My first time and will never going back, doesn't taste like Thai food. Very disappointed please don't waste your money there.

First time here. Lunch special was $9.99 but if you want any meat, add $1 or more. Thai tends to be pricey but the portion size was ridiculously small. Flavor was ok but not perfect and definitely nothing special. No need to come back. It will likely meet its fate in Ladera and be gone unless they're willing to make some serious adjustments. And since this is apparently a 2nd location for the owners, they're probably following their same formula. Which to me is a recipe for disaster. The drunken noodles were horrible. No flavor. The salmon curry was the weakest I've had and no flavor and salmon was dry and over cooked.

Two stars based upon our 1st and only visit (ordered take out) Ordered the following: Spring rolls (fried) Cashew with chicken entree Broccoli with beef entree Kid's "lo mein" noodles with chicken (they were described as lo mein but were Thai rice noodles.) Wonton soup (small) Shrimp fried rice Total was nearly $70 Spring rolls were small, crispy on the outside and mushy in the center. Cashew chicken (ordered as a spice level 5 on a scale of 1-10) was very flavorful, with slices of chicken and vegetables that still had a slight crunch. The dish didn't quite come together... I think because it seemed like the veggies were layered with a small portion of chicken and just a few cashew. My daughter didn't like the kid's "chicken lo mein", and I agreed that they were overly salty and greasy, with barely any detectable chicken. The beef and broccoli was good. The best of the meal was the wonton soup. A clear broth, with still-crunchy vegetables and tiny wontons. It had a cleaner, more refreshing taste than typical wonton soups. Person staffing the register seemed new and didn't know the menu. All staff were very friendly. Kids' menu was not printed, but is available verbally upon request. For the $70 we paid vs the mediocre quality food, it is overpriced. read more

This place just opened a week ago. It took over Dickeys BBQ in Ladera Ranch. It is pretty new so I have to give it some time to adjust and improve. The were 3 staff...one serving...one cooking...and one runner. We came on Wednesday around 6:30pm. We were greeted and seated right away. The server came to take our orders and was very nice. It took probably 10-15 minutes before our food came, which wasn't a long as some people have said on their reviews. The food came out nice and hot. The flavor was good. The endemame had really good spicy flavor. The portion is a little smaller than expected. Overall it is a decent place. The interior still look like Dickeys so it will need some of their own decor. We live in Huntington Beach, we were driving by the area and spotted Thai Fix, Trina out its the same owners as HB. We knew we can always count on their food & service! Love the fresh menu and the staff is so friendly. This one just opened but already is getting busy my favorite is Everything on the menu! I keep rotating items because it's all so yummy. This was our first time here. The restaurant almost full on a Friday night which was great for a new restaurant. We ordered the Crying Tiger and Shrimp Pad Thai. The Crying Tiger beef cut was not the best compared to the Thai Garden in Foothill Ranch, but the spicy green sauce makes the dish really good. Overall, it was a good. The Pad Thai came almost half an hour later, and it was not worth the wait. The tangy orange sauce tasted too sweet for us. read more

Just tried Thai Fix today and loved it. My daughter ordered the Crying Tiger and I had the Sweet & Sour Pork. The Crying Tiger was tender, well seasoned, and came with a delicious green spicy sauce. My Sweet and Sour Pork was lovely as well. I love the crispy lean pieces of pork and the sauce was just the way I liked it, sweetened with pineapple. We also ordered Beef Pad See Ew a la carte. The dish was so delicious. Loved that they had plenty of beef pieces to go with the noodles. Not salty like some other places. We finished our meal with the Mango with Sticky Rice. The sticky rice was sweetened just enough with the ripe mango. Service is friendly and food was brought out in good time. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. I am definitely coming back to try their other dishes. read more

Tried for the first time and selected a 3 out of 10 for spice level and the Tom yum soup was way too sweet. Yellow curry was also way too sweet at a 3. Might taste better next time with more spice. Also don't order extra vegetables in your soup as it replaces the juice and we got a container of wet vegetables instead of soup. The Chicken Satay was so dry it was thrown away. read more

We decided to try this new little Thai place (that's not too far from home) on a Friday night. We first had cocktails next door at Casa Ranchero since this place doesn't have a liquor license yet. Then we came back and ordered food relatively quickly. There were maybe only 2 other parties there before us, but it took a long time to get our food! Other reviewers have commented on this as well so it is safe to say just expect it to be slow. When the food finally arrived it was good enough to say we will back. We got the crying tiger, broccoli shrimp and shrimp pad thai. If you like spicy, I got the sauce that comes with the crying tiger at a level of 8 out of 10. I would get a 10 next time because it was not spicy enough. All in all, a good experience. We would come back and we hope they improve as they work out the kinks. read more

Not a bad Thai place, and it is pretty close to my house. I am glad we have another option of eatery in Ladera Ranch, kinda bored with what we currently have. Food wise, it is not bad at all. The decor is more contemporary than your regular conventional thai restaurant, which I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I wish they have a squid option for protein but it is pretty minor issue for me. Price is not bad, better than the surrounding restaurants(I don't mean McD of fast food places) that's for sure. read more

Decide to give the resturant a try. I was not very impressed when I walked in with the smell of the restaurant. Very slight "bad seafood" smell. Decided to gamble anyway because I love Thai food. Selected the Crying Tiger. It was just "Ok". The sauce was a 6 of 10 but the meat was the real problem. Seemed like inexpensive round steak and it was not tenderized at all (super tough). A meat tenderizer mallet can do wonders to inexpensive cuts of meat. Owners: consider tenderizing your steak, it will be a game changer. read more

Good Thai. Ordered 3 of 10 and it was plenty spicy for us. Yellow curry is solid, among the best I've had (they call it California curry). They are generous with the curry paste so it is flavorful, not watery. Ruby curry was fine also (close enough to panang for me). Quick pickup, convenient location, polite folks. Was excited to try something new in Ladera as anyone in Ladera knows we don't get many new options. Service was good. It took a while for the food but the nice lady told me it would be a little while based on what I ordered. Food: Coconut Shrimp was ok to me, but the wife loved it so what she says goes. Wings I got Medium Spicy and I love SPICY! It was the perfect amount of heat and the wing were AMAZING!! My favorite and full of Flavor. Pad Thai Chicken was one of the best I've had and the wife agreed! Overall I thought about removing a star for the long wait but the food was excellent and portions were not bad. Price is not bad either and comparable to other local options. Hopefully people go so they can stay around as everything in Ladera seems to go away. A new yummy option in Ladera was long overdue and we will 100% be adding it to our routine! read more

The only complaint is the Spicy Thai Basil just tastes like cooked vegetables, no Thai Basil flavor :( and they did not ask what spice level we would like. The reviews scared me a bi, but I so wanted to like this place. Dipped my foot into the pool by ordering spring rolls and crab Rangoon wontons. The spring rolls were ok, fairly good. The wontons were horrible. Like they were frozen and then microwaved. My teen son who will eat anything took one bite and walked away. The dipping sauce was equally disappointing. I ordered for delivery and the chicken curry looks nothing like the photo on the menu I got in the mail which made me order in the first place. There's barely any chicken. They should call it veggie curry with 1 piece of chicken cut in tiny pieces. It tasted good hence the 1 star, but I paid for veggies swimming in curry sauce. read more

I really was craving Thai and wanted it delivered and it was a let down. My meal was cold, the beef was so dry! And they made it sound like it was so hot and Spicey and it certainly was not. The Larb was just okay and it was also cold. The only good thing was the stickey rice. read more

Got two Pad Thais because we had gotten it here before and it was pretty good, but this time, the sauce was totally different (like sweet and sour) and not regular pad thai sauce, and the noodles were very over cooked and mushy .
