I'll be honest and say that the closest I've come to eating any sort of traditional Asian cuisine has been either Panda, Stix, or Yoshinoya... Sort of close, but in no way traditional. When it comes to Thai food, more specifically traditional Thai food, I'm a complete novice which is why I was so interested in dining at Thai Corner. Thai Corner serves up the finest authentic Thai food in the area with exciting dishes and a unique ambiance. It's a small little restaurant, located right on the corner in the Stater Bros Shopping center, with a wonderful atmosphere that creates a truly enjoyable dining experience... I first walked in at the end of their lunch hours and was greeted very warmly. The folks who run the restaurant are just about the nicest people you will come across... I explained that I had no idea what to get because I've never eaten Thai food before and it was suggested that I try their curry. I believe I had the Yellow Chicken Curry, made with fresh chicken, potatoes, onions and carrots simmered in their special yellow curry sauce with rich coconut milk. It sounded outstanding but got it to go because they were about to close shop in preparation for their dinner service later in the evening. The curry was unbelievably good. It's a must have if you're a fan of curry. The lunch special I got came with white rice and a small salad with Thai dressing... There was also a sweet pastry dessert that I didn't know the name of and have never tasted before that was outstanding, and they gave me a free drink that I also didn't know the name of but tasted like an orange rice milk and tea; all of it was out of this world! My second time in I tried the Chicken Satay made with marinated chicken in a mixture of spices and served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. Unreal! Their menus is huge and I intend to try as much of it as I possibly can... It's a great little place for lunch, dinner, or in my case take-out, with a real mom and pop feel and independent flair... Came here based on the Yelp reviews. This restaurant had the "best" ratings for the area. It was ok. A lot of construction on the exterior of this strip mall, so it was a little chaotic to get to with all of the scaffoldings, etc. When we walked in, we were told that we could not have a table because there was only 2 of us. They sat us against the wall that had bench seating. However, the bench had an uncomfortable "lip"/molding/decoration and the mats were missing because they were being cleaned (?). My husband couldn't handle the discomfort for an entire meal, so we asked to be moved. They let us sit in a tiny table that was close to your neighbor. Ok. What we ordered... Thai iced coffee...complimentary & good Rice porridge...complimentary & decent Yellow chicken curry lunch special-the salad was meager as stated in other Yelp reviews. Iceberg lettuce with slivers of carrot shavings...not worth the effort. The curry was really nice, but the chicken did not have the rich flavors of the curry infused in it. Tasted like it was thrown in at the last minute. Could've been a little more tender. Crying tiger-my husband really enjoyed this. It was better than it's peers at other local Thai restaurants. This dish has never been my favorite. Tasted like a kalbi-imposter. I'm sure every Asian culture has their own version of soy marinated meat, but this one seems to scream "faker" to me. I came here after looking for a good Thai spot and was recommended this place by a couple of different people. I checked out reviews and it seemed promising enough but overall the experience was a bit blah. The wife and brother in law joined me in our adventure to find good Thai food so we decided to try everything family style. A lot of reviews mentioned huge portions, but these were barely enough. Maybe we're all just fat bastards. We had green curry with chicken, pad thai, and crying tiger. Again, we tried it all family style and we ended up order some pad see ew as well to fill our stomachs. Service was a bit lacking was we continually had to request refills on water. Overall this place might have been good a while back, but it appears quality might have dropped a bit. Since our visit we've been to a couple of other Thai places in the area and there is more bang for the buck to be had elsewhere. I'd say it's worth the try, but I'd rather get my Thai fix elsewhere. read more

I ordered for to go for pad Thai with shrimp for $14 & curry with chicken for $11. Be warned, NO FLAVORED at all!!! I was so disappointed by the foods that I received. The portion was so little including 4-5 shrimp and lacked of flavor. I wish I could explain more better, but there were some weird taste on both dishes I've never tried any Thai restaurant before. I got some food to go from the Chipotle and it was way better than this Thai restaurant. No wonder there was only one table to compare the Chipotle where there was a long lines of customers. probably the go-to place for some Thai lunch for most of the companies nearby? it gets really crowded around lunch time so try to be there as early as possible - it's not a big place after all... their lunch special is a pretty good deal, maybe that's why it's a popular place.... for around $10 including tips you'd get a good portion of entree plus a drink! i only tried their curry... too good that i didn't want to try anything else yet?.. for spiciness they'd ask you from level 1-10... i did 7 before and also 10 for my yellow curry - both added more flavors to the curry! loved it! i will be going back and try other more popular dishes - the pak kee mow, crying tiger, and the eggplant basil! read more

There's more food here than lunch so I was bound to take some home! The same amount of courses but now they expand into their upper scale items. Very friendly service here. Ordered the Crying Tiger and the BBQ Chicken with fried rice for dinner. Generous portions, good value for your money. They have a cheap lunch menu as well. I'm not sure about the portions since I was there at dinner time. Being a guy, I don't get too picky on decorations or ambiance although I do notice. I go to a restaurant for the food but it wasn't badly decorated, they had some mismatching chairs but overall, the place is decorated good enough. Clean restaurant I came with a friend around 2 pm on a Tuesday afternoon had the pad pinkow with chicken got mushrooms instead of peppers and onion. I loveeeeeee this thai place! I completely forgot about this hidden gem! My brother and I used to all the time with our significant others. I'm so glad they survived through covid. I'm actually pretty picky with Thai food and this place has such amazing flavor and texture. I remember the crying tiger was also always my go-to. Some places make it too salty, but this place is just right. Tender, juicy and the sauce is *drooling*. I ordered the pad thai today and the noodles are perfectly chewy and firm, just perfect. The flavor was also authentic and yum yums!! My sister got the red curry, also really flavorful and delicious. At one point she looked at me and said "I'm full, but I can't stop eating" same. I found this place on Restaurant.com and ended purchasing a $25 gift certificate for $2. We had to spend $35 to use the certificate so we ordered a slew of food in order to meet our minimum purchase amount. To start with, we ordered the Thai Lettuce Wraps. The sauce that accompanied the wraps was teriyaki-like and very good, not to mention the four different spicy sauces they bring out as condiments. Their Pad Thai with chicken was especially tasty--very flavorful and they didn't skimp on the portion size. The Crying Tiger consisted of marinated grilled beef over lettuce with a spicy lime sauce, which was also delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and the lime sauce gave it a nice kick. For dessert we got the Mango Sticky Rice. This was the most disappointing part of our meal, although it wasn't terrible--I've just had better. They serve it on top of a creamy (coconut?) sauce for which I was not a fan of. Other than the dessert we were very happy with our lunch. For both you have an option of getting a Thai tea or coffee, soup, an appetizer and an entree for a really good price. I was there for dinner time so I chose Thai coffee with Tom Ka soup, chicken satay for my appetizer, and lastly the Pad Se Ew with chicken. It was definitely a whole lot of food for one person so I did take the half the entree home with me. The Tom Ka soup was rich and tasty! Chicken satay was nicely charred and the peanut sauce was very good along side it. The Pad Se Ew is the thick noodles that come with chicken. You can chose tofu, sea food pork or beef with it. Our usual go to Thai place was closed today so we decided to check out Thai Corner and I am so glad we did! I was able to meet the owner of the restaurant and she was extremely sweet and so excited for us to try her food, she also let me know that she and her children own and run the restaurant. We ordered some pad Thai and the pineapple curry and everything was so delicious and prepared really quickly. The curry was full of flavor and spice but not too spicy and the pad Thai was also full of flavor. Amazing food, amazing service and such a cute ambiance.
