When I walked in, it stank in the rankest way possible. It was like raw chicken rotting in the sun for a week. The reviews were so good that I tried eating it anyways because I assumed it was because of the old building and gross pipes....but nonetheless it was awful. The sushi seemed fresh but it was all very fishy tasting and the seaweed was chewy in an unpleasant way. The lady at the counter was anything but helpful and didn't seem to know up from down. But because I couldn't get that nasty smell and horrible restaurant environment out of my head, I ended up throwing away the leftovers because it just stole my appetite. My brother recommended this place to me after he came here a few months ago. I came here with my wife and we had about 5 different rolls. Since all rolls are $5, it's a good deal, and they have a good selection, and it's fresh. The guy only makes a certain amount, and if he sells out, he closes early. I've been to all the sushi places in Logan, and most in SLC and Utah County, and I'd only go back to Sushi Go for sushi. Why? Because it's inexpensive, it's good, it's fast, and it's easy. I don't have to wait for a table, I don't have to tip, I don't get crappy grocery store sushi that's been in the case for who knows how long and that's more than $4.99 a roll. I can just go in, grab what I want, pay and eat it there or leave. If you're expecting sushi like they have in Japan, don't be stupid, this is American sushi, but it's still good. I have not personally been to this place but from as far as I know the owner, Sam is a great guy with great down-to-earth family he works for. I have known him for many years and I can confidently say that he will provide the fresh and healthy Sushi prepared every morning day in and day out and pass that along to his customers at lowest possible price. I'd read about this restaurant on a FB group and was near the area and decided to check it out! There wasn't a lot of sushi being as it was evening and close to closing time. We chose the spicy shrimp dumplings, smoked salmon roll, spicy shrimp bowl, and a rainbow roll. It was a lot of food for $20! Really like this place. Great sushi at a great price. They have a good variety but quickly run out early in the day. Strongly recommend the jalapeño and Hawaiian rolls, some of the best I've had. I did not find the place to be a good value. We stopped last night and there was very little in the cooler. There were only very simple and very inexpensive items, such as California rolls and dumplings, which we were told to microwave. The microwave dumplings were five bucks as were the California rolls.
