tip: For an even better ride, I would recommend adding a gel seat for $5 more if you plan to rent a comfort cruiser, especially if you are 200+ lbs. ;)

The bikes and helmets were clean and in excellent condition. They stored and recharged the bikes overnight which was a nice option. Cameron was especially helpful in getting us set up and going on the first day. We used the bikes to tour wineries and selected the wine and dining spots based on the bike routes they provided. It was an amazing lifetime experience!!

I have read several reviews good and bad. My observation is this is a high end bike store that only…read morecarries quality stuff. Further, the work itself is stellar and their is no doubt in my mind the owner Duke has a very high skill set in regard to knowing bikes, bike equipment, and repair. I have a Wilier that had serious crack in the carbon and was over five (5) years old. It took a while to find the needed part and after much back and forth Duke did take the time to locate the OEM part in Italy. He did not take the cheap way out. He performed the needed fixes and found other problems on the bike. The bottom line is the bike came back feeling new. I also bought a pair of shoes. Once again River Velo does not carry cheap stuff and I was given at least five (5) viable options. I have a weird non-standard foot and Duke found the perfect fit. Guys and gals, this is not a conventional bike store. The guy is busy as "hell" for a reason, so he may not always get back to you right away. However, be very aware this guy and his shop have high integrity. I live an hour and a half from his shop (he specializes in Wilier and other high end Italian bikes) and after being educated by Duke and watching what was done to my bikes I don't want anyone else touching my Babies. I will make the drive. Forget all the niceties and usual flowery customer service stuff. If you want to buy a high end quality machine this is the place. If you need shoes or other bike accessories this is the place. If you need service on your bike this is the place. Just have patience. The store is super busy and full of a lot of customers because they excel at what they do. If any of the things I stated were incorrect this would not be the case. In any event, this is the best bike store I have been in and whole heartily endorse doing business with this place.

If you're planning to bike around Sonoma, do yourself a favor and rent from Sonoma Valley Bikes…read more This place is fantastic. We booked our bikes online for two days of riding, and when we showed up Emily already had everything dialed in and ready to go. But the real magic was the itinerary she created for us. She mapped out two days of riding that were basically the perfect Sonoma combo: beautiful routes, great lunch stops, and wineries along the way. We followed her plan exactly and it felt like having a local cycling guide in our pocket. Amazing roads, gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and wine stops at just the right moments (very important cycling fuel, obviously). Huge thank you to Emily and the team at Sonoma Valley Bike Tours & Rentals for making our trip so easy and so much fun. We're already looking forward to coming back and doing it again! ‍

He said we could do a more history centric tour, or winery centric tour. We chose historic. First, we stopped off at historic House of General Vallejo, then we rode to Buena Vista winery. We had a wine tasting there where Antwon was super-accommodating for my husbands very specific wine tastes. Then we traveled throughout Vineyards to go through Bartholomew park and back to the Square. We had an olive oil tasting at Figone's on the plaza which was delicious. We had excellent weather and the day couldn't have been better.

There are not enough stars for this review!…read more Every bit of this outfit is outstanding. The staff is friendly, informative and patient. The equipment is ideal for the area, with plenty off choices for more intense rides. The options for "trails" are urban for the local area, and north and south for the Wineries. We had a package deal that has a guide for the first day and on our own for the second day. Our guide, Taylor, was way cool. A local farmer/roadie/ San Fran local, with keen intel on the farming/bio-dynmic/ foodie/ family history. He clearly has a great history and relationship with the folks we stopped at and every bit was personable and flexible. He had an excellent read on the strength and weakness of the group. Overall, we did a gentle 20 miles on cushie bikes and drank a touch more wine then is good for willfully concurring the hills. We had a group of 6 and took a north loop that peaked at Quivira with the most spectacular bio-dynamic gardens. I mean bees, pigs, chickens and just the coolest raised beds I have ever seen. Seriously, I could happily retire and intern here. Our second day, was on our own on the southern route, me thinks just about 23 miles. My Aunt made it to Porter Creek (not on purpose) but I peaked at Thomas George Estate. We followed recommendations and lunched at Arista. Worthy!!! This is another heaven on Earth spot. It is not over rated. My only small complaint, on the second day (far beyond the control of the good folks at Wine County Bikes was the aggressive construction truck drivers. Mind you...there is a consistent "you're going to get hurt bad if you come off the road" with no clear bike lane. With that said the greater majority of cars, albeit fast, are very good about dealing with "tourist bike riders". Highly recommended!!!!!!
