This place is fantastic, easily the best Thai food I've tried. Booked here for a Sunday afternoon at 5pm, and the place was jammed, I was so surprised, we left about 630 and there were more people coming in. The staff were great, very attentive, service was excellent and no rushing us out of the place as soon as we were done. The decor is very in keeping with Thai, and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere about it, even though it was busy. Very calm and not too loud, which was lovely. The food is delicious, by far the tastiest chicken satay and curry I've had, I wanted to try it all, I'll definitely be back. Unfortunately I didn't have room for desert, maybe next time! read more

Excellent dinner. I had no idea we could find authentic delicious Thai food in the Dublin suburbs. Service was very good. The ambience was nice. Everything tasted great. It's a little tricky to find because it's behind the stores on the Main Street. You have to look up for a stone building with a peaked roof to see the sign. I'd definitely go back. read more

This place is a real gem. You would never stumble on this place so it will just rely on word of mouth. It is some of the best Thai in Dublin. Service is excellent, food is great and the ambiance is always relaxed. Try the combination platter which has the best mix of starters and very reasonable. Also love the Pad Thai. Everything I have had here is awesome. Also a restaurant in Galway of the same chain and a takeaway (not as good though). This is an excellent Thai restaurant! The food was authentically prepared with fresh ingredients. You may order your dish prepared mild, medium, or spicy and we were all happy with the different levels of spice we requested. The menu is extensive and will accommodate children, vegetarians, those who are "not brave" as well as the adventurous. I was happy that the jasmine tea was a real loose leaf tea with good fragrance. The children were happy with their meals from the kids menu, my husband enjoyed his mild chicken pad see ew, and my medium vegetable green curry was excellent- flavorful, delicately spiced, and freshly made. The ambiance and decor were quite nice (see photo) and I thought this was a perfect restaurant for an early bird family dinner, for a dinner date, or to catch up with a friend or colleague. Went to the Thai garden for a birthday dinner and found the experience to be quiet enjoyable. One thing I'll say is book in advance as the restaurant isn't too big and gets busy. We had a table of six and got a number of different dishes. I got the duck with pineapple and cherry tomatoes in a creamy sauce. It was absolutely amazing. The sauce was sweet and creamy and you could taste the curry leaves in the dish. For starters I got spring rolls and tasted a number of others such as the satay which I thought was particularly delicious. Other mains that we enjoyed at the table were the sea bass which came whole and while there were a number of bones it was relatively bone free and didn't cause bother to any of the diners I was with. The service was decent but we all thought the restaurant was slightly understaffed as there were only two waiters for the entire floor which is something that might need to be addressed and is the only reason I docked a star. All in all it was a great experience. The restaurant is very clean as are the toilets. While the chocolate cake appeared to be made from a packet the orange sorbet was incredibly fresh and flavoursome and I found it to be delicious and a great pallet cleanser. read more

We went to the restaurant before and it was pretty good. We decided to order some food for delivery. It was atrocious and a rip off. The seabass was dry (2 pieces received- only 1 on the picture). No vegetables or fruit added. I dared to complain and according to the person that answered my email, what I got was what I ordered. The food is absolutely fabulous! I have only ever ordered takeaway as I have been unable to sit in due to Covid, but the delivery was so quick! The menu has a huge range of dishes to suit anyone's taste. My personal favourite order is the Tiger Prawns in Filo Pastry, Thai Green Curry with Noodles, and a bag of chips. Their prawns are so perfectly cooked and delicious, and the Thai Green - too amazing to even describe! The dish is so creamy and gorgeous and is a pleasure to eat - my favourite dish! Their chips are nicer than any I've ever had - sounds strange on a review for a Thai restaurant, but they are quite honestly the best I have ever tasted! Thai Garden is the kind of restaurant that I will drive across the city for, the food is that good. I often joke that this place is one of the best kept secrets of Dublin 15 because no one outside of there seems to have heard of it, mention it to a fellow Blanchite, however, and they'll exclaim "OMG I love that place!". The restaurant is tucked away behind the main street in Blanchardstown and is spread over two floors. It's pretty small and is always packed of a Saturday night, amazing to see in the current climate. The last time we went they were turning people away so make sure you make a reservation. Most times I have the same thing, flambe chicken panang curry, an amazing creamy curry full of flavour which they pour brandy on and set on fire. The brandy gives it a nice little kick and the theatre of setting it on fire is very cute, particularly when the two older ladies at the next table exclaim "oooooh" in unison. I've gone with my family several times and tasted their food too and it's always excellent but I can't tear myself away from my old favourite. One thing that most asian restaurants in Dublin have in common is that the dessert menu is pretty limited and always seems to include a mini romantica or frozen sorbet in an orange. At Thai Garden they have decent sized menu of desserts that are all made in house. The orange chocolate cheesecake is a little overpowering, just a touch too much liqueur, but the mango bavarois is incredible. The service is faultless. The staff are quick, efficient and extremely friendly. They are the type of waiters who remember you even if you haven't been in weeks. One tip is to go with someone for their birthday, the staff bring out a little cake and they all sing and they are really genuinely happy to do it, brilliant for making a holy show of your friend, but also a nice personal touch on behalf of a team who really value their customers. read more

This is a lovely little thai restaurant, great for an evening out with friends. The place is fairly small and you have to make sure you reserve a table if you want to go out on a Saturday night, but it's well worth it. The service is good, the menu has a good selection and the wine list is really good and not overpriced. We went there with a group of 5 and every dish we ordered was delicious. From the chicken skewers to the delicious fried prawns (the groups fav starter), from the green curry to the chicken in hot garlic sauce every dish was everything met and even exceeded our expectations. We had a booking for 8, and arrived a few minutes late. We were brought to a small room on the second floor, and it seemed quiet. Within 10 minutes the room was packed, so you're definitely best off getting there with time to spare. For starters I had Satay chicken - big chunks of chicken with lots of sauce. Thumbs up. For the main I had (this may not be the accurate title) chicken Pa Nang curry, flambéd. The flambé certainly added some excitement, not to mention a lot of flavour. It seemed to be a green curry but with added molten brandy. One of the nicest mains I've had in some time. The dessert was standard enough, just a lemon cheesecake. A very nice cheesecake, but a cheesecake nonetheless. The price was quite reasonable, and the staff were friendly and made no attempt at rushing us out the door. Went there for dinner in a Friday. Place was pretty full and deservedly so. Lovely little place which serves top notch food. Started with the spring rolls which were Devine and came with dipping sauce which I could almost drink a pint of. Went for the beef pad Thai which looked a little unassuming but packs in a lot of flavour for the dish. Had a nice little kick to it also. Just off Blanchardstown village this is probably my favourite place to go for dinner in Blanchardstown. Makes a nice change from heading into the city centre for a meal. The staff are lovely, good atmosphere and the food is great. Favourite things from the menu are the Nang Ay (Tiger Prawns in Filo Pastry with a sweet chilli dipping sauce) and the Thai green chicken curry (medium spiced) with steamed Jasmine rice. Just lovely! Hands down, this is the best Thai restaurant I have been to in Ireland. Pad Thai is my absolute favorite food and I order it at nearly every Thai place I go to, largely for comparative purposes. In the last six months that I've been living in Ireland, I've been disappointed by every attempt. Some places have served it with peanut sauce (no), others clearly use ketchup in their base (also a no-no) and some presented a plate of noodles soaked in a vaguely sweet and spicy chili sauce with a few bits of chicken and scallions mixed in and called it Pad Thai. Given my numerous unfortunate encounters so far, I wasn't expecting Thai Garden to be as good as it was, but their Pad Thai was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, with lots of plump prawns, egg, chicken, very spicy and well seasoned, this Pad Thai has moved to the number two spot on my list of Best Pad Thai I've Ever Had. After the first bite, I nearly started tearing up at how good it was! (No, the spiciness didn't have anything to do with that!) The service was friendly, efficient and very fast, and there was also a plate of prawn crackers on the table to nibble at while we waited for our food to arrive. My boyfriend's sweet and sour chicken was also very tasty and cooked with a load of vegetables. We will definitely be coming back! read more

This place has excellent food, great ambience, but very slow service. I've been here more than 5 times and I've had to get the waiters attention each of those times to be served. It is worth the wait if you have the time, but getting the bill at the end of the night can be frustrating. Having said that, the food is superb. The Thai green curry does not disappoint. read more
