I didn't know they usually aren't open in the middle of the day, but we walked in at 2 and they welcomed us in. Super cute/cozy ambiance. 3 different ladies serviced us and were so sweet. The food was amazing. We licked our plates clean. We had the chicken and shrimp stir fry and the chicken and shrimp coconut curry. Nothing was too salty or too sweet, just perfectly balanced. Look I've not had Thai food this good in years! I'm 35 minutes one way from this quaint restaurant and will drive here because the food is way better than any Thai food in olive branch or Southaven. I drive thru this area frequently. Thai food seems odd in such a little Mississippi town, but I'm an adventurer, so decided to give it a shot. The interior is nicer than I expected, very zen like. I gather from reading other reviews that the man waiting tables is the co owner & husband of the chef. He is bad at it! He convinced me to try the golden curry after he told me they were out of Massaman, then completely disappeared after taking my order. Finally he came to bring me my food & I was able to order a Thai tea. After bringing it over, he disappeared again. Mind you, there was only one other two top in the restaurant. The portion of curry was very small. I don't have an enormous appetite & literally have ALWAYS taken half of my curry home anywhere else. Here, I finished every bite and could have eaten more, had it been there. Honestly, the food was delicious, just expensive for the tiny portion. Once i finished eating I waited. And waited. Then waited some more to pay my bill. It was at least 20 minutes after I finished, and even then, I had to go up to the bar while there was a customer picking up a to go order. $29 for my curry and small Thai tea, including tip. I'll go elsewhere next time I'm in town. read more

Amazing surprise to find authentic Thai cuisine in Como. Absolutely delicious! My Tofu Pad Thai was the best I have had in years. Spiciness levels were well adjusted to individual preferences of our group. Loved seeing the entire family working together. We only ate in because they had just opened and no one was there. Just driving down the interstate headed to Alabama trying to find someplace to eat and stumbled upon an absolute gem!! We ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken and cashew chicken (A little on the safe side) but it was delicious and fresh and the chicken was not breaded it was very flavorful. This place is a diamond in the ruff. If you're looking for authentic Thai food that tastes amazing, then you must come here. It is a bit of a drive, but we will make the trip any time. The only bummer part is that you might need to wait a while if they're super busy because the place is a little small. I would suggest you have a group of four or less if you'd like to get seated quicker. They are real busy for dinner, so make sure you plan accordingly. My wife and I ordered the fried rangoon, a soup (don't remember which one), pad-thai, and fried rice. It took a bit to get to us which was understandable for how busy they were, but it is highly worth the wait. Every bite tasted authentic and cooked to perfection. We had no complaints about the food whatsoever. We spoke with the a manager to give the compliments to the chef. When the manager came back, he said the chef was his wife. They are great people and very fun to talk to. I recommend everyone to give it a try because you won't be disappointed. read more

The flavors are so amazing! Quite the departure from what you'd expect from a small north Mississippi town. The Rangoon Mississippi is hands down some of the best I've ever eaten. The house made duck sauce is off the proverbial chain! The owner, Larry & his wife (does the cooking) Peach are quite the personable pair. Who would have thought the best Thai food in the area (that I've tried at least) would be down in a quaint little area in Como, MS? The restaurant is run by a husband and wife from Thailand and San Diego, CA respectively. Their crab wontons are solid and the pad thai the best I've had in a long time. Their Thai tea is super-addictive too, soooooo good! The owner is always conversational too which is a big plus in my book. I live a good 35 minutes from here but have no issues making the trek for awesome food provided by a cool couple. read more

The Rangoon Mississippi & the Tomkah (coconut soup) were both amazing & definitely recommend both as starters! We all had perfect & delicious dinners!! I had the pad Thai with tofu which was perfectly cooked & crispy. A friend had the shrimp pad Thai, another had the pineapple hut which she is still raving about. There was not a morsel of food left on any plate! The service is wonderful, prices are so reasonable and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening although ours was a business dinner.
