Baby roach in Broccoli with Oyster Sauce
nora s.

The experience today for lunch, after attending the Spring Festival, could have been great but the baby roach in my broccoli chicken entree immediately dropped my review to a big fat zero. They took the entree off the bill, obviously, but my stomach has been turned forever...and I won't be going back...ever‍

Thai Palace's cuisine never disappoints and the service, while sometimes a bit slow, is always gracious. Tonight, they were outstanding in every way. We were attended by two excellent servers and the chefs outdid themselves on the Sexy Lady specialty roll and Pad Woon Sen, which is a real treat to find on an "American" Thai menu and always so delicious.

Fried Calamari

Beautiful aesthetics, easy environment to talk to people you're eating with, great customer service. I love trying calamari wherever I go, this calamari was really good! The breading wasn't oily, crispy, and the squid wasn't chewy! Sushi was superb, fresh, flavorful Ginger tea was nice, smooth, nice sweetness Woosen was light, good flavors, lots of veggies was a bonus Spaghetti was heavy (shareable), good amount of veggies.

Shrimp and chicken pad Thai

This is my second time trying this place and the first time I wasn't impressed. This time I really wasnt impressed at all. I'm sorry but they should really do better. My basil rolls were OK. The plum sauce is really good but my pad Thai was terrible. I feel like the chicken was cooked, frozen and heated to serve instead of fresh. I had way too many noodles and the sauce wasn't appeasing nor was it barely enough to cover because it was too much. The shrimp in my pad Thai was good. But over all I probably wouldn't order here again. I ended up throwing my food away.

Chicken Satay

I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was! You have to give this restaurant a try. The people are nice, really good food and an overall great atmosphere! Atmosphere We missed this place a couple of times bc it's not your typical restaurant look. It's sort of built into a house with a big patio. It's comfy and reminds me of a home. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Also, they have parking and there's parking just a block away near other shops. So no need to worry about where to park. Food We started with chicken satay. As soon as it arrived, you couldn't help but stop and smell. The chicken looked nice and juicy - and it was exactly that. I couldn't get enough of the peanut sauce. But honestly, if you're not a big fan of peanut sauce, the chicken didn't even need it. That's how good it was. For the entree we had pad thai with chicken and shrimp. It was so good! Just the right amount of savory to sweetness. Nice crunch from the veggies and peanuts. The shrimp was plump and chicken was silky. I'm already drooling for more. We also had the spider roll, which is a soft shell crab roll, and the rainbow roll. Both were really good and very fresh tasting. I really like soft shell crab rolls. This one had a surprising twist of asparagus. Both were really good though. Service We had a very nice server. It just so happens that day that there was only one cook and two servers. So waited a bit for our food but we didn't mind. There's so much to admire about the place and to just enjoy each other's company. Service may have taken a little longer but this can happen when you're supporting smaller local businesses and the food completely made up for it!

Came here with my cousin as it's one of his favorite places in conyers. Friendly service and a decent fried rice. Place is very clean. Will check it out again next time I am in town.

Wonderful patio seating for a nice summer evening meal. Great not to have to drive downtown and still have quality Thai food.

I've literally waited 20 years to try this place (known if it never went) until my buddy spoke highly of their Basil Duck. On the day I tried it, I didn't have a whole lot of time, so I ordered a to -go Pad Si Ew with beef. It came a few minutes after the stated "10 minutes", (15 minutes, but that is 50 % longer than promised) however it came out piping hot, bagged and ready to go with a nice side of a coconut mushroom soup that I did not expect. Inside was nicely decorated and in keeping with what I consider to be traditional. The outside is nice and neat, very clean, and in a convenient outdoor shopping area with convenient parking. 5 stars. Value here is more of a 2 stars situation. Lunch was listed as $15.95 (including the beef option). I always tip at least 10% on a carry out, but shame on me, the had already added that but didn't say anything, nor did I read it anywhere, but I tipped on top of that and should not have. So basically with entree, tax, tip,.....and tip, I was at $20 for a lunch. To go. 3 stars on my food. The food quality was good, though I did not care for the soup. It was so seaweed heavy, funky, different, that I poured it out. The Pad Si Ew was good, but needed Soy sauce. There was none to be found in the bag. None on the counter to pack. Oh well. I'll go try the Basil Duck next time. And probably sit down for a more in depth look.

The only thing we would've changed is possibly ordering more because every dish was delicious?…read more Pork egg roll: Crunch, warm, and super tasty. The sweet chili sauce was perfect as well. Braised Wings: The crispy wings and sweet sauce are a must every time. Shrimp fried rice: The Shrimp was well seasoned and juicy. And the fried rice was flavorful, especially with a small splash of soy sauce. Pork Bahn mi: This was our favorite dish. The meat was sweet and tender, the bread warm with the perfect amount of crunch. It was a perfect sandwich. Chicken Curry: We're used to curry with rice on the side, so the noodles with broth was a nice change of pace. The chicken was falling off the bone and we drank every sip of the broth. Strawberry dragonfruit with peach popping boba was a great compliment to the savory dishes as well.

For me personally, the broth needed a little extra help from the add-ins (hoisin, sriracha, herbs, etc.) to really bring out the flavor I was looking for. Once adjusted, it was enjoyable. I will say prices seem to have gone up a bit, but you do get a decent amount of food for what you pay. Overall, it's a reliable spot when you're craving pho.
