I like Thai House. A lot! I think their flavors are awesome. The staff is generally pretty good. I mostly order takeout, and they're fast and always get it right. But lately, something is... up with the food. It really messes me up. Internally. If you know what I mean. I thought it was just the spice level (I used to do 4/5), and so I cut that down to 3, then 2, then 1... no more spice, but the food is still takin me down. Not sure what's happened, but I can't eat here anymore. In short: love the food, love the service, but Pepto is no longer an optional associate of ol' Thai House. We ordered take out and it was available quickly and was hot and fresh. I ordered the waterfall salad, it was delightful and had a decent amount of beef. Often waterfall salads don't have a great ratio of beef. My friend ordered the yellow curry and it was too spicy for her to eat and it was ordered as a 1 heat level. I have a very high spice tolerance, and when I tried it I agreed it was more like a 4 spice level. We also ordered cream cheese wontons which were perfectly creamy and crispy. read more

We had a great experience! The staff was so cute and friendly. There weren't many people there for dinner on a Monday night, so our food came out hot and quick. Emphasis on hot, they respect their 1-5 spice scale. The 3 I got was perfect, the 4 my girlfriend got was really spicy. For the Logan area, this place is phenomenal. It is what I would consider a restaurant for people who enjoy fried rice and pad Thai. The service, seating, ordering, and clean up was done by the same woman. She was phenomenal!! The food was fantastic. We got a beef salad, massaman curry, and a house curry. I was disappointed to not see authentic Thai options on the menu. I have been all over the country. Papaya salad, or som tum by Thai people should always be on the menu. I love that item. The beef salad was the best I have ever had. My wife enjoyed her massaman curry, and the peanut curry house special was great. The heat scale is accurate to what I expect. This place has the worst customer service. The food doesn't hold a candle to Laan Thai. They have no Website and they don't answer their phone to call in an order. When I drove down there, I had to wait 15 minutes to be helped and they said it would be 40 minutes for a to go order. Their excuse, "Hey, it's Friday." That would be acceptable if I could have ordered ahead of time. They said I could order through DoorDash. Well, I'm not going to pay the DoorDash fee. I'd rather pay for the slightly more expensive food at Laan Thai with far superior customer service. And guess what, I can order online and they do answer their phone. We frequent another Asian restaurant in Logan but when we looked online at the menu for Thai House, they had things that we liked: Beef Salad and Drunken Noodles. I would think that we haven't been here before because it's off Main Street by about a half of a block. Just don't notice it. The main entrance is in the East side of the establishment, not at the front door. We were seated quickly by a friendly and pleasant waitress. Decor a bit dated but clean. Music was great and at an appropriate volume level. It was especially great because we grew up in the 80s. Customized Spice level was offered for both of our dishes. We both chose 2 out of 5. Still a bit too spicy for me so I will chose level 1 next time. We found out later that zero spicy was also a choice. Other than that, totally delicious! Made from fresh ingredients - we had fresh tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeño, Thai basil, green pepper, lettuce, red onion, green onion and broccoli. The drunken noodle dish was big enough that we took half home for a tasty lunch leftover meal. Pepsi products available. We would recommend this food - not bland and is tasty. I had really high expectations from this place especially since it seems to be authentic real Thai and the positive reviews. But I was mistaken. This is by far the worst Thai food I have ever had. I ordered medium spicy Pad See Ew. And you would expect they cook it with red chili's for it to get the spice. But I was wrong. Instead.. they sprinkle a crushed red pepper packet from a pizza place and call it spicy. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. The broccoli was also really Bitter. I had also ordered a side of white rice but it was cold, dry, smelled pretty funny, and seemed like it was from yesterday. Never in my life had I had Thai food this bad.... We did this as a carry out order. The pad Thai noodles were all stuck together as a big mass which I haven't seen before. Not sure what the problem was but it was quite hard to eat with the plasticware provided (no chop sticks provided). The tom kha soup was ok but nothing special. The Tom Kha soup was so flavorful, a perfect amount of spice for what I wanted - I got veggies instead of a meat, and it was full of veggies - very good! The spicy fried rice was super delicious. TLDR: barely average Thai food with really fast service. There was the only server it seemed at the restaurant but he was quick about getting orders and bussing tables. The downside is when we needed a server, he was no where to be found. Probably because he was the only server who was taking orders and bussing the tables. Food came out REALLY quick. Like, 3 meals in less than 8 minutes quick. So kudos to that. However, the food was mediocre at best, like the Tom yum soup tasted like it was missing something, either the galangal, Thai basil or lemongrass. Just something was missing. By the way, a hot pot is supposed to remain hot for more than... 5 minutes. I'm attaching a photo of the tea candle that was used to the hot pot. Tea candles don't keep anything hot. You need something more robust to be able to call something a hot pot. Pad Thai with pork was good but again not the best. It tasted like bottled pad Thai sauce you can order from amazon. Wouldn't go back truthfully but if you have no other choice then I guess it would be okay if you are desperate for some semblance of Thai food. read more

My family ate here the other night for dinner and had a wonderful meal! The appetizers were incredible, especially the satay chicken with spicy dipping sauce! The entrees and dessert were just as amazing. Our servers were very accommodating, super sweet and able to arrange for us more food on short notice. My son and I ordered of the Pad Kee Mao ( drunken noodles) and the Thai dumpling . Both of the drunken noodles were extremely SALTY and the dumpling were not cooked completely. I couldn't finish my noodles but my son was able to eat his. I've grow up with cooks in my family and the rule is always " you can always add salt, but if you start with too much you can never take it out and the whole dish is trash. " read more

This restraunt is so good! I am here visiting and was cravying Thai food, so my friend suggested this place. I got the Tom Ka soup! It was perfect in every way! My friend got The House Curry dish and loved it! I wish they had spring rolls with rice paper and shrimp with peanut butter sause. We got the fried spring rolls. They were alright. I rarely eat anything fried.. So they lack being my preference. I would like to see them start using something other than styrofoam for their to go containers because they are bad for your health and the environment.. Aside from that everything was great! On Nov. 22 myself and 6 family members had the misfortune to dine at Thai House. Except for one item, supposed wanton soup, which was inedible, the food was OK. Except each item was served individually, i.e., my daughters were served separately as were my son-in-laws, etc., so that everyone wound up eating by themselves, with some obvious overlap. Conversely, whatever you do, do not order at the same time an appetizer, soup and an entree for one person because they may all be brought out at the same time. So if you eat your soup first, your entree goes cold, etc. Obviously, the place is understaffed. My wife ordered the wanton soup and an entree, the soup arrived but the entree was delayed roughly 30 minutes at which point we canceled it. But that's not all. For this atrocious service, we were charged a mandatory 18% service fee. And then the bill was amped up another 9.44% sales tax when state and city restaurant tax is 8%(It's been reported to the Tax Commission). I wonder where that extra `1.5% is going. Unfortunately for me, I didn't challenge the bill at the time of payment. They were busy and I was reluctant to make a scene. When I returned the next business day foolishly thinking they would make amends, I was rebuffed. No can do, When I tried to contest the bill with Discover I was told that they do not allow disputes with restaurants. Though luck dummy, you should have refused to pay at the restaurant. So I'm out 40+ bucks - I was not trying to get out of paying the whole bill only the service charge, the crappy wanton soup and the bloated tax charge. So BEWARE of this joint. If you still choose to go, order one thing at a time and watch those extra charges they tack on. For myself, it'll be a wet day on the Atacama desert before I return. read more

Can't believe how close this restaurant is to Logan High. My kids loved their thai dumplings and chicken satay. The green curry with chicken was very good but just a little on the sweet side as was the pad thai. Tremendous value in the quality and quantity of food received for the entrees. Our waitress was especially friendly and courteous - service with a smile is always appreciated. We were seated at one of the booths next to the window looking onto their green lawn. Food came out very quickly as did our tea and coffee on a Saturday afternoon. I wish this restaurant every success. Lots of parking right next to the restaurant.
