First time here for lunch with my wife recently but it won't be our last. The place is a quaint converted house with tables in a couple different rooms. We were greeted, seated and given water without asking, nice. The food is undoubtedly some of the best Thai we have ever had. Both dishes were plentiful, fresh and very flavorful. I've never left a bad review before... but I can't help it. I called to order a dish and the lady hung up on me after she took my order because I wasn't speaking my phone number slow enough. Instead of giving me another chance, she says "never mind, good bye" and hangs up. Because I took responsibility for speaking fast, I called back and politely gave her my phone number. When I picked up the curry it was practically just the minimum, half cooked carrot and potatoes, a bunch of tofu, and base. Definitely disappointed on many levels. Won't be back. read more

Lovely place for a date night! Made a wish/prayer in the enchanting fountain outside before going inside for a delicious meal of hot & spicy soup & mango curry seafood over rice with a fried banana with vanilla ice cream for desert. Whenever I travel, I look for a good Thai restaurant. I can guarantee, you will fall in love with the ambiance and flavors this local diner has to offer. My favorites at this restaurant are: pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice, and chicken eggplant. If you like peanuts, make sure to order a side of peanut sauce and of course some spice if you like a bite with your plates. Medium spicy is my go to. The service is great, very friendly. This is a must have if you are in the area. Coming from the Bay Area where There is so many ethnic restaurants, I was really hesitant to try the one and only Thai restaurant in town. After trying it for the first time I am so glad I did. Got the red and yellow curry, curry chicken soup, pineapple friend rice, pork fried rice and pad see yu for my party. Super disappointing. Was craving Thai and this didn't cut it. Despite the friendly and fast service and lovely outdoor dining area, it wasn't enough to overcome the lemongrass salad that was basically iceberg lettuce and a few shredded carrots with a super sugary lemon grass sauce. Haven't seen that before. The Pad Thai was also really sweet and had little going on consisting mostly of just noodles. Would love to try again but those were pretty basic Thai dishes. read more

Best place for Thai food in Ukiah. Love the pineapple rice, salmon , pad Thai, basil eggplant. People are always nice and prompt whether they serve us for outdoor garden, indoors, or takeout. Make sure to call or check on their listing outside the restaurant for correct times and days open. The website states they open at 11 am 7 days a week. Nope. 11:30, and they are closed on Tuesday, open at 4 pm for dinner on Saturday, etc. Great restaurant, I love it, but disappointed I missed out because I went at the wrong time. read more

The overall flavor was very good and the food was ready to pick up in 20 minutes, but the dishes were still lacking and I've definitely had better. I ordered yellow curry with tofu, but it was mostly tofu, as there were only 2 small pieces of potatoes in it. I found only 3 very thin slices of carrot. It doesn't come with rice, I had to pay for a side of it which I've never seen before. The eggplant tofu is ok, it's swimming in a pool of liquid and grease and the tofu is quite soft. Quite disappointing knowing I paid $30 for it, expecting it to be satisfying. Also, one of the employees opened my food with their bare hands, while running back and forth from the phone to the counter, while not wearing a mask. Most likely won't be back. read more

this spot has been my only go to thus far in Ukiah. I absolutely love their drunken noodles and pad thai. and to wash it all down with Thai tea. Its hard to find really good thai food but this one takes the win around this area. everyone is always so nice and accommodating when I go in there. There have been quite a few times where my food has been messed up but the taste is there so i didn't mind. We had dinner here 2 nights ago. It was very good. The only thing i would change is that the food needs a bit more flavor of aome kind. I tend to have to add salt or hot sauce even to the spicy dishes. We had the chicken stuffed prawns in the egg batter, so yummy. Served with hot and sweet sauce. A perfect combo. We also tried the black pepper chicken. This dish was a bit dissapointing becaise a fine ground black pepper was dusted over the top of the dish. I suppose i thought a coarse ground pepper was going to be thoughtfully cooked into the dish..... not great. We also sampled the deep fried bannana and oh.my goodness... yum!!! This dish redeamed the chicken dish. The banana was hot and the batter fried to a golden brown and served with ice cream. So good. read more

This is the first time my husband and I have eaten here since ownership changed. I ordered 'drunk noodle' (my favorite) medium spicy and it had quite a kick to it. It was so flavorful and much better than their predecessor! Spicy pork fried rice was delicious, too. The Thai tea was a yummy treat. Staff was very accommodating and kind, and remained so, even when they had to deal with a drunk customer that was rude and threatened to write a terrible yelp review. We felt bad for the waitress. It's not an inexpensive meal, but the portions are large. We took half home. We will definitely go back! read more

Ate here on a recent trip... at the time in-restaurant dining was closed due to state rules. Had a really enjoyable dinner on their beautiful garden patio. Especially recommend the salmon cooked in a banana leaf, which we are still talking about almost two weeks later. Live in Los Angeles and am surrounded by plenty of really good Thai restaurants. Thai Dish is right up there with them and the setting is beautiful with friendly staff. Will take a detour to eat here again on a future trip. read more

Food is delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive! I'm vegan and I asked dishes could be made to be vegan and they assured me that they can accommodate for allergies and diet preference. I've had the Pad Thai (-prawns, eggs, and oyster sauce) and they gave me spices to add to it. I had Drunken Noodles the first time I visited. Both were so good!! Don't waste your time anywhere else. This Thai restaurant has amazing food and incredible service. We came here 7 months ago and Pang remembered my drink order (Thai ice tea with coconut cream and low sugar) and dairy free in our food. My jaw just dropped. Pang rocks and totally made my day. I really hoped for more but it was sadly disappointing. Slow service. And expensive for the area. They forgot our soup and when we pointed it out didn't offer to adjust the bill. Not very authentic in my opinion. Even the Thai iced coffee was second rate. Compared to the Thai food I've had in LA and SF, it was below the average places. There is always a problem with owners who don't care to make your food spicy, when you ask, can you please make it spicy. The explanation given to me is we are kind of afraid to make food spicy here..... What is Thai food if you can't ask for it to be spicy. It makes me really sad when places can't get the simple things right. For example at a Thai restaurant i hope to indulge in some bomb green curry or some bomb basil fried rice. Simple two dishes so how is that both went wrong. The curry was watered down and way too sweet when we asked for it to be spicy. The basil fried rice had no basil in it and the chicken was cold in the rice as it was just thrown on top. Both dishes disappointed. I ordered the pad-tour-lun-thow. it is suppose to be snow peas, black mushrooms, bell peppers carrots and meat. I got green beans, carrots, meat no snow peas or black mushrooms. Bland sauce totally flavorless and no garlic as indicated on menu.. Also got tom ka soup. Weak broth, no hint of coconut or lime, no lemongrass, or galangal, no cabbage. It only had meat, carrots and onions. Totally flavorless like it was just chicken broth. Absolutely no Spice in any of the food. And they didn't ask if I wanted it spicy, I guess I should have told them at least medium. Sorry but this just isn't Thai food. read more

I've been coming here for 20 years. The atmosphere and service is the best in ukiah. The ownership has changed but the food is still amazing! A few of my favorites are pumpkin curry, eggplant with chicksn, war wanton soup, drunk noodles, pineapple fried rice, spicy basil.
