Deep fried cod dish with steamed broccoli
Rika M.

The best I can give this place is 3 stars based on last night's dining experience. And it was mostly based on the service. It looked quite ambient as we walk up. Once inside, it looked cute as well. We did see matching decors throughout the restaurant. People were welcoming. We were immediately sat. The menu has a large selection of food. They have a separate menu for drinks (they were calling it the wine list but I am pretty sure they have other types of drinks.) I saw a display of wine bottles near the register which I walked up and looked at. From the famous budget brands to somewhat high end, the selection seemed good (however, we didn't have any drinks.) I had the (deep fried) cod dish ($29) and he had the (coconut) green curry with chicken. Whereas I found my dish fair (or decent; although the broccoli was a little too done or mushy), his green curry was below satisfactory. The chicken was extremely low quality kind and was very chewy. The curry was watery without distinct flavors. Meh!! Unfortunately, the current rating of 4.5 stars was undoubtedly misleading or misguiding. Well, we were in Kennewick for a quick overnight stay so I don't think we will ever have to eat here. End of story....

We dined in for dinner. We loved the atmosphere with the nice table cloths and plates at the tables. Food is served family style. All the food we got was great. Chicken satay, pot stickers, pork pad Thai and Thai tea. The service was outstanding as well. Very attentive and friendly

Server was knowledgeable about menu and spice levels which was very helpful. Food arrived in a timely manner. Lots of seating availability. Tables not booths. Clean and presentable. Decent pricing, serving amount could be bigger.

Absolutely delicious! I have been wanting to try this place ever since I moved to the area and I was not disappointed! I have tried many Thai restaurants and want to say this became one of my new favorites because it feels authentic. Very tasty dishes and perfect size portions. The restaurant is quaint and charming. Service was great- staff was on top of it and very attentive. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and got everything to go, and wow--I was seriously impressed…read more We started with the potstickers, which were perfectly cooked and really flavorful. The crab fried rice was phenomenal--easily one of the best I've ever had. I also tried one of their lunch specials that came with tom yum soup (unbelievable), white rice, pad Thai, and cashew nut chicken loaded with veggies. Every single item was on point. Honestly, this ended up being one of the best Thai food spots I've ever been to. I wasn't expecting much going in, but it completely exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend.

Food: 4 Decor: 2…read moreService: 4 My go-to spot for dinner in the Tri Cities area. I came here at least once a week for several months, so I've tried most of the dishes on their menu. Overall, solid mom and pop Thai restaurant and would definitely return. My go-to would be a papaya salad, chicken satay, and a main dish with an occasional mango sticky rice. Fresh avocado Rolls Rice wrap with fresh avocado, fresh vegetables and rice noodle. Served with hoisin and peanut sauce 4/5. Very large, tasty avocado rolls filled with lots of veg. Chicken Satay Marinated white chicken meat with yellow curry powder and coconut milk. Served with cucumber salad and peanut sauce 4/5. Tasty satay. One of my go-to orders. Papaya Salad Green papaya, green beans, tomatoes and ground peanuts mixed with lime juice and special garlic sauce 4/5. Very tasty. One of my go-to orders with spice level 3. Keemao Noodle Wide rice noodles, egg, sweet chili, special sauce, broccoli, bell peppers, onions, carrots, basil, tomatoes and bamboo shoots 3/5. Panang Curry Bell pepper and basil 3/5. Delicious Eggplant Eggplant, bell peppers, onions, carrots, basil and chili sauce 3/5. Healthy Garden Broccoli, celery, cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts 3/5. Ka Prou Gai Kai Dow Ground chicken sautéed with bell peppers, garlic, green beans, basil top with fried egg 4/5. Tasty well-seasoned ground chicken with nice heat. Three Flavors mujcha Deep fried Tilapia top with three favors sauce. Cook with bell pepper, garlic, broccoli and onion 3/5. Service is always friendly.

We visited Aki Sushi expecting a simple, decent meal based on the high ratings, but unfortunately…read morethis was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in the Tri-Cities. Service was disorganized from the start. My wife requested water with no ice, but we were immediately brought a glass full of ice by a different server who wasn't even assigned to our table. From there, communication between staff appeared completely disjointed. The food was equally disappointing. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and received what was essentially plain grilled chicken with almost no sauce--nothing resembling a proper teriyaki dish. We also attempted to order nigiri, but were told the server needed to check with the chef. No one ever came back to follow up, and we were never given the opportunity to order sushi at all. Throughout the meal, no one checked on us, asked how the food was, or tried to correct anything. The only acknowledgment we received was a brief apology when they brought the check, mentioning we weren't able to try any fish--which was exactly what we had been waiting for. The overall experience felt inattentive and poorly managed, and the lack of follow-through made it especially frustrating. Based on this visit, we won't be returning.

Still a great value for a superb vegan meal. Years later not a disappointment. Waiter said we…read morewere the first customers to order this in her tenure.
