This has been one of my best places to eat but unfortunately this will be my last because I come out to my car after I paid my $90 bill and the guy working inside comes out following yo our car just to tell us why we didn't leave a tip ... My husband and I have tried to come here a few times but have bad timing. I had asked previously about vegan menu items and was given some suggestions. We ordered some fresh rolls and two orders of the spicy veggie coconut noodles. The fresh rolls were some of the best I've ever had (they put avocado in them and it's the best thing ever). The peanut sauce is also very good. It's really hard to find a good peanut sauce and this is up there with some of my favorites. The noodle dish was very good. The noodles were actually spicy and I appreciate that. The fried tofu was left in big squares which I enjoyed because I hate searching for pieces of tofu. My only complaint is I wish they would add more veg to the noodles; some broccoli or something but that's if I had to find any fault in it. We will return. read more

This unassumingly named place not only has hands down the best Thai food in the Upper Snoqualmie Valley but is just plain one of the best restaurants in the area, Thai or otherwise. It is not your ordinary suburban Thai restaurant. There is so much mediocre and even downright bad Thai food out there, and this place is head and shoulders above that level. It has gotten even better since we started going there a few years ago, and they have recently added some new and exciting dishes. The menu is surprisingly broad for such a relatively small establishment. Vegetarians, come running! You can substitute steamed or fried tofu in any of the meat option dishes, and you can even get extra vegetables if you've had enough tofu. This is extremely refreshing in the otherwise meat-oriented Snoqualmie Valley, and greatly appreciated. Beware of the spice level, however. They aren't kidding when they say their spiciness is hotter than most. Think carefully before ordering more than two stars, which are plenty for us, and we like spicy food. Better to request a side of hot sauce to jazz things up with, if necessary, than to order too many stars, because once those stars are in there, you can't take them out! Regardless of how many stars you like, if you are a starch fan you must not miss their new appetizer item called Calm Before the Storm, an absolutely scrumptious plate of warmed, gooey puff bread with divine peanut dipping sauce. I can't quite give the place five stars, much as I would like to. It is outclassed in cuisine and ambience by a few Thai places in Seattle and Bellevue that we patronize. Perhaps this is not a fair comparison, given the different demographics. But I'll also have to say that not everything we have tried has been top notch. The spring rolls, for example, are underwhelming in terms of what they could be, and the Phad Thai - the ultimate test of any Thai restaurant - while very, very good, isn't superb. It's a bit sweeter than ideal - although not cloyingly so - and they could be a bit more generous with the sauce and condiments. This isn't going to stop up from going back there, though. They are now taking phone orders, which is a welcome change. While earlier there was no stated policy against phone orders, we found that they simply never answered the phone. We confirmed last weekend that phone orders are now being taken, and we even observed one in progress. Enthusiastically recommended! We will be back again many times in the future. read more

We have called in/picked up the exact same basic order about a gazillion times. Consistency is our primary focus as we R both career food&beverage people. Stopped to get gas, noticed this restaurant in the same parking lot. Saw the good reviews and the menu had a lot of unique options. Ended up getting the crispy pork belly dish and added beef. Wife had the wok Rama. Everything was made to order and had fresh ingredients and was well priced. Next time we drive over the pass we will stop again. read more

When my family and I headed to Snoqualmie Falls, we knew we would have to look for a local restaurant to eat lunch. We decided to try Thai Eatery based on all the great reviews. Our server was sooooo friendly and did a great job handling all the tables on her own. The restaurant itself is very spacious and decorated nicely. As for the food, it was mostly good - certainly not the best Thai food I've had but nothing really spectacular, either. I had read another Yelp review that their hot wings were disturbingly big, yet when we ordered them, they were tiny and shrunken. However, this was our favorite dish of the meal. Crispy, tasty and not too spicy for the kids to enjoy eating. We also ordered the Beef Noodle soup, which was a generous portion. The Chicken Drunken Noodles were flavored well, although I do like my wide noodles a little less mushy. I mainly ate around the noodles and enjoyed the variety of vegetables (cabbage was a nice addition). My husband ordered the Prig Khing pork belly, which he enjoyed ok. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, and the food was pretty good. I think we would return if we are back in the area and try some of their other dishes. read more

Started looking for a new good Thai food restaurant that was NOT in Redmond-Bellevue-Seattle triangle. This place is highly rated, Snoqualmie is pretty cool, so GAME ON! and then we arrived.... The first thing you will notice is that while technically not a part of the Gas station 50 feet away, your view is of cars filling up and headlights hitting you in the eyes. on the plus side, we did not hear ding, ding...ding, ding, all night from the cars driving to the pumps. The service was good, no problem there. the food was OK, kind of what you would expect from a restaurant so close to a as station. the Thai ice tea was a dissapointing, too much condensed milk and sugar, not enough tea. How the heck can you mess that up? Would have been happy to trade quantity (large portions)for quality (real B-). the prices would lead you to believe that this was a top drawer place..It is not. We ordered several different things from Dirty Noodles, Curry Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Jungle Crispy Chicken for four of us. My go-to is the Drunken Noodles, but I've tried a few different dishes here and they've all been extremely flavorful and absolutely incredible. Caution: The food is on the spicier side, so if you're used to getting 4 stars (like me), go for 2. Yes, they're short-staffed, but you'd never be able to tell by the quality of the food. Food is good, but worst service ever! Owner is very rude and disrespectful. Never been treated that way before. Takeout order was supposed to be ready in 30 min. Got there on time, and food took close to an hour, and didn't get a single apology. Instead the owner was rude, and decided to accuse me of not knowing how a restaurant operates, stating that pad thai always takes a long time to prepare. I don't mind waiting, but he was the one to tell me to come in 30 min in the first place. If it was going to take longer, he should have said so from the beginning instead of wasting my time. And some of the food was ready after the initial 30 min and sat in the counter for another 30 min. When I told him I was concerned that food might be cold already, he laughed and told his cook that I was being ridiculous and to warm up the food so that I stopped complaining.
