We have been here twice.. the 1st time, the food was average and a little pricier for Asian food but with limited Asian food options, we decided to give it another try. Big mistake. We ordered delivery and they were over an hour late. When we called to ask for a status update, the guy said we had to pickup (even though we paid for delivery fee and tip in advanced). I've eaten at some of the best Thai places in San Francisco, The Bay Area and surprising in Flagstaff Arizona and realize how lucky one is to find a really good one. Mediocrity seems to be the rule and i'm okay with the average fair. This place however was beyond the pale and potentially put my health at risk. The dish, Pad Woodsen, i ordered for lunch today was horrible. It was obvious the Wok my dish was cooked in was much too hot and burnt the oils and sauces it was cooked in. After a small taste (the smell was atrocious) this was confirmed and I requested the dish be redone however it was even worse the second time around causing me to spit out and rinse my mouth from the water in my glass. I was there with a colleague from work and they took my order off the bill but that is not the point, It's my health! It is so disrespectful and egregious serving potentially dangerous food to trusting and unsuspecting customers. How can one be sure it was even cooking oil or trust them with their health? Whom ever was the cook for my dish is not qualified, or worse, to be in any kitchen! I may still yet report this place to the health department. Here is a blurb about the possible harm of cooking and eating while burning or using burnt oils and such. Beware! "When an oil is heated past its smoke point, it generates toxic fumes and free radicals which are extremely harmful to your body. WOW! I stopped in here for lunch and was blown away by everything! The dining room was really well decorated. It felt very homey and rustic. Please save yourself from ordering here! I read mixed reviews so I decided to give it a try. I love Thai and eat it a lot. This was my first time ordering from here because I am recovering from back surgery at a family member's house. This was hands down the worst Asian food I've ever had. Portions were not an issue like I read in other reviews, but the food was awful. The spring rolls tasted like they put an entire black pepper shaker in them. I ordered the Pad se ew for me and my daughter, and it was so bad I couldn't swallow the bite I took. My daughter could not either. There was no sweetness at all like people have mentioned. It was bitter, and the chicken tasted old. I had a side of fried rice as well, and it strangely tasted like fish. This place is so cute!! My mother and I were excited to try it out so we stopped by around 6pm a Saturday. There weren't many others dining in, however they seemed to be doing a steady take-out business. If I'm being nice, I suppose that affected our experience because the service was surprisingly slow and kind of awkward. The ambiance was also a bit off because the music kept cutting out between pop hits and complete silence... hopefully that's been addressed :) Anyway, the food was pretty good. We split an order of the fried chive dumplings; these were OK but not what we expected... they turned out to be fried cubes (no dumpling skin? what do I know) that were really mushy on the inside. For our mains we got chicken pad curry and tofu raad na. The flavors on these were yummy as expected, though I expected more egg on my pad curry based on experiences at other thai places. Absolutely amazing food! My boyfriend and I order food from there all the time and every time it's amazing. The first time We went to the restaurant was a few days ago and I just want to say it is the absolute cutest! It reminds me of a little farm house and I love that style more than anything. Food is nothing special and I feel like servings were pretty small for the price. I don't even remember anything from what we ordered and my husband ordered a lot for a party of 5. Thai taste along Sudley has been our go-to spot in the area and will still be. Even Mum Mum is a better option than this place. It is not a bad place but they do not offer anything that stands out and other places like Thai Taste or Mum Mum serve better tasting Thai food. Stoppped in for lunch after hitting the habitat for humanity restore and was pretty pleased. I liked they accommodated my special order for my garden rolls. The rolls were fresh and pretty tasty. I also had the eggplant dish with tofu and chicken. It was a large serving with just enough heat to give it good flavor and make you sniffle a bit. The service was good and the ambience was chill. I had no idea this place was here! I was looking around on Yelp and there it popped! My fiance and I stopped in one night for a quick dinner. The ambiance is lovely. It has a modern feel with a down home vibe... and super comfy chairs. We had the duck rolls to start, they were delicious and flavorful, the duck wasn't dry and it had just the right amount of hoisin sauce without making it too sweet. I had the Pad Woosen, rice noodles with veggies in a soy based sauce. It was delicious. Perfect ratio of noodles and veggies and the portion was enough to have lunch the following day. My fiance was a bit more adventurous and ordered the goat curry. The flavor was fantastic but the goat was really dried out and was a bit more like eating jerky. None the less, he finished it all. We've ordered takeout from there a few times as well. The salads and panang curry we've ordered have rivaled some of the highest rated Thai restaurants in DC. The staff is delightful and you can tell that they are passionate about their restaurant and their recipes. We recently moved to Manassas from Herndon and have struggled to find a good Thai restaurant. We thought we found one but after tonight we will not be eating here or ordering food from here again. After having food delivered and not tipping the delivery guy he decided to stand at my door and lecture me on my tipping responsibilities. While I normally do tip I didnt have the cash I assumed I had. Regardless I do NOT need a lecture on tipping. Your job is a choice and customer service keeps customers coming back. I will not be purchasing food from them again. UPDATE: So after calling Grub Hub to report the driver I was told it was the restaurant's driver. When the agent called the restaurant to see if they wanted to offer a discount they said "No, but we will come back and pick up the food and then issue a refund." I was quite shocked by this as there was a time I ordered from this place 2 - 3 times a week. read more

This place is really good. It is hard to find consistently good Thai food in Manassas or even in Prince William County. Thai Tyme is the only reason I venture over to that shopping center. My boyfriend and I typically get take out from here. I am not sure if they are now offering delivery services, but hopefully sometime soon. We've tried the basil fried rice, duck noodle soup, beef noodle soup, duck rolls, beef fried rice, shrimp pad thai, drunken noodles, and sesame beef. Everything is delicious. I can't say anything negative. Service, décor, and food all wonderful. I brought my boyfriend and parents here last weekend. The crabmeat wonton and chicken Satay were cooked very nicely and came with sauces that accommodated the food very well. The main course was excellent! I got the crispy beef dinner and my boyfriend got the drunken noodles. Both were good but I can not say enough about that crispy beef. It was incredible! Dessert was mango sticky rice. I decided to leave another review because I have to reiterate just how AMAZING the service is here. I have been a regular at this restaurant for awhile. The other day I decided to try a new dish they had, the softshell crab. The flavor was great but softshell crab just isn't for me. That said, without me saying anything, they noticed that I was just picking at my crab and I was immediately offered a new dish of my choice. I was so impressed by how attentive the server and owner were. This recent experience has cemented my loyalty to them as my go-to Thai restaurant. Not to mention, the owners are some of the kindest, most humble and hardworking people I have met and I am happy to give my patronage to businesses run by people like that.
