Stopped by for a quick lunch and got everything to go, and wow--I was seriously impressed. We started with the potstickers, which were perfectly cooked and really flavorful. The crab fried rice was phenomenal--easily one of the best I've ever had. I also tried one of their lunch specials that came with tom yum soup (unbelievable), white rice, pad Thai, and cashew nut chicken loaded with veggies. Every single item was on point. I love when random Google searches bring out the best gems! I wanted vegetables, so I decided to look up Thai restaurants near me and first on the list was Hae Ha Thai. After checking the photos online I decided to take a chance. I walked in and was greeted by the sweetest lady behind the counter. I checked out their menu and decided on the green curry with vegetables. While I waited the lady was nice enough to provide me with water. I got my order to go, but it was still pipping hot when I got to my room. The green sauce was full of flavor--not too salty or spicy. It had just the right amount of heat that kept me coming back for more. I love the chunks of broccoli, carrots, onions, and other greenery! I eventually stopped, but I can't wait for my leftovers that are happily waiting for me at home! This will be my go to spot when I am in the area! read more

Fresh avocado Rolls Rice wrap with fresh avocado, fresh vegetables and rice noodle. Served with hoisin and peanut sauce 4/5. Very large, tasty avocado rolls filled with lots of veg. Chicken Satay Marinated white chicken meat with yellow curry powder and coconut milk. Served with cucumber salad and peanut sauce 4/5. Tasty satay. One of my go-to orders. Papaya Salad Green papaya, green beans, tomatoes and ground peanuts mixed with lime juice and special garlic sauce 4/5. Very tasty. One of my go-to orders with spice level 3. Keemao Noodle Wide rice noodles, egg, sweet chili, special sauce, broccoli, bell peppers, onions, carrots, basil, tomatoes and bamboo shoots 3/5. Panang Curry Bell pepper and basil 3/5. Delicious Eggplant Eggplant, bell peppers, onions, carrots, basil and chili sauce 3/5. Healthy Garden Broccoli, celery, cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts 3/5. I like this quaint and a bit out of the way restaurant. We started with the avocado spring rolls (usually your find meat or tofu options) so this was going to be a treat. But trying to find the smidgen bit of avocado was like finding a needle in a haystack. I won't order that agin unless I can see the slice of avocado protruding out of the lettuce. our main was Pad Thai for me & green curry with broccoli for my partner. The flavors were outstanding. I placed my order for soon after they re-opened for dinner and it was waiting for me when I strolled in. Ordered online while on the road and we were given the time it would be ready for pick-up. We were there two minutes early; used the lav, asked for an extra to-go vessel to mix the rice & sauces w/o incident and were graciously accommodated. Our lovely grand daughter brought us food from this establishment. We ordered by telephone and the noise was very loud and they got our order wrong. However, the pad Thai and shrimp dish were very fresh and good. The avocado rolls on the other hand were an absolute rip off of dollars. One tiny slice of avocado. This place is fronting to be a real Thai place. All of the shrimp and calamari were frozen not fresh. The duck dish was awful and had hardly any Duck in it and was clearly not cooked fresh. I would avoid this place if you like Thai food. It has some good reviews, but those would be people that don't know what good Thai food is. read more

Arrived to the restaurant and was greeted by a very friendly gentleman. Environment is very basic bistro style setup. Menu has a ton of options. I ordered the Avocado Fresh Rolls, and they are a meal themselves. Large portion, enough for 2 people to share. Peanut sauce was amazing! For my entree I ordered the Broccoli lovers w/ chicken, spice level 3 (1-5 scale). The sauce was to die for, and the spice was a rock-in. Next time I might go with a 2. My broccoli with the sauce was so good. My chicken however was over cooked and the carrots undercooked. Not a big deal, as the sauce made up for it. Sorry, visited with a colleague while at a regional meeting and it was so impromptu, I neglected to take pictures. tl;dr = what a surprise gem of a place! Humble atmosphere but terrific food. Even Google Maps (unpaid plug) found this place a little difficult to direct me to, or maybe I was just hungry. It occupies the end of pone of those little mall outposts along the outer edges of the all parking lot and I don't know what it used to be, but it was humble, with hanging ceilings and vinyl tile flooring. But some effort had been put into distracting you from that, little paint flourishes and such, so we sat and ordered immediately as they were not busy and service was speedy and cheerful. It was a little while ago but I will be back. I recall fresh produce, sharp, distinct flavors (no muddiness in the sauces, but also no "sweet-sour flavored peppers" each element, prepared fresh, stood out). Loads of vegetarian options for my colleague as well. I'll gladly bring the-woman-who-lets-me-live-with-her (thanks, Mike) the next time we're anywhere nearby. read more

Came here in search of authentic Pad Thai and haven't stopped ordering it in since. Very casual dining area. Perfect for a nice lunch, not a fancy dinner. Server was very kind. She might've been the owner. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Thai Iced Coffee was perfect. A little pricier than you might find in somewhere like downtown Seattle but it was also larger than expected. I had to ask for a to go cup cause it was nice and strong but my Brother decided to guzzle his. He was pretty jittery the rest of the day. I did try to warn him beforehand ‍ There rangoons were amazing. Or Crab Delight is what they call it. It tasted fresh and were filled so you're not just crunching on fried wrapper. Which I love also but at the perfect filling to wrapper ratio. Panang Curry with chicken we ordered at 2 stars. Pretty spicy so I'd probably go 0-1 next time for myself but it was still very good. Pad Thai with beef here is amazing. I've tried many Pad Thais. Some people drown the noodles in too much sauce. Sometimes there isn't enough sauce. Some places don't seem to have enough tamarind in their recipe or any at all but they make theirs just right. I've only tried a handful of different Pad Thais in the Tri-Cities since I moved here but have fortunately found my go-to here! read more

Dropped in to Hae Ha Thai for supper this evening and was pleasantly surprised. The food was wonderful and the service helpful and attentive. Hae Ha Thai has a lot of vegan options and there were no hassles over the choice. The price was about average for good food. We definitely recommend a visit. read more

I would say one of the best Thai places in Kennewick or better yet Tri cities. my favorite was the crispy garlic chicken. We also ordered Tom Yum soup and the Pad Thai. I like it when it's not too salty, and they just nailed it for me. The best part of my meal is dessert and they're Bingsoo especially, the mango flavor was amazing. I'll definitely go back there and I'm glad to have found a place since I moved to Tricities. read more

Ok so this is a mixed review, Here are the positives: 1 The people who run the place are super nice 2 the menu has a good selection 3 they have Red Hook Beer Here is the reason I'm giving them one star The menu price for cashew chicken is $12.99, when you get to the restaurant there is a sign that says everything except drinks is a $2 upcharge because of inflation I have no problem with that, I understand So, I just paid $14.99 for less than 2 oz of chicken I opened my to-go plate and it looks like mixed vegetables with a couple of small pieces of chicken Although the people are nice and the food has a good flavor, I personally will not pay $14.99 and have to look underneath my carrots to see if there is any meat The food portion is simply not worth the money If there would have been some chicken in my cashew nut chicken, there would be no complaints from me All the Yelp photos looked like good portions, but they were dine in and mine was to go Maybe this was a one time thing (like they ran out of chicken) I doubt I will try again, there are too many restaurants in the area to get stuck eating vegetables read more

This is my current favorite Thai restaurant that I recommend to anyone. It's a small restaurant with friendly staff and incredible food every time. The lettuce wraps are a must have. I've tried several curries (yellow and green are both incredible) and lots of noodle dishes ( pad see ew and pad Thai.) We've had big family dinners here, but definitely recommend calling to see if they can accommodate. read more

Coming from a large city with many Thai food options, to the tricities area, I'd say this place beats any other Thai food restaurant I've been too. The quality and taste is phenomenal. Pork Phad Thai: Noodles were a bit stuck together upon arrival but that seems fairly average. I took my fork and tried to pick it apart and it was perfectly fine. The texture combined with the Pork and the Bean Sprouts and even the sweet salty peanuts.... too die for. (tip: ask for extra limes and a side of rice) Spice request (VERY HOT): This is the ONLY thai restaurant in town that understands how to use REAL spice, 5 stars had me glistening in the best way. So if you cannot handle it, know your place and be reasonable. Iced Thai Tea: 5/5 on its own. One of the best I've had in this town. I will say it is a little too sweet but as the ice melts, it's perfect. Order it. You will not regret it. Passing through, I craved Thai when I saw the sign. I was happy to know they had lunch specials with really nice combos and decent prices. The woman greeted me was so friendly, I believe she was the owner. I told her to choose which curry I should try, she chose panang for me which came with pad Thai, brown rice, and soup. This by far was the absolute best pad Thai I've ever had. Honestly, I came for the curry but that was the biggest surprise. The perfect combination of peanut, soft noodle textures, and the flavor explosion was great. I don't know the magic ingredient, but I loved it. I wanted more. My wife and I often go to Tri Cities to do a costco run and look for restaurants to frequent. Last night we thought we would try Thai. We were met by a very friendly staff that took care of us right away. Restaurant was very clean and pleasant! We started with the Tom Yum soup which was delicious! Next time I will add Pineapple, which would make it absolutely perfect! For Entrees we had the Panang curry with chicken and the Super Basil with Prawns. The Prawns tasted very fresh! Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good Thai restaurant. read more

Food is amazing but the portions are tiny and it is very expensive. Just for a small container of peanut sauce it is $5. I would be willing to pay the prices if the portions were a bit larger but now i just go to Bangkok because their portions are way bigger and prices are cheaper. read more
