Pad Thai
Weil T.

Really a 4.5 star. The service is prompt and helpful. We loved the beef and broccoli flavor. The pad Thai had a lot of veggies. Only reason for the 1/2 star is that the summer roll is cut like you would sushi, which makes for a great presentation, but was difficult to eat. It was still delicious. We will stop in again. Also a great stop when charging at the EV station nearby.

The food was amazing. I got a bowl and it was huge. Either be hungry or take it home. Also I chose medium and might I say somewhere else it would be hot or very hot. Beware! Husband got pad cashew with Thai hot and it about burnt him up. He usually can never find Thai hot enough. Learning curve - still great food. Our waitress was very helpful and very nice. Very calm and low key place. Would love to visit again!

This is not my first time having food from here, but it was my first time dining in. The inside is a cute restaurant that is larger than it appears from the outside! The booths were very cozy and the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, some of the best Thai food I've had. I should have stayed in my lane with mild+ because I got the medium and it definitely was a buildable spice, but it was still really, really good. The crab Rangoon was good, a little sweet for my liking, but my friend said it was one of her favorites she ever had. Overall, would come back again, it's delicious :)

Tom Yum Soup

I enjoyed the spicy and tangy flavour of Tom Yum and fried rice. The best part about this place is the spice level, as someone who loves spicy food, I genuinely enjoyed having the option to go until it gets super spicy! I started with medium and I think I can go medium + and a step above.

Our favorite Thai spot used to be Thai Spice until we discovered this place a month ago. The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The drunken noodles are a must have!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue ordering from here.

This is one of our favorites to grab a weekday lunch while we're in the Southside Indy area. The service is prompt and friendly. They have many lunchtime specials for a very reasonable price. On this visit I enjoyed a tofu curry meal with a cup of lemongrass soup and a freshly made spring roll. I had enough curry to carryout for my dinner that evening.'There are so many choices to try. Tasty and plentiful with friendly service at a great price. What more do you need?

This has quickly became my wife and I's favorite Thai place near our house. Everytime we have been, we have been seated quickly, and quickly attended to. The servers are always super friendly, and quick to get drinks out. On our most recent trip, we ordered the vegetable summer rolls to split, and the ginger stir fry with pork for the entree. The summer rolls are delicious. The lemon chili sauce and peanut sauce are packed for of flavor, and add a nice addition to the summer rolls. The ginger stir fry has a nice flavor profile. Fair warning, the medium heat I got packed a punch, and I normally do a decent job at handling some eat. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area that wants fast and friendly service with great food.

My husband and I have eaten her several times, as we live near here and it is very good. We have always been greeted promptly. The owners are usually in here working and are very nice and attentive! We always start out with an appetizer of the Summer Rolls. These are served with a peanut sauce that is just delicious. I usually get the chicken Pad Thai. I know this isn't very adventurous, but I'm usually craving it so that what I get. It is always delicious and more than enough for two meals for me. I tried the heat level as Mild+ this time. I'd say this is perfect for someone who prefers mild food, but wants to have a slight heat. We will definitely be back!

Pad Ped (lunch special size)

Five stars for excellent flavors, quality ingredients, and polite service. Four stars overall though, because of a few things: First, the inside of this place was so cold, we were freezing. I know it wasn't solely us either because our server was wearing a puffer jacket while serving tables. Second, we ordered lunch specials that came with soup and the soup was barely warm when it arrived at the table. Finally, be aware of the spice levels here. We ordered our food with a mild to medium spice level and what came out was so spicy, it was almost inedible. The excellent flavors were there but I had to eat a lot of rice in each bite just to tone down the spice level and it was still too hot.

Exceptional service, food, ambience, etc. We were seated right away and our waitress was very polite and attentive without being overbearing. Our food was brought out in about 10 minutes after ordering and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu.

Classic egg roll. Half portions is two egg rolls.

Thai Charm is ... charming! Our travel club met for lunch on a Saturdsy. Greg took great care of us the entire time. We met in the back room [we can be a noisy bunch so it was perfect]. Separate checks ... no problem. Wait for late comers... no problem. And the food is delicious. Plentiful for sure. No one had room for dessert! We especially liked the little touches including folded napkins with tableware. The group loved it. See photos for food descriptions.

Food was awesome, heat levels are high Thai hot is HOT! I got the padde cashew with rice very good. Wife got one if the soups with noodles medium heat and it was plenty hot for her. Service was superb, hostess was our server and we didnt wish for anything but chopsticks, which we asked for. We try to keep things authentic. Ambiance is very pleasant. Decorated nicely but not over the top. Definitely one of the great locals!!

There was so much duck, it was a huge portion, and the curry was very tasty. The service at the restaurant is also very good, they checked in on me often. It's arriving at 6:30 on a Wednesday evening and being the ONLY patrons in the entire restaurant and waiting 25 mins for chicken satay and 30 minutes for entrees. It seems like more restaurants are prioritizing DoorDash and To-GO orders rather than people who come to enjoy the experience. It's beautifully decorated and has great ambiance. They even have a Pride flag for June. By the time our food arrived I was too hungry to take photos of it and we had to box up most of it to make it to our next destination on time. It's too bad the food takes forever because I LOVE their food. The menu is quite extensive and they have things not many other Thai places have near me. Sadly I will not go back for dinner any time soon.

But for however long we had to wait for everything (menus, drinks, to order, our food, the checks), the food made up for it! When I visit a new-to-me Thai restaurant, I usually get the pad Thai or convince someone I'm dining with to get the pad Thai so I can try it. Pad Thai is my litmus test! The pad Thai here at Chiang Mai Thai Noodle was excellent. Perhaps some of the best pad Thai I've eaten in Indy. It wasn't too sweet, which was nice. Sometimes, pad Thai can get a little cloying, but this one was perfectly balanced. I got it with shrimp, which were great and perfectly cooked. Like I mentioned, I visited with a big group. We all got something different, and I also got to try the Crispy Spring Roll. They ain't kidding -- this is one crispy spring roll. The outside shatters with every bite. I think when I come back, I'm definitely getting my own order of these. Other people at my table got things like curry, tom kha soup and crispy basil duck, and every person loved their dishes. The portion sizes are also huge! I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, here. One thing to note: Their spice level goes from 1 to 6, with 6 being the hottest. A couple of us wanted mild and chose a 2, and it was way too spicy! So if you truly want a mild dish, just go with a 1.

Upon entering the restaurant, the decor was modern, plenty of seating and it was two sides to the restaurant. It wasnt too busy, but it looks like the one server I saw was doing everything. I ordered Thai Fried Rice with chicken and shrimp, medium spice level; along with some crab rangoon bites. The crab rangoon bites were delicious and I did enjoy the sweet chili sauce paired with the bites. When it came to my thai fried rice, I had way more onions than chicken and shrimp in my entree. I only found 2 small pieces of chicken. The only win for me was the crab rangoon bites. I might give them another try, because I do enjoy thai food, but this wasnt the best experience.

The lunch specials are the way to go for your first time, dining. You will not leave hungry. In fact, you could end up with leftovers; depending on your appetite. And the prices are reasonable. They complement the portions as well as the flavor and quality of food. In my opinion, compared to others, don't expect a huge dining area. With most of the Thai restaurants I've dined, the good ones, they're typically small for an almost quiet dining experience. I've found the smaller, the better in taste. It was very clean and open. I have definitely added this spot to my Go To Thai spots in Indy! Go check them out and enjoy some authentic Thai food.
