A few things... I like how they let you place your order and text you when it's ready, little things like this matter. You can order and have a seat, do something else (watch your car for the meter maid, if you order to-go ). It's just a lot of things that you can do besides stand and look aimlessly at them. The spice levels here are craZy ridiculous. Once I got papaya salad level 3 and the salad was sooo spicy and I like spice. But I made it through. I did. The next visit I got the crab fried rice with shrimp. Spice level 3 and I was able to handle it. The rice was so good it honestly didn't need any meat. That's something special. Plain fried rice usually isn't great. This is. This place is cute for a date, hanging with friends, solo missions for lunch or dinner... Or just grabbing to go. I enjoyed it both times. The service was great. No issues. Placed my orders quickly and just waited for a text notification. I plan on returning to try more things at a level 4. I'm ready for it. read more

Ordered pineapple fried rice w/ chicken ($15) and their drunken noodles w/ pork ($14) through Doordash delivery. I don't know what it is but Thai food in Baltimore is expensive. I read the reviews and many commented how authentic the food is, and how spicy it can get. So I opted for No spice-level 1. The fried rice was a nice sizable portion and filling, with little bits of roasted cashews and canned pineapple, however the drunken noodles were drenched in a VERY salty dark oyster sauce or soy sauce base. I'm not used to having drunken noodles be that extremely seasoned with sauce that I was glad I had the fried rice to balance it out. But under normal conditions, you should NOT be seeking a bland bowl of white rice because your drunken noodles are so salty. I noticed that the pictures of their noodle dishes look very dark brown, including the Pad thai which is very unusual. The drunken noodles were also REALLY dripping of oil, like an unusually large amount, pooling at the bottom of the black takeout container. I know the flat rice noodles can stick together but the amount of oil here was real excessive. It was also hard to tell if they had given me strips of pork or chicken and I *think* it was thinly sliced pork given the textured grain of the meat.. It was only about 1/2 full compared to the portion of pineapple fried rice in the same takeout container. For the $$ price point, it definitely wasn't the best Thai food I've had and was honestly disappointing. read more

This little spot is located inside the Cross street Market! If you're looking for a small and intimate setting this is probably not it, however if good Thai food is the priority then make sure you stop here I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were for the food, since I did have left overs. All the food tasted great and nothing felt like it needed more sauce. I got both Pad See Ew and Pad Thai without regrets lol. The Thai tea and Thai Coffee were really good but beware of how sweet they are, make sure to have water nearby. Overall I'm happy I found this casual spot and plan to come back. read more

Solid Thai food with counter service. We had the papaya salad without shrimp, beef drunken noodle, and tofu green curry before going to see a show at Vagabond. I went to Thai street with my friends and boyfriend last week and it was great. This restaurant is located inside Broadway market so there are other vendors around. The parking is street parking so that can be annoying but doable. It wasn't super busy when we got there. The person working there was really helpful. They explained the spiciness levels. I got the drunken noodles at a spicy level 3 and it was delicious!! My friends tried my food and thought it was really spicy but I thought it was perfect. I would definitely get it again. I love their Thai Tea Bubble Tea! Comes with a ribbon of caramelized sugar, and for me, it's the perfect amount of sweet (I love sweet). I crave it around once a week, and it's the closest boba to me, so it's accessible. Haven't tried a ton of other boba in Baltimore, so can't compare. I need to try more of their food, but their spicy is pretty spicy so heed their spice label warnings. (And I'm brown so this means something. 3 is definitely a good kick, will clear your sinuses a little bit.) read more

I got Pad See Ew which was okay. It wasn't the best and it wasn't the worse. Maybe it was just my order-- I think they could have added more protein and vegetables as my order was just noodles. Got takeout from here last night and loved one of my dishes, but not the other. The khao soi was amazing, although I would have loved for it to be just a tiny bit less sweet. I got a 3 level spice and I'm definitely glad I didn't go any lower. I wasn't a huge fan of the Tom kha - I wanted it very mild and requested no spice, but it definitely had a lot of spice in it and just wasn't the traditional Tom kha taste I was looking for. Came here for lunch with a good friend of mine. Neither of us have tried any of the stands in the Broadway Market since they have remodeled. So she was like lets try the Thai stand, and I absolutely love Thai food. And boy was I blown away. Very authentic and delicious. We pretty much kept it simple today, my friend loves Drunken noodles, me I love the Tom yum goong soup and the Pra Gra Pro with chicken. The service was really good and prompt. Definitely a nice place to go during lunch time. The price point wasn't bad at all, with my soup and entrée, I paid no more than $20 bucks for both items. Definitely will be returning. This spot is right up there with my other fave Thai restaurant off of Greenmount Ave, which is called the Thai restaurant, and that says a lot for me, because I am extremely picky about my Thai food. Thai Street is my favorite thai food in the city. The freaking khao soi is life-changingly good. I have also had their pad see ew, pad thai, and drunken noodles - they are all delicious and I would rank them in that order (but that's only if I am forced to rank bc they're all perfect). We came across this place yesterday and glad we did. I ordered their Pad Thai, and it is DELICIOUS. Great portion and saucy. I hate getting dry Pad Thais. I want to go back and get some more. The bf got the Pad Gra Pao with Pork Belly spicy level 2. It had an occasional nice kick and it was also delicious. Portion was less in comparison to the pad Thai. Located within a small market venue, Thai Street offers a street food vibe. I ordered the chicken pad Thai for good measure and found that it was better than some but not most. Very average at best. The spring rolls were delicious however. I didn't get a chance to experience the service because I ordered to go on a Friday night. It was ready by the time that was estimated and quick to pickup. I ordered delivery via GrubHub on 07/31/2023. I ordered the "Heavenly Pork" appetizer, and also got the Drunken Noodles. The appetizer was good, but it was pretty small and I probably wouldn't get it again. The Drunken Noodles were fantastic. I got spicy level 2 (it goes up to 5, and then there's also a death level). Thai Street is a new Thai restaurant in the renovated Broadway Market (which is GREAT btw, go check it out!) Like the other stalls in the market, there is only a few chairs to eat at the counter at the restaurant, otherwise you're getting it to go. However, you don't have to go far, as you can take the food to one of the indoor or outdoor seating areas, or even to the Fat Tiger bar also within the market. I split a veggie pad see ew and papaya salad. The pad see ew is my benchmark Thai dish, the first I order at any new place, and I have to say I was very impressed! It was rich, chewy, and flavorful, + a few spicy toppings made for an amazing noodle dish. The Papaya salad was a little more plain, just the shredded papaya in some tasty dressing. The curry puffs were okay but a little over cooked and more puff than curry. Was told the drunken noodle was okay. Not sure how my basil chicken was since got nothing but spice at level 4 on 0-6 scale. I like spicy food but will go down to a 2 for next meal. My partner and I ordered the curry puffs, Khao Soi with chicken, and the Pad Thai with tofu. We each ordered medium heat, but the Pad Thai was far spicier. The Khao Soi was actually a bit too sweet for my preferences. The curry puffs were delicious! The Pad Thai was also really tasty. The boyfriend and I ordered Thai Street for the first time this past weekend. I've been eyeballing it for some time but I live in Hampden and try to avoid downtown as much as possible (squeegee boys and dirt bike gang ). He ordered green curry, I got the pad gra pao level 2 spicy and a Thai bubble tea. I loved it so much I had to come back again two days later to get more! So good. My favorite place for thai good in Baltimore! I was so glad that they were able to reopen and do take out during stay at home orders and delivering such quality food! Our regular order is the khao soi but I've also loved the drunken noodles too! The dumplings are delicious but only came two to the order which was a bit steep IMO. I'd like to start by saying that I typical receive excellent service and great quality food. My experience today started very much the same. I ended up ordering a good number of items and having a great chat with the person working the register where we chatted about me traveling from two counties over because I had a craving for this spot. The problem came in when pretty quickly into the meal I noticed a bug of some kind in my Thai Tea. I returned to the restaurant about 10 minutes after leaving just to ask for a refund because there was literal bug in my food and response from the same person taking my order was that the best they could do is remake my drink for me because they don't offer refunds. Ordered in toast app and food was ready early and hot. I got pad thai level 4 and curry puffs. Curry puffs were only ok, I don't think I'd get again. Pad thai was some of the better I've had in Baltimore, but I think next time I'll need to get death spicy and some extra.
