Good food with good flavor. 3 1/2 out of 5 rating. We had an early Valentine's Day lunch. Roasted Duck, Three Buddies, Spring Roll and Bangkok Roll. The flavor was there. The breast part of the duck was excellent however the leg and thigh were chewy and a little tough. The Three Buddies was mostly all chicken. There was a single scallop and a few shrimp and the rest filled with Chicken. We thought it would be more balanced. Overall the food was good and we will return. Found the spot, but parking was confusing. Restaurant is in a house that does not have street parking. It was hard to find, but there is an ally behind the house with a few parking spaces. They were taken so I tried to look at other properties in the alley and they all had no parking signs. Finally a spot freed up and I was able to park. Was promptly greeted when I walked in and seated quickly. Was seated at tables in the living room of an old house and it was a little warm inside the house. Eventually it cooled off as the sun went down. Ordered food and it arrived in a reasonable about of time. Fresh shrimp spring rolls were good and the peanut sauce was flavorful. I ordered Massaman curry and it was not very flavorful. Vegetables were fresh, but the sauce was very runny and not thicker like I am used to. Was surprised there was not more flavor in the sauce. Overall okay atmosphere, very good service and food was okay, but not blown away. read more

Best Thai food in the area hands down! Tried the pineapple fried rice along with Pai Thai and both we fantastic. House salad with ginger dressing, crab rangoons, and Bangkok chicken app was delicious. The building is a converted house with great nostalgic woodwork with a small but charming dining area. The service was very good and everyone was polite and friendly. The parking lot was small but plenty of additional parking near by. My husband and I frequently crave Thai food, and we've been hesitant to give Thai Thai a chance because we've had some plates that have been off-the-charts hot. I'm talking level 1 and sweating bullets wiping my face with a napkin kind of hot. It's also a large time commitment. The service and wait time can be very slow. But yet we keep going back. The food is good, and with very limited Thai options in town it keeps us coming back. We also love its quirkiness. It's a historic home in BG's downtown that is quiet and peaceful inside with lots of natural light. It feels like walking into your friend's mom's house. Our best tips for enjoying Thai Thai are to: 1. Get there early. If you're in a hurry and want to get out in about an hour or less, I would get there right at opening time. Otherwise, plan on being there closer to an hour and a half or more. 2. If you're not used to spicy foods and haven't built up much tolerance for it, ask for a 0.5 level spice. We may have felt like dorks asking for it, but it was well worth it to enjoy our food comfortably. 3. Get the egg rolls. The rolls plus the sweet and sour sauce they pair it with are fire. read more

Service was ok. Food was not as good as I expected. Asked for extra sauce on both pad Thai and drunken noodles. Both were very dry, and the drunken noodles were stuck together. Asked for more sauce but the server said it would be salty? Unfortunately not that great, what I make at home is much better!! 2nd time traveling through bowling green and ate here for lunch. We always get thai and green curry to determine if they have the basics down and these two were delicious! Level 2 hotness was hot and just right for us. If are ordering one dish, then i would go with level1 hotness. We had not hot drunken noodle and green curry to help with level 2 pad thai. This place gets an A+ for atmosphere and decor. The food was quite good too. Service was good even though there was a large party that just came in at the same time. The menu was extensive. We had corn cakes for an appetizer, which were good but I think might have been better as they had a bit of a 'not so fresh' grease taste. It wasn't bad, but still noticeable. The Waterfall beef salad was excellent, but we learned that medium spice level to them was more like hot to us. I would like to come back and try some other dishes from the wide variety that they offered. We were too full for dessert. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere and food. I love hot food and anything beyond a "3" on their 1-10 scale tastes like fire to me. A 3 will have your eyes watering and your sinus' clear. Their kitchen is tiny so expect a 1.5 hour wait to get your food. The wait is insanely long. I recommend going with good friends that you like to talk to. This makes the wait bearable. As already noted by other reviewers, best Thai in Bowling Green, maybe in all of western Kentucky. Now that isn't necessarily saying a whole lot, but this place is pretty good. The prices are pretty average for a Thai place, and the food was delicious, although nothing out of the ordinary. For a place like Bowling Green, this restaurant is doing pretty good, but I would not go out of the way to come here. Service was slow, even though we were one of two parties in the whole restaurant. I didn't mind it on that night, but I could see how a busy weekend night would be a nightmare. read more

Great little Thai house in BGKY. The food is very good and the ingredients are fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Take their advice on the spice level of your food; don't try to be cute and get a level 5 if you are not ready for it. The Thai Tea is quite tasty. The only little negative is that this place is made for a long meal with family or friends; this is not a fast-casual place. This is due to the kitchen being small. Went to go see a friend of ours in Bowling Green Brandon, on our way out of Bowling Green, my girlfriend Toey was starving for Thai food. So I YELP it and came up with Thai Thai, which had the best reviews and they were right. So my girlfriend ordered for us since she was Thai. She ordered some type of beef salad which was great, tasted a lot of basil, which is my favorite. Chicken Pad Thai, the sauce was flavorful and wet pad Thai. I like it runny. The fish cake appetizer was great. Overall when we come back to Bowling Green we're make a special trip to eat here again. By the way the two daughter of the owners, did a great job on service. I'm still relatively new to Bowling Green and I'm on a student budget, so going out to dinner doesn't happen a whole lot. My husband and I had an impromptu date night one Monday and decided we needed some Thai fried rice. Thai Thai is located in a refurbished house with beautiful woodwork and nice Asian decor throughout. A nice break from the modern decor of most other restaurants nowadays. I really loved the feel of it! I got the Thai iced tea which was just as good as I've had in other cities, so I'm happy to have a new spot to get it in town! We both got the chicken Thai fried rice and it was delicious! The salad (complimentary appetizer) was good, but had a little too much dressing on it (allergy note: there are peanuts in the dressing!). Overall the food was good but average Americanized Asian food. (If you're wanting something wild and distinct, this likely won't be the place.) The service was great, the two people working were very kind and attentive to our needs. Based on previous reviews, I can see how this place may get slow if you hit it at a busy time. Monday nights are slow for restaurants so we didn't have any issues, but even if you do have to wait a little, the food is worth it! read more
