Instead of the typical bite-sized pieces, it was a whole fried chicken breast with a light, crispy coating. It wasn't greasy at all--just fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, and our food came out quickly, which made for a great dining experience. My only suggestion would be to update the decor and overall atmosphere. The food here is amazing, and we usually drive over an hour just to eat here, but on this particular Monday, we didn't have a great experience. We ordered our food at 1:00 PM. I asked the young lady at the counter to package it in to-go containers just in case my two young grandchildren were a little too rambunctious to sit down and eat. I also explained to her that my daughter was out in the car nursing a 4-week-old newborn who is on oxygen, and since it was 87 degrees outside, it would likely be too hot for us to eat outdoors. She told me the food would take about 15 minutes. I set an alarm and took the kids for a walk down the street. When we returned at 1:15 PM, I grabbed our food and went to sit down inside. The employee suddenly informed me that they were closing early that day and that we would not be allowed to eat in the dining area. This made no sense. As I was walking back in the door, I literally watched her take an order for another couple. Knowing the food takes 15 minutes to prepare, that couple wouldn't even be receiving their food until 1:30 PM. There were also other people sitting in the restaurant. It honestly felt like they just didn't want to accommodate us simply because we had young children with us. My advice to you: The food is great, but be prepared for very poor service--especially if you have small children. read more

Amazingly good Thai food. We're visiting in town and had a late lunch here. The place is short staffed, and a sign lets you know when you come in. Our dishes arrived as they were made, so they don't all come at once. That said, all the dishes our party got were great, fresh and hot as well. My Tofu Pad Thai was really tasty. The soups were also good. The Pineapple Fried Rice seemed to be heavy on the curry, but it was still very good. They have gluten free options, so that's good for those who need that. Thai Thai is an absolute hidden gem. We ordered the crab rangoons, crispy avocado, beef drunken noodles, and chicken pad see ew, and every single dish was spot on. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the spice level on the drunken noodles was just right, and the meat in both dishes was sliced beautifully and cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and clearly high quality. Our server was fantastic as well, friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. We were seated quickly, our appetizers came out promptly, and our meals were timed perfectly so we could enjoy everything without feeling rushed or waiting too long. The service was quick yet dedicated, making sure we had everything we needed while still giving us space to enjoy the meal. It truly elevated the entire experience and made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. This place may be a hole in the wall, but that's part of the charm. The portions are very filling (we're bringing home leftovers again), and the prices are shockingly reasonable for how good the food is. We honestly expected the bill to be much higher based on the quality alone. Food was on point, but the service is so bad. Hot food = lots of water, but no water. Somehow my order did come out of the computer. ( meaning not put into the computer). Ordered water and soda three times and watched tables around me get all the water and soda with my mouth still on fire. Our servicer was very nice and always said "thank you" in a long drawn out way. Basically the front of the room is run by two kids who have no service backgrounds and the kitchen was amazing. I would order my food to go so you can get enough water and drink and not have to watch the show. Makes your blood pressure rise a bit. The food tasted excellent, the only downside was service. I ordered my food and started eating, I got done with about half of it then the server brought me a box, she said they closed in 5 minutes and that I needed to leave. I was dumbfounded I've never been asked to leave like that. I asked to finish my food and she said I could not. I called when I left to talk to the manager or owner about the situation, they said the server said I could finish my food but she had not and I explained that I've never had that happen to me before at anywhere I've eaten and whoever I was talking to hung up the phone on me. They would not answer after that. The server sat on her phone in the dining room the whole time, I will not be eating here again I see why everyone in town always goes to the other Thai restaurant now. First time here and it was amazing! My fiancé got the beef noodle soup, and I got the chicken larb. I wish I had taken a picture of my food, but I couldn't wait because it looked too good. Liked the food. The people were very welcoming and nice! Just one complaint about this sticker posted by the table (see photo). It is NOT okay in 2022 to assert that you are not going to pay a living wage to your employees. I am happy to tip, but that should really not make such a massive difference to person's earnings. In Cody, WY and it's crowded with older folks. I guess it's close to Yellowstone so folks stay here. Aside from its close proximity to Yellowstone there doesn't appear to be any draw to Cody. We find ourselves in Cody about once a year typically. I discovered this place years ago during my first visit to Cody. Outstanding! When in Wyoming, you might find yourself wanting something other than a burger or steak after a few days. Thai food hit the spot. It seems like this restaurant has been hit hard by COVID... especially when it comes to staffing. One person acted as the hostess / server / busser and was constantly moving just barely keeping up. The people preparing the food made occasional appearances out front and definitely appeared to be authentic Thai ... usually a good sign! That said, the food was good (green curry, mango curry, pad see ew, Mongolian beef) and was a nice reprieve from the steady course of red meat that we'd had the last several days. The curry dishes were made a little differently than I'm used to, but regional differences in Thai cooking might account for that. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night around 8pm. The restaurant had a decent amount of people and we were seated immediately. Menus were brought out quickly, but then we weren't checked in on for another 15 minutes. The lady also forgot to bring us our waters until 20 minutes after sitting down. But after we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. Most dishes have some combination of a meat, shrimp, or beef option. The "meat" option is just a choice between chicken or pork. We ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp, pad Thai with chicken, and the pumpkin curry with pork. The tom yum soup and the pumpkin curry came out in bowls that were a lot smaller than I've ever seen it brought out in before at other Thai restaurants. The pad Thai was of a regular restaurant portion size, though. Overall, the food here was good, but it wasn't really restaurant quality level of food. It was more reminiscent of a home cooked meal. The food was also flavored a little too sweet for what I'm used to. I don't think there's many other Thai options here, so given the location it was pretty okay. read more

Good authentic Thai food. The server told me they came from Bangkok, and they are always kind and happy to see folks come in. My favorite thing is the chicken pad thai. Pad thai can taste different, depending on where you go. Theirs has the characteristic peanut, but there is also a sweetness in the profile. No spice and no lime note.
