Pad Thai, dry, stale, and the chicken was like jerky it so so overcooked it crumbled.

I've ordered here several times the past. Always was great food, but overpriced (are noodles, sauce and a TINY bit of chicken worth $30?). This time it was $78 for two Pad Thais, some curry sauce and some lettuce roles for delivery. It was stale, noodles, dry chicken and gritty something... Absolutely awful. I received a partial refund because the Pad Thai wasn't edible. I absolutely CANNOT go there to pickup because the wait staff is rude and surely. So I end up using Uber Eats but never again. And I have been going there and ordering take out since 2017. DONE!

Really flavorful and textured eats, presented with pride by a wait staff that's confident. My family dined in on Christmas Day. I wish they had set up some portable heaters, or avoided seating us by the constantly opening front door, which let in cold air every time. There were only 2-3 occupied tables, so there were open tables by the kitchen. I would say the food was tasty, but a little out of balance. The Thai iced tea was too sweet; my lemongrass chicken was strongly flavored and needed herbaciousness. That said, all the proteins were cooked right, and well salted (but short of saltiness).

Came here for the first time visiting Seattle with a family member who used to come here frequently. We tried Potstickers, Mango Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai. Potstickers: Came five to an order on a square plate with lettuce garnish and a small amount of soy sauce for dipping. They were OK, but nothing you couldn't also get from HMart. 3/5 Mango Fried Rice: Outstanding, good amount of shrimp in a tasty sauce with egg, mango, peas, carrots, cashews, and a few other things. Big portion, we had leftovers. 5/5 Chicken Pad Thai: Big dish with large chunks of chicken. 4/5 Dining experience: Greeted promptly and sat near the kitchen. Not too noisy. Friendly wait staff. Appetizer was fairly quick. Payment was also quick once done. Huge menu, just be aware entree dishes do not come with rice or noodles, those must be ordered on the side. Parking: Easy in a shared lot near Starbucks and Bartell Drugs. Return: Yes, we would.

Food is good here, I like how my pad kee mao 有鑊氣, like I can taste the wok and flame in it. Even the broccoli absorbed the sauces and tasted so good. The flavorful noodles were soft and glutinous. It was savory with a tiny hint of spiciness, and the basils brought an extra fragrant to the dish. One thing I can think of to complain is that the beef was a bit over cooked and kind of chewy and dry. Other than that, it was a perfect pad kee mao. My partner ordered the pad Thai with extra egg because he's vegetarian and he didn't feel like to have tofu again. Pad Thai was good as we expected. I used to love pad Thai but now they seem a bit sweet to me so I go for pad kee mao/pad see ew/ba me hang. Fried spring rolls were also tasty. It was dense, stuffed with shredded cabbage and carrots, it was a good appetizer and snack. I like how they put some black pepper in the stuffing, it made the spring rolls tasted good even without dipping sauce. The staffs were friendly as well. It was a cute restaurant that I'd come in to enjoy a simple but delicious meal at weekends.

Food is consistently good, as well as service! The place is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Lamb parang, pork belly, and chicken padthai...deliciously scrumptious.

    Yellow Curry

Pad see ew was "ok" according to gf and my yellow curry noodle was abhorrent. Curry consistency was that of saliva and the color was doo doo brown. Ive had yellow curry from several different thai places and its never looked or tasted like it does here. Most disappointing was the chicken. Gf got thin cuts in her pad see ew but i got chicken giblets. Little chicken giblets. Which means... if i wanted to absorb all the protein from my 17.95 dollar meal, i gotta slurp down a bowl full of soggy noodles sitting in spit-adjacent brown goo because the giblets are too small to pick out. Never ordering from here again

My coworkers always order food from here, and I personally never really tried their food besides sampling off theirs (eheheh). Each time I've tried the food, they were reallly goood. But maybe it's because it was food that wasn't mine? LOL. But I finally got a full taste of one of their entrees during one work shift! The location that we go to is located across of Bartell Drugs and next to Starbucks at the back of the Gateway Plaza in Shoreline. There's a huge parking lot with ample parking. I got their Khao Soi with chicken, one of the street food dishes. It was a curry noodle dish which was more of a stew than a soup. But it also wasn't fully a curry. A hybrid of the two. The portions were HUGE. Sooo much food in the one plate. And the price wasn't too bad at all! The food was good! There was a lot of vegetables and protein that I thought there wasn't enough of the noodles LOL. Something that doesn't bother me as the curry helped supplement as the "base" with the noodles. It was a tad watery and the flavor was lacking a bit but overall great for the price and portions! I've tried many other things such as their Pad Thai, Ocean Pot, and Thai Basil Beef Salad from my coworkers, and they were all delicious! Especially the Ocean Pot. Super unique and almost like a seafood bake but not really. I definitely would be getting this next time! The restaurant has a VERY extensive menu and could get very overwhelming with all the different choices. The food is pretty good with HUGE portions that could be two meals rather than just one. Definitely would love to try their other dishes!

Rama tofu with brown rice and pad Thai. So good!
    Teresita C.

Came on a Saturday after discovering that the restaurant is in this strip mall, hidden around the corner next to Starbucks. The friend I was meeting had been coming for years and she knew just what to order. I order the Rama combo with tofu, which does not ordinarily come with tofu but with chicken. They kindly agreed to make the substitute, because it wasn't very busy at the hour we were here. The combo came with brown rice, Pad Thai, and tofu Rama. The peanut sauce was terrific and the portions were great. It was a wonderful meal that also came with a little cup of soup, a few veggies and bits of tofu but vegetarians beware, it does have chicken. Service was friendly and competent and the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere.

Rice noodles with broccoli and peanut sauce. Had it with fried tofu!

Prices are reasonable- especially for the portion sizes - about $14-18 per burrito. The food took about 15 minutes to come out, and the crispy chicken was hot and crispy! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I tried a bite of the flaming boar, and the meat was pretty sweet, so take a note of that. The lighting was kind of dark, and the decor was very modern. All the staff were super nice. There are bathrooms in the very back, and they're pretty spacious, but you do have to go down a long-ish walk to get to them. We weren't sure what to expect since Chops advertises itself as Asian fusion. Our first impression wasn't great. The restaurant felt very bare and a bit cold, and ordering is entirely through a self-service kiosk. The biggest issue was the menu--many items had no photos or descriptions, so unless you already know what they are, it's a bit of a guessing game. If customers are expected to order from a kiosk, every item should have a picture and a brief description. I ended up playing it safe and ordering the chicken katsu because it was something I recognized. It also seemed like the only option for water was to purchase bottled water. That said...the food completely changed our opinion. The chicken katsu was a tad dry, but! It waa crispy, crunchy, and tasty. The sauces were a nice touch (on the side), the rice was perfectly prepared, and everything tasted fresh. We were genuinely surprised by how good it was. We had originally planned to eat here just to hold us over before going back to the sushi restaurant, but after finishing our meal, we were completely satisfied and didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. Overall, the food exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely recommend improving the kiosk experience with better photos and descriptions, but based on the quality of the food alone, we'd absolutely come back. Clean establishment and the guy tidying up the place was friendly.

We went with the combo chicken rice so we could try both the poached and crispy chicken. The poached chicken was probably my favorite. It was super tender and juicy and went perfectly with the rice. The crispy chicken was completely different but just as good in its own way. Nice crunch on the outside while still having plenty of flavor. The rice deserves its own mention too. It might look simple at first, but it has way more flavor than regular white rice and works perfectly with the chicken. Once you start mixing in the different sauces, that's when everything really comes together. I kept switching between the sauces because each one gave the chicken a completely different flavor. I also really liked having the broth on the side. It's such a simple addition, but having something warm to sip between bites made the whole meal feel more complete. Service was quick and straightforward. We didn't have to wait very long for our food, and everyone was friendly when we needed something. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but it has a casual and comfortable atmosphere that works perfectly for this type of food. I honestly didn't expect chicken and rice to be this satisfying. It's simple food done really well, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. By the end I was completely full but still wanted a few more bites of the rice with the sauce lol. Definitely coming back. Next time I might just get the classic chicken rice, but the combo is perfect for your first visit if you want to try both styles.

There was plenty of sauce on the noodles, not just on top, but underneath as well. I loved that. Just mix it well and dig in. The only drawback for me was that the sauce was a bit mild, I prefer a saltier, more savory flavor. The sweet and sour pork was good.
