A bit disappointed - I made a carry out order. I got the Panang curry, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mow. Panang curry - The flavor was overwhelmingly peanut buttery with an extremely thick consistency. It was so potent that I could barely taste anything else and ended up diluting it at home with some milk. Pad Thai - Unfortunately, this was bland and overly salty. It lacked the usual balance of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors. Pad Kee Mow - This was the standout dish. It had great flavor and was well-executed. Very friendly staff makes you feel like they really appreciate you being there. Owner talks to almost every table. I see a lot of takeout but I like eating at the low-key place. You get to see what everybody else is eating and small enough people will actually ask you what you're having and offered to share a bite. All food is very good. Authentic. The spices really come out and stand alone where they should. The soups and curries are great. The rice dishes are very aromatic. Be sure to check out the specials because they are usually something special too not just a dish off the regular menu that's being featured. The menu is sprinkled with some common options (krapow gai, pad thai, pad see ew) and plenty of specialty items. I love their pad thai with chicken added, served with medium spice, and it is FULL of flavor and heat. With scallions, fresh cilantro, and crushed peanuts, this is a bowl of happiness. I'd also recommend their tiger cry beef appetizer, slices of sirloin served with a sweet & spicy sauce. It's probably enough to serve as a lunch portion for yourself, but better to share and enjoy. All of their lunch plate options come with a choice of side salad or soup, and the hot & sour soup is excellent! Service is quick and very friendly, with business owners almost always in the restaurant, so you know they're active in serving their best food and building that repeat customer base. I was initially impressed with this new Thai spot off of 87th street. Owned by a couple who met in Thailand, the husband helped his wife realize her dream of opening a Thai restaurant. The pad Kee mao was flavorful, if a little on the smaller side for portion size. On second visit, I was confused to have celery, carrots, and cauliflower included in a pad see ew, which is not authentic. Hope this changes. The crispy tofu appetizer was just average. I got the pad Thai, pho, and the Thai chili sampler. Their crab Rangoon's were delicious. I was very impressed that they offer so many sauces with the sampler. The star of the show however was their pad Thai. It was delicious on its own you didn't have to add anything to it however it did come with a side of sauce and lime. I had a great experience at my recent visit to Thai Chili Cuisine. The restaurant is small, but nicely decorated, clean, and bright. I decided to try the pork belly gaprow, and it was amazing. It is one of those dishes I know I will crave and come back for time and time again. The dish was really nicely seasoned, and I got mine medium. It had a fair amount of kick to it, but was reasonable for my palette. If you are in doubt, ask for a mild and the spice tray. Then you can add your own spice. The service was fast and friendly, and at the end of the meal the owner came out and thanked us for coming on such a cold and snowy night. I will definitely be back to try more dishes! read more

I enjoyed the delicious salad, the reasonable prices, the good portions, the first-rate service and the inviting atmosphere during my opening week dine-in early lunch. The chicken laab salad ($10.95) was served just nine minutes after I ordered at the table. It was nicely sized with fresh veggies and plenty of very flavorful chicken. I requested a medium spice level and that was just right - very spicy, but not overwhelming. You can also use available spices to add heat to your own dish. I liked the clean, warm and inviting dining area with contemporary instrumental background music and found the service (which was still getting up to speed) to be polite, professional and attentive with a genuine interest in feedback. Check this spot out with my parents this week and we had a GREAT meal. Ambiance was very cheerful and it was very clean. I suspect they'll be building a vestibule soon because WOW the air from outside hits the whole space. My parents were already there when I arrived. Service was prompt and we put our orders in right away. We started with the Hello Salao Wings - they were super yummy. A nice mix of savory and sweet. For entrees, I got my go-to Panang Curry with beef (yummy and mild was the right heat level for me), my mom got the pad woon sen with tofu, and dad got the grapow pork belly. They both loved their food. The pork belly was definitely the highlight for me. We ended with the mango sticky rice. Unfortunately the mango wasn't the best but we're out of season. We wanted to try this new Thai restaurant and we had to take out. I ordered crab fried rice, tiger cry beef, Yellow curry, chicken, fried rice, but they missed on a couple of appetizers that we were supposed to get and they also gave us an incorrect order of a dish. You're kind of disappointed because we had people over at home and wanted to get the right things. The flavor was amazing the food taste great especially the tiger beef. Cry was delicious. It's a must try and the wings were absolutely amazing too. I called the restaurant and they told me that they're going to fix the incorrect orders but I wish they could have done it right at the first place because we had people over home. Happened upon this hidden gem while out estate sale-ing on a Saturday afternoon. We both had the Pad Thai, one chicken, one beef. We are hooked! The beef, especially, was outstanding, but overall, this was the BEST Pad Thai either of us has ever had. Delicately spiced (we ordered medium) and deeply flavored. Lots of tender meat and...the combination of tangy/sweet in the sauce was that perfect balance that kept you coming back for another bite. Really, PAD THAI PERFECTION. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere festive and cheery. The owner is an experienced restaurateur who honed her culinary skills in both the south and north of Thailand. Such a great new thai place! I have missed great Thai in this area since Sweet Siam left. Came in on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy when we arrived at 630 but was pretty full when we left. 2 couples, we shared crab Rangoon and crispy chicken egg rolls. I had chicken pad thai mild heat, which was hot so definitely wouldn't go higher than that personally. Everyone else ordered medium heat and they were fine with it but did say it was HOT. I found this place going to my favorite sushi place, it's tucked behind a Starbucks and is in the corner of the shopping plaza next to a gym. I got my food for carry out. I started off with the pork dumplings which are Fried dumplings, served with homemade dumpling sauce. The dumpling sauce was a great addition. For my main course I got the crab fried rice with REAL crab meat, eggs, scallions & onions, garnished with cilantro. Many times places want to use fake crab but they have a lot in this dish. I also got the yellow Seafood curry with a mixed Seafood selection, scallions, celery, onions, egg in creamy yellow curry sauce. This will be my new neighborhood Thai place to dine at. The restaurant is bright and clean, with a pretty large menu of dishes that are not as common. The menu clearly lists out all the ingredients and it's well organized. The prices are competitive and lunch entrees come with a choice of soup or salad. We ordered the Spicy Bamboo Salad, Lad Nah, and Pad Woon Sen. The food isn't as sweet as some other Thai places which we liked. However, we found the spice levels inconsistent as our one medium dish was spicer than the hot dish but it is possible they confused the two. The spicy bamboo salad still has the stink of dried bamboo shoots that turned us off but the flavor was okay. The Lad Nah was loaded with vegetables. However, we didn't feel like cauliflower fits the dish. This restaurant just opened so they seem to still be working out the kinks and getting a rhythm. Absolutely incredible food. I love going to various Thai restaurants in the area as well as greater KC and this is easily the if not one of the best Thai places I've ate at so far. I'm always a sucker for Grapow dishes and their crispy pork belly version is absolutely incredible and did not disappoint. My partner had the crispy pork sesame special and we also had the chicken skin appetizer. Even the hot and sour soup served before the entrees were great.
