Thai thai and I are on a first name basis. I'm here at least once a week. I alternate between the drunken noodles, pad thai, and pad prik king. We also like the fried potstickers and the crispy eggplant. I have never had a bad meal from here and am always impressed at how quickly they get my order ready. Terrible service. The dish (they recommended that and said it's very good) I ordered was too salty. When I complained to the manager, they said they made their food with standard recipe and it's the very taste it should be. Then the other customers started to complaint the salty problem. The manager just insisted they sold so many everyday, so it can NOT be their problem. Thai Thai did a very nice job on our meals. We had the crispy cha cha for the first time. I have nothing to compare it to, and it was delicious. We ordered the bibimbap and pad thai noodles. They were both tasty. Please don't waste your time at the local Chinese restaurants. This place is by far the place to go. I realize it's different nationalities, but we've eaten at the 'main' Chinese restaurant in town. It's terrible on many levels starting with cleanliness. This restaurant is clean with terrific service. In NYC and larger cities, I've eaten better, but for Cody, I'd frequent often and be very happy. The food is very fresh. The veggies are prepared perfectly, and the seafood is cleaned very well. They seemed thrilled that Anglicans would know about and purchase authentic Thai cuisine - very sweet people who deserve a shot. Oh, if you're a tourist in a hurry, slow down a touch and enjoy life. We had Pumpkin Curry, Yellow Curry, Drunken Noodles & Bibimbap all were delicious! None were that spicy, so if you like yours extra spicy then make sure you request it. Great service. Accommodating for vegans & vegetarians. Tofu wasn't on the menu but it was available (and delicious). Definitely recommend stopping by. It will be a regular stop every time we're in town. Knew something was up when we walked in at 5:30 PM on a Monday night in the winter and the place was packed (with locals). What did they know that we didn't? Simple--the food at Thai Thai is delicious! This is some of the best Thai I've ever had--very very fresh, homemade and tasty! Pot stickers were amazing, as was the Pad Thai and Sesame Chicken we ordered. Service was fast and friendly, but it's the food here that is the star (well, 5-stars). Tom Yum soup was watered down, not bitter, and not spicy at all. My Thai iced tea was pink and probably consisted of 80% cream and 20% tea. I could barely taste the tea. When I asked, who I presume to be the owner, for a little more tea she gave me a nasty look, took my glass, and put a drop more tea in it. Then, my gangdang (red curry) showed up. The only thing that made my curry red was all the chili flakes I put in it to cover up the taste of milk. This place will do, if you're hungry and in need of nourishnent, else, skip it. read more

We went there on Saturday night. They were not busy at all only 3 tables including my table really!!! It seems to be busy for you guys. I saw 2 people are working at the front mama and daughter. The daughter seems to be confusing. She doesn't know how to take order/ how to run the credit card or anything... We ordered pad Woonsen , basil fried rice and green curry. For me I think the taste is okay not very good. I've been to many good Thai restaurant and their price seem to be higher $10.95 for green curry. The rice that came with green curry was very tiny I think it's good for 3 years old kid.I think they should make it better at this point. By the time that we sat there we heard 1 guy yelling all the times from kitchen. For my opinion I think you should be happy whatever you are doing. read more

I was really disappointed by a number of things: harsh, pushiness to get us to order; overpriced; tiny portions. Yes, I understand that rent is high on Sheridan Avenue in Cody, but I suspect prices shot up as soon as the first out-of-state plates started rolling into town for the summer season. I would have appreciated our server just saying "order more ... our prices are high and our portions are small." The food was flavorful enough, but $11 for a curry that wasn't overly involved in such a small portion is ridiculous. For the $20 we spent, including tip, for lunch, I almost felt the need to go to the grocery store and pick up something from the deli. Ah, where to start... We were on our way to Yellowstone and we always make it a point to eat thai food when we travel (as well as at home). I was encouraged by the reviews praising their accommodations for substitutions since we are vegetarians. Within the first few minutes of arriving, there was apparently a mix up on an order, which the mature lady (owner?) proceeded to yell at a young girl working as a waitress. It was quite uncomfortable and jarring to the rest of the customers to witness. Then, I asked to substitute some vegetables in their Massaman curry, which I often do at many other thai restaurants. The owner? just flat out told me no and gave a lame excuse that the cook wouldn't want to do it. Later, I asked for a carry out box for my left over pumpkin curry and since my rice was gone , I asked for a small amount in the bottom of the container to put my curry on top of. I was again told no, they could "only do full portions" of rice and they would charge me for it. I have never, in all the thai restaurants I have been to, which probably numbers above 50, been charged for rice. Especially when the portions we were served were quite small. I guess maybe the sparce selection of restaurants in the area make people tolerate this, or maybe locals just don't know that these issues are not normal practices. Oh, and if you order tofu as your protein source, expect almost all of the vegetables to be eliminated from your dish. Very disappointing experience all around. read more

Stopped in on the 4th ordered a pork Krapow asked for it Thai hot it was not hot by Chinese standards. The balance of the dish was all wrong so I asked for fish sauce and chilies told they don't have any asked for just fish sauce told they don't have any. Sorry you can't make Thai without fish sauce.
