I was so disappointed in this place…read more We came here so we can get something different then the local like normal tourist trap places. So we called and ordered our food. Tom ka and Tom ka guy. We also then ordered chicken nuggets and fries for my toddler, pad Thai with beef and curry with chicken. Well the bill was 88 dollars. I brought the food home. I opened my bag and noticed my soup was missing the broth. Well it was ajar open after it was placed on its side with my other foods. Whoever packed it was not good in the service industry and put my entire order in 1 bag. So i had to pour my liquid out of my bag back into my soup. I was furious. The soup wasn't even great. Not that tasty kinda bland. A let down. I then tasted the tom ka. Ehhh nothing to write home about. The pad Thai with beef was so chewy ! It had cartilage and gristle. The curry was good. We called to complain. The lady said come in to get a new item. I wasn't driving back 20 min for a soup. Overall, so disappointing. I don't know who gave this place 5 stars. Maybe people who don't eat Thai food all the time or been to Thailand. But this was not authentic. Oh yeah chicken nuggets were soggy and so were the fries.

Only complaint was service was a bit slow - only one person working front of house and it took a while to order, and receive our food. But food was amazing! We ordered the Gyoza, summer rolls, and tom yum soup to start. Then for entrees our kids got the hibachi steak and chicken meals. We ordered the pad see ew and curry. Everything was made to order and food came out at different times but it was really good. They forgot the kids salads and never refilled our drinks but we still loved it.

The fried chicken, however, was quite plain and fried way too hard, so maybe I should have chosen different items. If you're staying at the Myrtle Beach Marriott, I'd recommend skipping DoorDash for delivery. It charged me an extra $10 for the fee and tip, which feels excessive. The restaurant should ideally offer free delivery within a 5-mile radius rather than passing that charge onto the customer. That added fee was a bit frustrating.. We were almost the only ones in the restaurant for a time but when more came in she had a hard time keeping up with everything. But still she did very well. They have a nice variety of Thai curries and sushi. I love nigiri and they had a really nice variety to choose from. I tried the Tuna, Salmon, Octopus and Spicy Scallop Nigiri. The only thing I will say is that the nigiri is a little pricy. I had 8 pieces and it ended up being about $30 before tax and tip. They were big pieces but that is also difficult because you are supposed to eat them in one bite. My friends had the drunken noodles and the yellow Thai curry. Both were a big hit. I would definitely come back and try this place again and experience more of the options available.
