Who needs to travel to Ha Noi or Sai Gon to eat authentic Vietnamese food when VinaMeals, located…read morejust a little bit outside the downtown Littleton area, can offer you authentic Vietnamese food items for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus, you don't have to pack your suitcase. I, myself, haven't been back in a while, but I can tell you my wonton soup, the one I always order when I eat here, still taste the same. The broth was deliciously made, and the chopped green onions enhanced the flavor to this broth. The 5-6 wontons, which held the main meats of ground pork and minced shrimp, were perfectly seasoned. With each bite, I want to bite more of the meat and slurp the broth. Be careful though: the broth can be steamed hot. Make sure to check both the broth and the wonton before you put them into your mouth or else the soup will burn you. You've been warned. For my main entrée, I ordered bánh xèo, which is Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and pork. One bite of this, wrapped in fresh lettuce, mint, basil, cucumber, pickled carrot and radish, and your taste buds will explode! You can even taste the coconut in the crepe/batter along with bean sprouts and green onions. Hint: if you ordered this item and do not taste the coconut milk from the crepe, you are not eating an authentic bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepe). I did also have their homemade recipe of the Fizzy strawberry drink. A very refreshing, tangy and tart drink that was simply delicious with pieces of purée strawberry at the bottom of the jar/glass. Service was fast and the ambiance was very nice. I would gladly go back again and try another dish from their extensive menu.

I must say... it deserves it's recognition. The Banh Mi here is excellent! I got to try the LEMONGRASS GRILLED PORK. The pork is well marinated with a slightly sweet taste. There is a good amount of meat inside. It typically comes with cilantro & jalapeños inside which you can always opt out. But I feel like the sauces & veggies inside paired so well together. The bread is super crunchy that you will be in a bread crumb mess afterwards. But, it's all worth it because it tastes great. My friends all loved it here. For a traditional Banh Mi experience, I would totally recommend this spot. Ordering is super easy. There is a machine in which you can order & pay through there or go straight up to the counter. The food will be ready fairly quick so you can be in & out within a few minutes. And there is a parking out front. So, there is no reason not to try this place.

The Banh Mi Sandwich is perfectly crafted. Delicious French bread, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Banh Mi Station sits close to the DU campus. Inside, there are a few tables and cafe-like chairs. You can order from a person or order on the automated machine. Service was great and our food came out in record time. They have more to offer than just sandwiches as well. Rice and noodle bowls are also in the menu. This will soon become a most frequented spot for me! Well done, Banh Mi Station.

The standout for me was the taro fries. I absolutely loved them. They were crispy, flavorful, and something I'd order again. They were also surprisingly good as leftovers the next day, which isn't something you can say about most fries. If you're getting takeout and won't be eating right away, these still hold up really well. Overall, ZOMO is a great spot if you're looking for generous options, flexible portion sizes, and some unique menu items. The taro fries alone are worth the visit.

They give you the entier collar! I also liked the yaki ika which was very tasty, not rubbery at all. They have a lot of ramen on the menu which was a crowd pleaser for our group. Their edamame is also very spicy and quite good -- not your typical simply salted edamame. One thing I wouldn't order - the kimchi fried rice. Naturally, when we came across Makizushico, we knew we needed to give it a try. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and our server was incredibly kind. I will note that this place was BUSY. There was quite a wait, and we were fortunate enough to snag a seat, so I would definitely keep that in mind when planning a visit. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll, Tuna Roll, and Rock N Roll. Spicy Tuna Roll (6/10) - While the flavor was delicious and the presentation was beautiful, it still wasn't quite the spicy tuna roll we've been searching for. I enjoy a spicy tuna roll that really carries some heat alongside the flavor, and this one leaned a bit more toward the subtle side for my preference. Rock N Roll (5/10) - The ingredients were fresh, which I appreciated, but I found myself wanting quite a bit more flavor from this roll. It wasn't necessarily bad, just not something that stood out to me. Tuna Roll (8/10) - A good take on a classic tuna roll. The fish was fresh, and the overall execution was good. Nothing overly complicated, but certainly enjoyable. Overall, the quality of the ingredients was evident, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. While we are still on our quest for the perfect spicy tuna roll, I wouldn't mind returning and exploring a few other options.
