I have eaten at many other Thai food places around Seattle, Redmond and Kirkland and have had better, but when I am around 98019. There are only 2 choices if you want good Thai food in Duvall, and this one beats the other one hands down! Portions are bigger and the chicken phad thai is great. When I'm in town. Pleasantly surprised! The reviews are hot and cold on this place so I've been hesitant to try it. Thai food is one of my favorites and I'm really particular about it. It needs to be fresh, creative and flavorful for me to return. The food we had was all of those. We tried the Masaman curry, fresh rolls, peanut sauce, Angel Wings and garlic beef. It's not the best I've had but it was certainly delicious enough for me to want to return to try more dishes. The wait staff was attentive and intuitive to our needs. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. We will be back for sure. I had the Mussamun curry, which was incredible. The chicken satay was really good too. The service was friendly, but the food wasn't amazing. The tea was good, but the pad Thai was dry and doesn't hold up to other Thai places. The chow mien was ok, but again, a bit dry and unimpressive. Was here for lunch so dinner may be more exciting and could be worth a try. Very tasty dishes. Tried the yellow curry, vegetable combo stir fry and a basic chicken and veggie dish. Very good sauces used for entrees. Also had bbq pork for appetizer which I can say is the best I've had by far, they grilled it first and served over spinach leaves. You can taste the grill in all the veggies which was very good. I love these guys. We've been in many times, and always have a wonderful time. In spite of a recent review, we've never been ripped off here, but have been turned onto some special items not generally available anywhere. The mien kam (sp?) last summer was a fabulous treat after the owner returned from Thailand with some secret ingredients, and was accompanied by the history of the sauce recipe. It may be true that regulars do get some kind of special treatment, but that is part of the charm of a small community - for those who can fall into it. read more

Every meal is always fresh, the service is always friendly, and I have always been served scrumptious food in a very unpretentious manner. You will be MORE than pleasantly surprised as it is truly in the "back of the beyond" and about the last place one would expect to find Thai food that rivals ANY I've ever eaten ANYWHERE(NY, SF, LA, you name it!) The spice chart is accurate and the food is always delicious. Everything appears to be made only upon order, and the plates are so attractive when served that it is hard to dig in. I think the cook must have had a bad night since the food here is usually very good, but was not so good this time. The Satay appetizer was very good; however, the Cashew Chicken was way too salty, lukewarm, and the portion was smaller than usual. I also thought that some of the chicken pieces had an "off" flavor. I just had to write a review after my visit last night. Poor planning on my part had me searching for an open restaurant at 9:15pm on a Sunday evening near Redmond Ridge. After getting turned away at several other restaurants that were closing, I did a search on my phone's GPS system to find other options. This came up as one of the closest so I gave them a call. "Ake" answered the phone and said they close at 930 but they want us to come in so they would make sure to wait for us. Sure enough, we pulled in at 930 and he greeted us at the door and was incredibly hospitable, never made us feel rushed and was genuinely happy to have us there even though they would have normally been closing. The service was excellent and friendly, speedy without rushing us. The food was excellent, including the pumpkin red curry, my new favorite! Thanks again for the extreme example of hospitality. I'll be back with friends next time I'm even close to being in the neighborhood! read more
