    Lychee Martini

Service was exceptional & speedy! The Bangkok Roll was bangin'! Other favs: lychee martini, steamed gyoza, & miso soup. It was the perfect comfort food for this rainy afternoon with friends.

Terrible Thai food, very sweet with no spice or fresh flavor. The "spicy" beef salad which should be made with fresh ingredients was premade with what seemed like canned tomatoes and not spicy in the slightest. Tom yum tasted like water, the blandest I have ever had. Green curry was salvageable with lots of pepper flakes added but the sauce was very thin and sweet. I visited Thailand last year and this food is an embarrassment to the cuisine, definitely will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

We took my mother out for her birthday dinner, and we're not disappointed. The outdoor dining area was open and had a nice light breeze. It was nice to be able to access the outdoor dining without having to walk through the inside of the restaurant. The food portions were generous, but not overwhelming. I got the shrimp tempura with rock shrimp on the side. It was fresh and delicious, and surprisingly very filling. The rest of my party also enjoyed their dinner. Service was prompt, and our waitress was attentive. It definitely felt like a celebratory meal. With the light breeze, it was very pleasant to dine on the patio. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful service and ambiance. I enjoyed having a pianist play in the background. Highlights: The Bangkok shrimp was unique and outstanding! Would definitely recommend trying. Miso soup was great. Unfavorable Notes: The eel sauce had a strange taste (we tasted anise). I did not enjoy the bell pepper in the Tom yum, I have had it from other restaurants that did not add it to theirs. But the broth was still good! Overall great experience! Would go back again and get the Bangkok shrimp.

Solid Asian spot in Manalapan that has a bit of each Asian cuisine, ranging from sushi to pad Thai to stir fry. My mom wanted to bring us as she knew we loved Asian. I had the lychee martini, which was okay, and we shared the dim sum among 3 of us to start. That was okay too. Then, my sister and I shared 3 rolls, all of which were good but nothing special. Overall, I would say it's a solid meal for FL sushi/Asian cuisine. It's no frills and not expensive.

Cute restaurant. Hostess was not very friendly... The server was nice but hard to get... I love Thai food, so this was not very good... Drunken Noodle was super salty, and why is it so dark... The peanut sauce on the salad was not good, neither of us liked it... Coconut Shrimp was ok, but I didn't like the sauce, but hubby loved it, so that's all that matters since it was his meal. I should have known better when we didn't see a single Asian person, but we were hungry...

Whole steamed snapper with black bean sauce.

What kind of fish do they offer on Friday night, for the all you can eat?

Sadly I do not know but the food is always good there.

Patio , tent or garden area?

They have a couch with a chair and coffee table outside in the front, but it's more of a waiting area vs. outdoor dining. The restaurant is in an outdoor strip mall to help paint a picture.

After a quick Yelp search and a TikTok deep dive to confirm the vibes, I found the spot. I walked in around 6 pm for an early dinner and grabbed an open seat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by the two guys behind the bar who were so welcoming and brought me a complimentary cucumber salad to start. It was fresh and tangy and honestly the perfect reset after a long day. Of course I ordered a lychee martini right away. They make sake-tinis here so they are actually made with sake instead of vodka and it was so freaking good. Slightly sweet, super smooth and definitely on the stronger side in the BEST way. I started with the yellowtail with serrano. The fish was insanely fresh and buttery!! The serrano gave it just the right amount of heat without overpowering it. I also ordered a few pieces of nigiri which came in pairs: yellowtail, tuna belly, and salmon. Every single one just melted in my mouth. You could really taste the quality. I tried the salmon and avocado hand roll too and this was one of my favorite bites of the night. The salmon was so silky and the avocado perfectly creamy. The seaweed had that fresh snap to it...I love that it adds a little texture and saltiness that balances everything out. Handrolls are so simple but so satisfying!! At one point I saw them making crispy tuna rice in front of me and immediately had to order it. Literally the best crispy tuna rice I've ever had. The rice was perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside but still soft inside, topped with spicy tuna that was fresh, flavorful and the perfect spice level. For dessert, the guys behind the bar suggested the donut balls and I'm so glad they did. Warm, fluffy little rounds coated in cinnamon sugar with icing on the side for dipping. They were BEYOND! What really made the night though was the atmosphere. So many regulars coming in and out, all greeted warmly by the owner, who was working nonstop behind the sushi bar the entire time. There was such a strong neighborhood feel. Even the guests seemed to know each other. They even had live music playing outside. It was a whole vibe! I left completely full and a little tipsy off my two martinis, smiling to myself. One of the best meals I've had in a while. This place is special.

We had a wonderful lunch here…read more They weren't busy when we came in. Just a couple other tables were occupied. One room is the regular dining room, and the other is a huge sushi bar taking up the length of the restaurant. The restaurant is a Korean restaurant with Sushi and Dim Sum and a few other Chinese meals. The regular menu is large. Plus, if you are there during the week, ask for their lunch menu. My husband ordered their sushi bento box from the lunch menu. It came with a house salad with ginger dressing and miso soup to start. The salad was crisp, and he liked the ginger dressing. The miso soup was served hot and had pieces of tofu in it. The bento box had 5 pieces of sushi and a half hamachi roll (he could have also chosen a half tuna instead). He said the fish was very fresh and delicious. I started with an avocado salad -- from the main menu. It had a lot of slices of avocado on top of the lettuce with cucumbers and tomato. There was a vinegar-based dressing on top of the salad. It was good, but I preferred the ginger dressing which I got a bit of on the side. Then I ordered a few items from the Dim Sum section of the menu. I started with their turnip cake. It was perfectly cooked on the outside and soft and creamy inside. It's one of my favorites and usually if they do this one well, then all the others are good. I'd wanted to try their shrimp stuffed eggplant or the crispy shrimp with taro but they didn't have any of these in house. So I had their classic steamed crystal shrimp dumplings. I liked these as well. We had very good and friendly service throughout. We even got a taste of two of their kimchi's as a comp offering. There are a number of Korean dishes and combos with different soups and grilled meats and fishes that we'd like to try. I know we will be back here -- I'm hoping that it is sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately they didn't have Uni or any of the fish bellies. The chef said they couldn't buy them bc they're brand new and don't have the customers yet. Hopefully they'll speculate soon, bc people aren't going to be happy when they do show us and several top offerings are unavailable. I will definitely be back and I look forward to trying Korean entrees and dim sum soon. Ambience is nice and comfortable.

For mains, the Beef Bibimbap was great especially during a cooler night. It's a rice bowl served on a sizzling bowl, topped with seasoned beef, vegetables, and egg, and once you mix everything together, you get a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors in every bite. The Soon Tofu Jigae came out hot and bubbling. It is a rich, warming stew made with soft silken tofu and a flavorful broth that's slightly spicy and incredibly comforting. Every single one of the employees from owners (Mina and Chef Taka) to chefs to servers to hostesses were very welcoming and friendly. They welcome you with big smiles on their faces that are contagious and instantly puts you in a great mood. Anyway allow me to cut to the chase and get to the food. We were seated at the KBBQ table so for the KBBQ, we ordered 2 Wagyu picanha 4oz, 2 Briskets, and 1 Snowflake Short Ribs. We were also allowed to order different assorted sushi pieces from Chef Taka who was kind enough to prepare 3 pieces of each fish to accommodate 3 people. It was money well spent for the quantity and quality of Uni and A5 Wagyu as well as other fresh and high quality sushi pieces. My fiancee and my mom who was visiting us from Korea were a huge fan of Uni (Sea Urchin) and their cravings were more than satisfied! We also had their Korean Steamed Egg which was perfectly seasoned and their Yukgaejang, which was served boiling hot and taste out of this world! Yum! Our server was TK today and he was amazing, attentive, and witty. He kept on checking up on us to make sure we had everything we needed, was very polite, and kept us laughing with his witty remarks each time he came by our table. Thank you TK for such a wonderful and extraordinary dining experience! This restaurant is under new ownership and management as of 1 year ago.
