Thai Glass Noodle Soup
Megan H.

New menu item ordered: Thai glass noodle soup with shrimp. It was sooo good! I have had a hard time finding pho I love in Denver, but this is one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

Spring rolls as an appetizer.

Don't be put off by the hole in the wall exterior, the food is outstanding. We each had a curry - I the vegan jungle curry. Perfect amount of spice and very tasty. Place was empty at mid afternoon so service was great

Great vegan and vegetarian options! I love the choices and optional add ons, the corn rolls are my favorite.

Exceptional Thai food with wonderful service! Thai is my favorite cuisine, and this place is…read moreremarkable. Why? Let's start with the context. We're a party of four: my partner & myself are visiting Denver & my in-laws, who live here. We enjoy spicy seasoning, whereas my in-laws prefer mild to medium. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which we shared. First, the atmosphere is cosy. It's small and welcoming, with personal touches throughout the restaurant that make it feel authentic (it is!) Second, the menu has it all - from all the traditional classics to a wide variety of dishes from Northern Thailand that were new to me - and absolutely delicious! So many Thai restaurants offer the same, standard dishes with nothing new. Not here! We had it all - which leads me to: Third, the food was outstanding! The restaurant is aptly named, as the flavors of each dish were distinct & oh-so tasty, crunchy & fresh. From the truly remarkable Miang Khum (I'm going to try to replicate this at home) to the Kow Pad, Larb Gai, Tom Yum Goong & Panang Curry - each was flavorful & delicious. Oh - I almost forgot the special "Yum Salmon Northern Salad", which was served with sticky rice. Divine! So too was the mango & sticky rice, which I couldn't resist - despite being full to the brim (yep - I brought it home and had it for breakfast, which I highly recommend!) Lastly, the service was warm & attentive. They anticipated our needs from beginning to end, starting with the table. My mother in law was in a wheelchair, and they whisked away the extra chair and settled us in a most welcoming way. When ordering, they were patient and helpful as we asked multiple questions and ordered a few things at a time over an extended period of time. One had the feeling that they really cared about our dining experience!

We saw this place while thrifting and thought we would give it a try. Ordered in personread more

I forgot to take a photo of my Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup) because once I took a bite I…read morecouldn't put my spoon down. Hey Bangkok! created the perfect blend for this soup. The mix of spice and lime elevated the coconut broth. I like that I was able to choose the spice level. The Tom Kha was served as a soup only which I was able to finish on my own. This could easily be a shareable dish if served with rice or if looking to kick up the comfort-food level a notch. Hey Bangkok! is clean, with plenty of seating, and the employees were kind and friendly. They checked on me several times to ensure I was comfortable and had all I needed to enjoy my meal. I would love to come back to try their other dishes when I'm in the neighborhood.

Our server pay attention to details & gave very prompt service. My boyfriend eat Thai hot & he compliment that they actually cook Thai hot for his pad krapow & he absolutely enjoy his dish. I ordered chicken & rice and I think it is very good portion for $ & very tasty as well. I deducted one star because I wishes they have more seasonal menu rotation, so I can try something new when I come visit here. The menu is pretty limited in my view. I want Pork congee or Khao khuk kapi in the rotation menu. Our go to spot when we visited Denver Botanical garden :)

Pretty bad delivery meal. With food costs so high it's always extra sad to order from some place…read morethat isn't nice quality food. Chicken, chewy and mushy and not normal meat texture AT ALL. If they're "velveting" it, it's excessive and gross. Chicken Fried rice was okay. But so bland and mushy and wet. Also had the weird chicken in it. Peanut curry lunch. Tasted just like like peanut sauce covering everything. They forgot my egg roll so can't speak on those. The curry had a lot of the mushy chicken and almost no veggies. One broccoli, 3 large chunks of mostly raw red pepper. No peanuts. A few snow peas. Pad Thai. Not good. Weirdest and close to worst pad Thai I've ever had. It had a grainy texture to the sauce and was really thick and really bland but sweet all at once. Just a container of red mush noodles and red mush chicken. Why? I really can't understand what is happening. Is this like premade canned or frozen and super cheap so they're selling it? Pad Thai at better Thai restaurants isn't super hard to make and is much nicer. I am just super confused by it. It really reminded me of Thai cup of noodle microwave ramen-like food I've tried at Asian grocery stores. The gyoza were okay. A little harder and drier than we would have preferred and not crispy by their arrival. I could never order here again because we tried such a broad array and its quality was just horrible over all. Even the rice was mushy and very clearly not high quality jasmine rice. Nothing seemed Thai-like at all. Nothing was fresh, light, savory, or vibrant, all things I associate with food thai food. I'm sure with a few pivotal changes they could perk up the menu.

Did an Uber Eats order from here of beef pad Thai and it was really yummy! Food arrived nice and…read morewarm and with a pretty generous portion! Beef was sweet and tender, noodles and egg and sauce were very tasty. I prefer mine with a little bit more lime, but that's probably just personal preference. Would order again!
