First time at this restaurant. I ordered the Panang Curry with Chicken. It was delicious! This is one of my favorite dishes . The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the curry sauce was very thin. I brought it home and used corn starch to thicken a little. The flavor was great though. I interacted with two employees. Both were very pleasant. My take out order arrived very quickly. It's been raining, so we felt grateful to find this Thai restaurant literally walking distance from where we're staying. OMG. We've had Thai food all over the country - in big cities, suburban communities and small towns. This was the BEST we've ever had. I had the Pad Prik (spicy) with rice, vegetables and shrimp. My wife had the Pad Puck (garlic) sauce also with rice, vegetables and shrimp. Both were incredibly flavorful, with generous portions. The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. I had my son go inside to get a menu, he was provided with a business card and told that they do not have paper menus but they have a website you could order from. Later in the week, I went online and was directed to (https://qmenu.us/#/thai-rainbow-middle-river/menu/menu-0) and read the description of each of their curry dishes before settling on the yellow curry (coconut milk, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, onions, basil leaves and straw mushrooms). I placed my order and paid for it, then received my confirmation text. I went to go pick up my food, got home and when I opened it, there was onions, carrots and potatoes. I called the restaurant and was told that they don't have a curry with the ingredients I read online. I returned to the restaurant with the food and showed my phone which had the exact ingredients listed, only to be told that was an old menu. Absolutely LOVE this new place! Highly recommended! The staff is super nice and the food is SO GOOD! I got the pad Thai and Thai tea and I'm addicted! I wish they had bubble tea as an option but this will suffice. The interior decor is beautiful which distracts you from waiting. However they're not super busy so I haven't had to wait yet. I got the Thai Noodle Boat/Float Boat Noodles and this did not disappoint! Also got the Thai Tea and egg rolls. Really delicious. Come to find out they can make the food as spicy as Lao/Laos food! We waited about 15 minutes at our table for water and then over 45 minutes for our appetizer and dinner. It wasn't crowded about 1/4 tables full. A few people pretty angry waiting an hour or more for their to go order. The air doesn't seem to be on - it's warm in here. The food then made me cry with spice - it was a 2/5 and it burned so much I couldn't eat it. What I ordered: Chicken Pad Thai What I received: some sort of dish that resembled pad thai, but instead of pieces of perfectly cooked chicken morsels it had random jiblets of all the ocean's animals. When I returned to get my order corrected their advice was I should have just kept it since it cost more. Ahm... Can't in good conscience recommend this place, which is a shame since there aren't many options in this part of Middle River. Also, their egg rolls are **nothing** (emphasis on nothing) like a normal egg roll. My fault for not reading the menu, but come on aren't all egg rolls supposed to be the same! This restaurant reminds me of Thailand. It's not only the devour but the smell and the general feeling. My husband had the beef noodle and I had the rad nah. He really enjoyed the beef noodle. I don't think I have ever had Thai food before but I looked at their menu and was amazed. We went for dinner. Here is what I thought : - Restaurant - Clean- pretty - and welcoming. Love the bright colors and decor. -Service - spectacular. Everyone was super kind and knowing it was out first time even googled photos of what some dishes looked like so we could make good decisions. - Food. Oh. My. Love. I had the Tom Kha soup. I'm pretty sure if dreams had a taste it would be this soup. I want more of it right now. Pretty sure I could eat it everyday. The iced green tea should come in a bucket. Or a pool I can swim in and drink til I explode. The dumplins were incredible. I love them too much. And the Mango Sweet Rice-- I will probably end up on Intervention trying to kick this habit. They are an addiction I plan to fully embrace. MaNao the chef takes obvious pride in his dishes and is just the sweetest. I will be back so much they will most likely accuse me of stalking the menu. I love this place. It is a welcome addition to White Marsh/Middle River. I've eaten here dozens of times and gotten carry out a few times and I haven't had a single bad dish. I don't usually have an appetizer so I cannot comment on that. I usually get the Thai Float Boat-highly recommend you get this with beef (you can get it with pork too) for the most authentic taste. Deep, rich flavorful broth, it's like the Thai version of pho, you may not ever want to go back to eating regular pho. I've also had their Drunken Noodles and Lad Na, also highly recommend these as they do a great job on getting that wide noodle deliciously stir fried. My mom and I also love their papaya salad, the perfect amount of sweet, spicy and tangy with decent sized shrimp. If you like fish, you cannot go wrong with their crispy whole red snapper with the basil sauce. We order this every time we dine here because it's so good. They give you a decent sized fish for the money and crisp it up perfectly, we eat the whole thing from the head to the tail and enjoy every bite. Occurred in 2021, yes some availability issues. Disappointed that the past two times I have ordered they were out of stock on on curry puffs. Figured ok things happen but I had already paid for it online. Offered sub of egg rolls (3) which is 5.00 instead of 7.00 figured i would get the 2.00 plus tax back or an extra egg roll but nothing. A month later ordered again online to receive a call they are out of stock on curry puffs. I again was offered egg rolls chicken or shrimp but i dont eat seafood. I said just refund the curry puffs. He said he couldnt issue a refund as its through another site I would have to contact them. I said just cancel the entire order and issue a refund. Said would call right back and didnt. I called back and they were struggling to figure out how to issue the credit. Three days later no credit issued and was on my account. I called them they said they could give me cash, credit towards future meal or dispute with card. I chose at this point to dispute it as I dont think I will ever be heading back to Thai Rainbow. It is a shame as I was ordering once a month sometimes more for past couple of years. read more

Service was so rude! We just moved to this town, looking for something good so we stumbled upon this restaurant. Being that they close at 9pm, we called at 8:30pm and they didn't want to take any to go orders. That was completely fine, we'll try another day. Today we stopped by. The young server lady was so rude. She asked if we were ordering for here or togo, my husband said for togo, then she went straight to the kitchen without saying anything. We thought she's coming back but we were waiting for awhile! We ordered 4 things (fried rice, seafood soup, papaya salad and sticky rice). But I asked her if we can eat the sticky rice at the restaurant, the 3 others are for togo. Seems like she didn't like it what we said. The table we sat at didnt have anything, no water, no napkins! When she brought the sticky rice out, we asked for napkins, she ignored it. Twice, we asked, she ignored....again while she was standing so close to us!!!!! Later then we were done with the dish, she brought out the togo food and...... napkins.....We did tip $8 tho. read more

My go to spot is near Arundel Mills (Little Spice) but this spot is a good "Northern" alternative. I had the Drunken Noodle with Shrimp. Update: The restaurant delivers in the locale area via an online ordering system. They will accommodate late orders, even close to closing time. The flavors are still very consistent. I hope this place stays! The Whitemarsh area is overloaded with chains which is a bummer. This is refreshing. read more

Had the satay and summer rolls for apps. Bother we're very good but the dipping sauce for the satay I thought was very watery.the pad Thai the night we went had a large amount of fish sauce.
