Satay was fried and the peanut sauce was good but would have liked it more if it had been warmed up it was room temp. Beef pho was great the brisket was tender and the meat balls were good. Has a lot lot of cilantro so if you like that you'll love this. Drunken noodles we got as a 2 start for heat and the fried tofu was really good. The sauce used was overly sweet for my tastes. My brother recommended this place for Thai. We arrived and they had a big party that was ending. The servers were great about getting the tables cleared and getting us seated right away. This place was not too far from my hotel so I took a walk over and had dinner on my first night. I had the fresh rolls and broccoli stir fry. I ordered a Pad Thai to go, they add a LOT of chicken so definitely worth the price. Service was on point and extremely helpful with suggestions. Loved the friendly smiles from the entire staff. My wife is not an adventurous eater but decided on the drunken noodles with beef. She loved it and asked me to try and make it at home. So kudos to Saap for getting her out of her comfort zone. The Pho y'all was exactly what I was hoping for. I've had pho at so many places so it's hard to surprise me. It was clean, flavorful, and filling. The noodles weren't overcooked and the size was just right. Grandma also makes the Lao Dipping Sauce and guess what...Amazing with an emphasis on Zing! The ambiance is nice and very clean. For a small family owned and operated restaurant this one Shines. They mistook my order and forgot to add the pineapple, but I brought it to our servers attention and she didn't just give me pineapple as a side but she took it back & the cook even reheated all of my food so it was the correct temp. The pho was pretty basic with no depth of flavor that it had been cooked all day. There were no veggies in it or options for a veggie pho like other places. The medium probably has more noodles than the large order of pho. When I saw the large pho come out to the other table I had asked our waitress if she already plated my pho because I wanted to switch to a medium and she said yes. She in fact, had not as it still took about 5 minutes to get our food. The tops of the siracha and hoisin sauce were all crusty and the edges of the tables and walls were dirty. I believe this place just opened a couple weeks ago so it shouldn't be dirty or look dirty already. I went in there with a positive outlook on the place but the food was bland and the staff was not friendly or accommodating when I wanted to switch to the medium bowl of pho. The Lao Thai Kitchen is amazing! I am so glad I saw it driving by on Road 68. The noodle dish I got was FULL of chicken, noodles, and veggies, and the sauce was spicy and delicious! The portion was huge, easily split between 2 people! The young woman even brought my to go order out to my car because my dog was with me.
