    Thai Grill Fried Rice
    Smrithi S.

We were looking for a new to us thai place to try and found Thai Grill on Yelp. Based on the great reviews we decided to try it. The interiors and the service is great. The food was a disappointment. We got Chicken Satay, Thai grill fried rice, and Pad thai. The Chicken Satay was bland, we wished it had more flavor. Thai Grill fried rice was okay, Pad Thai was a bit mushy. Overall, a bit of a disappointment.

Ran into this place and said why not. Thai Grill is connected to Soma Towers. Walking inside there's plenty of seating. Your greeted at the door....I ordered a Pineapple Fried Rice w/Chicken to go. Pineapple Fried Rice was good. If your in the area check this place out.

Came across this gem! Food was savory and delicious. Came back two days later to try other dishes. And have a cocktail - the mango polo. Lots of fun drinks to try. Bar was well stocked and plenty of seating.

Thai restaurant in downtown Bellevue. It's located at the Soma Towers adjacent a small food court. Mid size space with very modern decor, and all glass windows on front side of the restaurant. Menu has all the standard Thai favorites you find in a US Thai restaurant, along with a selection of cocktails and beverages. Heard from someone that their pad see ew was good so got that with beef as protein, and also got an order of the crispy pork belly appetizer which was $7 during happy hour. The pork belly are in little chunks and are definitely pretty crispy. Portion is appetizer-sized, but for $7 it ain't bad. As for the pad see ew ($16-17), I got it in medium spice level, and it was only a little bit spicy. Good flavors though, and the wide sheet noodles really soaked it in. However, the portion seem smaller compared to other folks in my party who ordered fried rice. Overall, decent meal.

Love coming to this modern Thai spot in Downtown Bellevue! I appreciate the minimalist decor and bar setting. Our bartender Chans provided great service and the owner David is super welcoming. The Pad Thai is super tasty -- top recommendation besides their Espresso Martinis. I've been before and I'll be back again!

Rama Noodle with Chicken (Very Hot)

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner this past week; this was our second time at Thai Grill. Thai Grill is located in Downtown Bellevue. They have a parking garage and accept restaurant validation from Thai Grill. It is in the same complex as a poke shop and Hui Lau Shan (mango dessert place). There is also limited street parking out in the front. The atmosphere is trendy and modern. However, it's pretty casual. They don't have paper menus and so you have to order via QR code using the ToastTab app. I ordered the Rama Noodle with chicken, very hot (the highest star rating they had). My boyfriend ordered the pad see ew and garlic green beans. Both orders came out within 15 minutes of ordering. The Rama Noodle was drenched in a creamy peanut sauce with a distinct red curry taste. The sauce wasn't overly sweet which I was grateful for. Even though I chose "Very Hot" for spice level, the dish tasted more like three stars max (then again, I usually order 4-5 star dishes at most Thai restaurants). The spinach was cooked perfectly and there was a good amount of protein. The noodles are extra wide (and not just chow fun noodles) which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Pad See Ew used the same extra wide noodles as the Rama. They were well coated in sweet soy sauce and came with Chinese broccoli and carrots which added a nice crunch to the dish. The Garlic Green Beans were HUGE. They were long and about 1/4 inch in diameter. They were tasty and had fried garlic on top of them. Portions for all three dishes were generous. Service was great and the waitress came over to check in on us several times. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for atmosphere, 4/5 for service.

    burnt crab rangoon
    Sherus V.

It was a good experience the first couple of times, but we got some take out today and it was awful. 1) the crab rangoons were totally burnt and there was barely any stuffing 2) some of the dishes were overcooked, particularly the cashews were nearly burnt 3) the quantity was very deceptive - the seafood special had a bunch of aluminum stuffed underneath a thin layer of seafood. It looks a good sized portion when you open the box, but the portion is way too small for the price. 4) we asked for a 4 star spice level and everything was bland. Overall, an awful experience that I will totally avoid in the future. High price, poor quality cooking, deceptively small portions - bad combination. Sorry, pictures were taken midway through the meal after the disappointment set in. :(

Came here for a casual lunch with friends. This place is conveniently located in downtown Bellevue and close to the bus station. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the food was reasonably priced and reasonably portioned. Our favorite was the crab ragoon which was so crispy and stuffed with cream cheese. The service here was slightly slow due to the lack of working servers, but eating here was overall positive and casual.

Decent food, but ordered to go for a tofu cause I don't eat meat and got chicken. Just ate the spinach and noodles. Otherwise everyone seems to be nice there upon pick up!

It's nice to find an affordable lunch combo during the work day. They have wide variety of different options. I ended up getting lunch combo C with chicken the first time. An the broccoli chicken the second time.

The Thai grill fried rice is the best here ! We thoroughly enjoyed it and they can make most of the fried rice and curries vegan! I love the fact that they take their time to make the vegan food separately to avoid cross contamination

Indeed, this place is quite adorable, great for girls' night out or date night. They have a sizable full bar for the boozers. Service was fine and kept our water filled. The restaurant is good overall except menu prices run about a buck or two more than my usual Thai places. I suppose that pays for the decorations. Noodle dishes have a sizable markup if switching proteins at $5 beef, prawns, or $8 seafood. Perhaps they use higher quality sources. This location has their own parking. The Food: Crying Tiger, $27.95 - 4 Stars Menu: Grilled glazed marinated New York strip steak Super cute presentation that is also eye-busy, made me pause to think "where do I start." Beef is tender. The side salad is refreshing. Shu Chee Salmon, $27.95 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Grilled wild caught skin-on Alaska salmon in creamy red curry paste with bell pepper, basil I was bummed when I saw this. The fish is breaded and deep fried. I have ordered curry salmon from many area Thai restaurants. This is the first fried version. So unnecessary. The rest of it is good. I quite like the steamed broccoli to accompany the protein. Koong Oob Woon Sen - 4 Stars Menu: House special bean thread noodle with prawns, mushroom, celery in sweet ginger sauce I am a fan of bean thread noodles, aka crystal noodles or clear noodles. This is a common dish found in Thai restaurants. Bouncy, chewy noodle is served on spinach. Their version is less greasy than another restaurant that serves it in a hotpot. This visit is from first half of 2025. Prices are updated to current.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. My favorite dishes are the PHAD SEE EIW with chicken ($16.25) and the THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD (cooked medium) ($20.50). The PHAD SEE EIW has the perfect sauce balance of sweet and savory flavors and comes with broccoli and carrot. The noodles are super long and wide so you know they are fresh and not from the box. The THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD definitely has a kick to it. This dish comes with raw cucumbers, carrots, onions, and basil and is served in a tangy and umami fish sauce vinegar mix. The beef is extremely tasty, tender, and well-marinated. This past visit, my friends and I also tried two new dishes that I've never had at Isarn before- their CHIANG MAI NOODLES (aka Khao Soi) ($17.25) and the MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL ($16.50). The CHIANG MAI NOODLES were beautifully presented with a nest of crunchy egg noodles on top of a creamy yellow curry with soft egg noodles underneath. It was served with pickled mustard cabbage and onions for extra punch of flavor. The MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL reminded me of Vietnamese larb. However, this dish was more savory and less tangy than larb and the basil really shined through. It is quite oily though so make sure to enjoy it with a side of JASMINE RICE ($2.75). Portions are generous for all dishes and I always leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and trendy. It's a great place for catching up with friends and not too loud. I'm a kale hater, but the combination with salted eggs and the purposefully chewy fried steak pieces was just super delicious! Northern Style Sweet Curry (3.75/5): The curry itself is fantastic: super balanced between savory, fragrant, and sweet. The steak chunks unfortunately were just a bit overcooked and chewy. Durian Sticky Rice (4.25/5): Sticky rice has a super satisfying chew and I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Durian itself was sweet and creamy with just a touch funk.
