Crab fried rice, Phad See-Eiw, Khao Soi & Prik King
Carol C.

Great Thai food served by friendly staff in Edmonds! We ordered the garlic green beans, crab fried rice, pad see ew, prik king with beef and khao soi gai. Everything was medium except the prik king which was ramped up to super spicy. Their spice level is legit. Khao soi included slices of chicken breast versus the fall off the bone chicken leg I'm used to. Our server was warm and friendly. She brought me cough drops because she heard me clearing my throat.

The food overall was fresh and decent. The crispy curry came with basically a big piece of fried white something that was way to greasy. The kee mao and wonton were good. Service was good. Portion size a little small. Would try again but maybe just takeout.

Pad Kee Mao

Great, friendly, quick service. Our waters were never less than half empty. Cute, homey feel inside. The Pad Kee Mao was very unique. It seemed like it was a Pad Kee Mao and Pad Thai fusion given the addition of the egg and creaminess of the sauce. The medium level was the perfect amount of spice to feel it but not overwhelm the other flavors. The tofu is amazing; it almost feels like it's battered. Would come back to try other dishes.

The ambience is nice sat next to window! The service was excellent! The server was so nice and sweet anticipated everything usually we don't really expect much but it was a nice welcome! Just good food and a smile. The food was excellent the Thai next to our home closed so we really miss it and this really hit the spot! Had all the classical dishes and some nice new ones I want to try out next time! She even gave extra rice for our take home for left overs! So kind. Thank you for a nice visit!

No why would I give a five star rating for just takeout? Well because this place made sure I fed seven people very well lol and actually the only reason there wasn't enough food is because everybody loved it so much they wanted seconds lol I had to try the pad Kee Mills, and two orders of the pod time the coconut curry lol. Actually it was the plantain curry that was also under the crowd pleaser was absolutely delicious, but the creamy crab wontons didn't even have a chance to get cold. They were gone so quickly. I had a lot of people to feed and this was a place for me to go. I also recommend eating in the interior is very stylish the seating was very comfortable, I found this out while I waited for my food lol. If you want to feel a lot of people very effectively and very affordable and have delicious tasting food, you can go nowhere else on the Edmonds waterfront.!

Went here this weekend on a whim with friends, we were shopping in the area. This place was nice and the food was tasty. I only got a photo of my food, not my friends. Overall it was tasty.

After another lunch option fell through I found Thai by Day on Yelp and decided to stop by. This place is located near the ferry terminal in Edmonds and is in a plaza next to Top Pot Doughnuts and Epulo Bistro. I ordered the phad thai with chicken ($13) with mild spice. You can choose between mild, medium, and spicy, but the mild didn't taste spicy at all. Also, the main flavor profile was sweet and I'm not a fan of sweet pad thais. It was saucy so it wasn't dry but that's my go-to when trying a new Thai restaurant and I wasn't a fan. I'm sure others like that but it's not for me. They also served shrimp chips as a snack which reminded me of when I was a little kid eating them growing up. Another interesting note is they have bidets in their restrooms. It did its job filling me up for lunch but I was a bit disappointed.

Panang curry - good spice but was a little watery

We highly recommend. The shrimp chips they give at the beginning are delish. We've liked everything here. Multiple times over.

Average. Peanut sauce for fresh rolls had no flavor. Can't remember my husband's dish but that was delicious. Need to be consistent.

Place is okay. Service took forever so we ordered food off the appetizer menu for food to go.

This place is incredible! A great array of Asian flavors, Japanese, Malaysian, Thai, etc. The menu…read moreis varied, but not overly complex. Wonderful service. Beautiful decor, and great prices. It's easy to share small dishes, or just have entrees. I've had the like leaf pork rice noodle dish ($16), Japanese country potato ($7), balloon pancake ($9), dragon eggs ($7), and triple coconut panna cotta. All were delicious and well presented. I highly recommend. Note that they use QR code based ordering on your phone and don't take cash. Free parking in the garage for 90 min.

I can never spell this place's name right....Jesus…read more Came here with friends on a Wednesday because noodles are discounted to $9.99. So, the Asian in us ordered all the expensive noodle dishes. I was a BIG fan of the Garlic Shrimp Noodles (hell, you have shrimp and garlic in a dish - can't go wrong), but the Lime Leaf Pork Rice Noodle fell flat because it was trying to be both a Pad Thai and Pho, and that didn't work out. All the other noods fell somewhere between those 2 dishes. My main feedback for Baguus is to make dishes that are more classic instead of creating a hybrid dish out of the OG ones. I'm thinking of Pad Thai and Beef Chow Fun. We also got the Balloon Pancake which had an amazing curry dip (that I took home and ate over white rice afterwards) and solid chicken wings. For dessert, I will say that the Triple Coconut Panna Cotta and some other dish with kuromitsu (Japanese black sugar) was pretty good, so def save room to try some of their desserts at the end. There's also a beer wall if you feel like partaking. My friends and I were too health conscious to, so we just stared at that wall without dispensing alcohol out of it.

I need to come back here and take some good pictures next time. I ordered the duck and cauliflower…read moredry pot. The duck truly had a smoky flavor like they took it off the bbq grill. I absolutely loved it and will def eat it again. The cauliflower was also good but not quite salty enough for me (American style). I will try the green beans next time.

Fine place to sit and dine. We (2) went for a lunch out,…read morefirst time at this place, ordered cumin lamb (new try) and my fav Kung Pao. Service was good, expect few mins delay as they cook to order, which is great. Lamb was good, it does not come with rice or salad, so plz order an additional side of rice. Kung Pao failed- the sauce used was not good. Me and my husband both had our throats hurting (not because of chilly, trust me on this one), the oil/sauce/chemical gave us minor cuts on our tongue, a chemical lace feel and after taste was menthol like (again not burning feeling of chillies but cuts). The effect stayed for more than 24 hours. Tried water, coke, hot tea through the day to wash it out , got mild fever, had to take Zyrtec and rest. I did not intend to post as the service was kind and timely but the sauce had something in it that was not good. And I have had Kung Pao 100's of time, it's my fav. Request to chef - plz do not use the oil/sauce and try some another brand. They did give us a complimentary cheesecake (TYSM). We paid for lamb and dumplings. Yep, I ended up ordering chicken steamed dumplings which were decent. Will try again in few weeks and update here if my experience gets better.
