One of my favorite spots in Springfield, been eating here over 20 years. Favorites are bume dry, asparagus tofu, Penang curry and the chicken satay. read more

I really wanted to like i but I was very disappointed with everything I ordered there. With so many thai places in town you would think they would try a little bit. The pad thai had nothing in it!!! The noodles weren't even the flat ones. Do not order pad thai! The crab ragoons were deep fried in some old oil. And the place was totally empty when I picked up ny food, no surprise there. It look like they violate many health codes. So sorry for the business owner and the employees there but they need to get it together, maybe try harder with the food they prepare I paid $40 for a pad thai, a red curry and crab ragoons. I think it's expensive for what I got for sure read more

Thai Kitchen 2 - Very sad looking "pad Thai " - Thai Near Me - Springfield, Illinois

Everything I have ever tried here has been great. Never dined inside, always ordered take out and everything is packed with care and order is always correct. read more

Food was great. Service fast. Spring rolls great. Heat levels accurately described

I'll always order the Pad See Ew at Thai restaurants and while the noodles were thin (like egg roll noodles) instead of thick the flavor was great! My boyfriend gets the red curry every time. We walked in and order and about 10 or so minutes after we got our food to go. read more

Every single time when I order for pickup on the phone, the ladies picking up are always so rude. Food is good but I feel as if they would get more customers if they were nicer. The place is clean I guess but it's very outdated for sure. read more

Thai Kitchen 2 - Panang Curry - Thai Near Me - Springfield, Illinois

I love love love Thai food and I travel extensively all over the country. This might be the worst Thai I've ever had. One bite and I spit it out and threw it away. It looked bad, smelled bad and tasted bad. Simple green curry chicken. Even the rice was dry. Still looking for a decent Thai place in Springfield. read more

We really enjoyed the egg rolls. I would not recommend the spicy chicken. The flavor was good, but the chicken was almost all breading and very tough to chew. Whatever chicken was inside the breading was stringy and tough. There were very few (if any) chunks of chicken in the dish at all. When I picked up the order, the younger server was very nice, but the older woman seemed mad that I was there. I will try again with a different dish. read more

Great for carry out - always ready in 15 minutes or less - consistent quality Thai - my go to carry out

We absolutely love thia kitchen 2. Service is always quick and friendly. Food is fantastic. We will always keep going here.

Best Thai food in America as far as I'm concerned. Ran by the og of Thai food, nice family owned business, I recommend anything on the menu. read more

I'll start off with the food is wonderful. I got the red curry with coconut milk and it was delicious. The crab ration is cooked perfectly. The menu prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is casual. It seemed like most of their business is take out orders. If I lived closer to it, I'd be a regular. read more

Too sweet, Even when ordered spicy i could still taste sweetness. Something in their Sauce, may be too much corn syrup. The place is also little tacky, half of the restaurant is a gaming arcade, too noisy. The owners kids plays around taking pictures and giggling . We were the only only customers on a Saturday 6 30 pm i should have got the clue when I stepped in. Found a bug in my water, they don't serve filtered water, it's from jug in the fridge. I would not go back here. read more

Very good food. Service is quick and easy carry out. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

We get takeout from here all the time and it is always good. They can have your order ready in 10-15 minutes. A little pricey but every where send to be these days. read more

The food is always delicious. My go to's are garlic pork w/ asparagus and the Bume soup wet. Both are the best I have ever had. Always great food and service. read more

If I could have gave zero stars I would have. They had expired coconut milk in my food database expired cream on my sticky rice. Beware when you eat here!!! Or better go somewhere better. The owner was also very rude when I refuse to pay for the sticky rice because it was taken from my table. She was asking me to pay for it when I was not allowed to eat it. The only thing good was the service. The server was wonderful and saved me from being more sick than i was from the horrible food. read more

Never open!!! I've live down the street from this place and every time I go by it is dark no lights and a sign on the door! Close whenever the want no consistency for a business! read more

A friend of mine recommended that i enjoy this location, her favorite from when she lived her. I have tried. I have really really tried. Spring rolls - pretty tasty, although usually the lettuce inside is a bit browned and there is not a real "peanut sauce". Spicy eggplant - tasty but they batter and fry them Chicken and broccoli - they offer it with a spice level - which i thought was weird, and then the taste... ugh. The chicken was dry, the sauce was,... omg... beyond un-edible. The noodle dishes are edible, pretty decent, but i might just have to give up and try some of the other places in the "city". Staff is pretty friednly and know the regulars. read more

This is my favorite Thai place in town. The green and red curry dishes are fantastic! They do great takeout. It's one of those places that isn't fancy but has really great food. read more

I had no problem with the service, drinks or appetizer, the problem arose when we received our food. I had a pad meal and when my family and i received our food it all smelled terrible. All of the meals we ordered smelled like dog poop and it had no flavor. Also the back of the restaurant was extremely dirty. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I've been to plenty of other Asian restaurants and this one has the quickest service, and also the freshest ingredients. I favor the garlic pepper chicken as it has a balance between savory and spicy. read more

My most favorite Thai Restaurant ever! The eggrolls with peanut sauce and crab Rangoon with red sauce are both amazing to start with. Entrees are all good! Can't list a favorite! read more

My favorite Thai place, hands down! Staff is friendly, good prices, and the food is amazing. Garlic pepper chicken HOT is my go to.

Quite possibly the best pad Thai noodles I've had. I had with shrimp, and medium is a tad more spicy than I expected! And the staff is super friendly and very helpful. read more

Best thai around! I have tried several items on the menu but stick with my favorite, Chicken and Mushroom plus Basil. We visit so often they know my order. The flavor and spice are spot on so be sure to order accordingly, remember you can always make it hotter :) Customer service is excellent and restaurant is clean. Plenty of parking. read more

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant! I've been eating here for 13 years at all their different locations. I always order their Pad Woon Sen (fried silver noodles) mild with pork. I have not found this dish anywhere else that compares. I have introduced this dish to my friends and they also crave it. Their baby egg rolls and crab Rangoon with dipping sauces are to die for! I have always loved the waitress that worked there because she is down to earth and attentive. I haven't seen her the last two times I was there so maybe she is not with them any longer. Great place! read more

The nastiest food I've ever had. We ordered Thai egg noodles with beef, Thai fried shrimp rice and bumme dry noodles. The Thai noodles smelled like cat food and had no flavor and no spice even though I asked for mild. The shrimp fried rice smelled rotten and was mushy, definitely didn't seem fried at all just over cooked. The waitress made us pay full price even though we only took a few bites out of each dish, she was very rude to us about us not liking the food. Bad service bad food I do not recommend this restaurant. ZERO stars. Go to Mekong Cafe! read more

Very bad service. A cashier who was serving was very rude. She almost tossed dishes on the far side of table away from me and just walked away without say anything. I do not recommend this restaurant. I wont go back anymore. read more

The food had no flavor, the shrimp fried rice smelled old and rotten, the beef noodles tasted like cat food smells. The waitress was less than helpful and refused to give any discount. Very rude. Needless to say we left all 3 meals untouched and left. I would never refer this restaurant to anyone. If their was a 0 star it would be it. Left and went to MEKONG ON 2ND ST. They never disappoint. read more

Don't know what happened to all the reviews for this place as they have many great reviews also. Sorry to Saalai S. that you had a bad experience. I did once there also but gave them another chance and have never had a problem since. This place is mostly carry out so your Sat. 6:30 p.m. should be busier comment is lacking since you are from out of town. If you want really bland Thai food - go to Magic Kitchen or Thai Basil. I still have yet to find anything in Springfield this good. read more

My favorite Thai food restaurant in Springfield! Wonderful food and the girls working there are always so nice! I love spicy food and medium is hot...so go easy! Order extra egg rolls as they are always a crowd pleaser. read more

This is one of my top two favorite restaurants in town! The eggrolls and garlic chicken are the same as magic kitchen's(another great place that is too far from me for regular visits and doesn't take debit or credit), and the staff is always friendly. read more
