Lovely homemade chicken broth made for an exceptional basil-tofu soup, unfortunately it was barely warm. Drunken noodles were generously tossed with an assortment of veggies but the pre-cooked slices of pork, kept cold, didn't spend enough time in the pan to warm up. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with this place. I had read the good reviews and decided to give it a shot for dinner after work. The decor is a little rough, but the food was really good. my wife's penang curry was the star of the show as it was really flavorful with a touch of spice. I haven't had Thai food in a while and this was the best! All fresh made, great flavors! Even the ice cream was fresh!!! Couldn't choose which to get, mango or coconut and since you get two scoops anyway, she let me have one of each! Our waitress was the sweetest thing so she added to the great meal we had there. The food is so salty doesn't matter which dosh you picked, the dice spiced pork supposed to be pressured cook for long time to give that melting in your mouth pork belly, and when I get mine it was all hard and not cooked right, not very authentic Thai food. read more

Our favorite Thai in Loveland!! By the seemingly hidden location, you might miss this place when driving on 34. My husband and I spent 2 months in Thailand so we like to think we know our stuff when it comes to Thai food,. and this is as authentic as it can get while being so far from Thailand. We always share a Panang curry, and love the garlic pepper stir fry and their fried rice. If you ask nicely they'll make you a traditional Thai omelette as well even though it's not on the menu. The owner is the sweetest and always makes an effort to say hi when we are there. We love this place! read more

I saw a sign for Thai Food from the street and decided to get some food to go. The ordering process was quick, friendly and easy. The restaurant and the bathroom both looked clean. As soon as I got my tofu Pad Thai in the car I could tell that there was a possibility that it was burnt. I didn't have chopsticks or plastic-wear in my to go bag so I couldn't try it and didn't feel like going back inside to complain. I think the noodles were what was burnt because the tofu was nice on the outside (could've been a little more cooked on the inside, but ok). Awful! The Tom Kha was terrible. The lemongrass was overpowering any other flavor it could have and I love lemongrass so this says a lot. Thre green curry smelled funky and it tasted funky. I had a stomach ache and a lot of bathroom breaks after because I ignored that because I was so hungry. My 23 yo son was sick after his food too. We threw any left overs away because of how ill we felt. We ordered the carry out on a Monday and were so disappointed. The heat level scale is weak, and if they don't change it I'd recommend ordering more heat if that's what your into ... but seriously...its a butt burner restaurant... the only fire I felt was from the bathroom use. read more

It's not often that I come across a restaurant this good. But to have so many vegan options is truly amazing, and easily makes it my favorite vegan-friendly restaurant in Northern Colorado. I am so disappointed with the repeted heath department " INADIQUATE" ratings this restaurant has received . I have eaten here several times and the food was amazing but multiple fails by the health department is a total deal breaker . I've worked in the restaurant business for years and know that some violations are not as big a deal as others but cross contamination , poor staff hygiene , improper holding temps s and insects is just to name a few is totally unacceptable . Came on the great reviews. Ordered an appetizer and our meal and waited 30 minutes for the app Golden Shrimp, between 1:30 and 2:00. Way too long for the lack of patrons. But the app was delish. We ordered Classic Pad Thai and Green Curry (Thai Hot). It was medium if mild by some standards but again very tasty and lots of chicken and veggies. The Pad Thai was ok. It had maybe 2 oz protein but very flavorful and nutty. Yes I will come again but hopefully they can have a bit faster service. read more

My husband and I came in for dinner tonight. First of all let me start off by saying the food was delicious. The meats where cooked to perfection and the spice level was just right. Some of the best thai food we have ever had. Our experience took a turn for the worst with the service of this place. As soon as walked through the door the girl was sitting on her phone. When she saw us come in she quickly put it away and greated and sat us. Keep in mind they where quite busy at the time. After seating us and bringing us water she walked away back to the table she was at and got back on her phone. The other server was running around and seemed to be taking all the other tables by himself. After several minutes of wating the guy sever came over, apologized, and took our order. For the rest of time we where there he took care of us and the rest of the restaurant. Even when we got up to leave the girl was on her phone and didn't even get up to say goodbye. Overall the whole experience just rubbed us the wrong way. I hope they improve on this as the food is very good. read more

Good food, small portions (no Thai take-home bag for me :sad face:), friendly and fast service, and spice level to your liking. I ordered the Cashew Nut dish with fried tofu instead of chicken. After talking to my waiter about their spice level, I ordered medium. My food was delivered promptly and tasted great but didn't have enough spice for me so they brought me out the spice mix that I could add to my dish to taste. I loved the flavor and amount of veggies. The jasmine rice was prepared perfectly. The fried tofu was not great, it was rubbery and hardly edible. If I were to order this dish again, I would ask for more veggies and cashews to replace the chicken/tofu. All and all, a great choice for dinner if you are a Thai fan. read more

Just a quick hit review for Cafe de Bangkok II. The place was kinda dark and drab inside. Low lighting and dark wood made it so, but it wasn't unpleasant. The dishes were pretty nice, though. The server also was quite friendly. Thai iced tea (with milk) was excellent. My crispy pork pad prik khing ("stir-fried sauteed crispy pork with long bean and kaffir lime leaves in Prik-Khing curry) was very tasty - I especially liked the crispy pork yumminess - but I thought the portion was kind of skimpy. Food taste ok but the portion sizes are extremely small for the prices they charge. Kids size portions. After eating here I was still hungry and felt like I got ripped off. Without over exaggerating for the price you pay the portions need to be exactly double of what they are giving. The to-go container is small enough to begin with and the entrée only fits half of that container. They try to make it look full by covering it with cucumber and garnish. TOTAL RIP OFF !!! read more
