Sometimes Yelp leads you to great places and other times leads you to dumps. Unfortunately this time I was directed to a newer Vietnamese restaurant in our area that we were excited to try out. Was greeted for our take out order by a gentleman who couldn't be bothered to lift his ass out of a bar seat. Once at the register, was notified by a piece of paper that take out orders would be charged an additional $.50 per item. Since this is a deceptive marketing practice suggested that this needs to be disclosed to customers online and on phone with a response of "huh-huh"?! Ok, obviously been a hard day in this restaurant and immediately understood their attitude when I opened our orders first box. This place has been able to take out all the spice, vibrancy, and color that we desire from Vietnamese food. If you could possibly collect all the non- desirable aspects of food in general, this place was able to assemble it in our order. Pad Thai bland, crab rangoon over fried, and pho a pathetic representation of a great dish.

We came here a few nights ago and met up with some friends. The weather was rainy and cool so it was a perfect night for pho. This was our first time here and we were instantly greeted when we came in. The first thing you notice when you come in is the entire restaurant is clean and bright but also cozy in the evenings. We (my partner and I) started our order with a couple of beers and shared a plate of crab cheese wantons. Now, I've had my fair share of crab cheese wantons in the Denver/Littleton area, and sometimes it is hit or miss, but THIS PLACE fried them to perfection. They weren't burnt and they weren't soggy, they were literally one of the best wantons I've ever eaten and you could tell they were fresh and made to order. We then ordered two medium veggie and tofu pho with veggie broth and they were equally phenomenal. There was a nice variety of veggies and the hoisin added the perfect amount of sweetness and a little saltiness to the already great broth. The noodles were also a great consistency. The waiter that brought our food was also so kind and he had us laughing with a couple of jokes which is a nice touch, honestly. Both him and our waitress were very kind and they made us feel welcome the whole time we were there. We will be back and will be ordering out as well in the near future!

    Bugs in food

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not support this business and the scum of who the owner is. We ordered takeout for our first meals from this place and were looking forward to it. It traveled home sealed and unopened. When we opened our food, we saw a bug appear, and it definitely came from the food, not anywhere else, as it was sealed until that moment. So, we were disgusted and threw the food away. When we called about it to let them know, we wanted a replacement and they offered a refund. Under the impression we could get replacements, like a reasonable thing to do, we revisited the restaurant and they told us we are not getting replacements and never going to be served at this restaurant again, according to the owner. This is completely unacceptable customer service and poor business practice. We have never experienced this treatment in food service before and genuinely wanted to support the business despite the issue. We were not upset until we were refused service by the owner. The people who run this place need to own to their mistakes, learn how to treat the people that they serve right, and how to make things right. It's unbelievable that this even happened, but I guess when you own your own business, you can do whatever you want, right? Which means disappointing people who want to put money in your pocket, but being an asshole instead.

Best pho I have had in a long time. This place really surprised me!! The rare steak pho was amazing, and the papaya smoothie is SO GOOD. I'll probably be back again for lunch later this week, I think I've found my new favorite spot. 10/10 would recommend.

We always have fast and friendly service here with delicious food to top it off! It's not too crowded and you can walk right in and sit down. Large portions so I can have more the next day!

A little pricy but really great vermicelli! The Pho is delicious too, but the chicken tends to be a little dry.

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. My head is moving from side to side, and my feet are tapping. I found my happiness here even though we leapt/spring one hour ahead earlier today.

I ordered the heart attack roll, it came out 20 minutes after everything else to the point we thought it had been forgotten. It is important to note this is advertised as an "appetizer roll". We had already finished everything by the time it came out. It was very bland. Our server forgot 2 separate items we asked for, even after we asked again. We were the only ones in there - how could you forget? I also ordered the vegetarian fried rice, but it had chicken in it. The rice was clearly old. The soy sauce on the table was empty. They were nice, though. Everything was clean. Miso soup was good. Sweet and sour soup was good. But everything else was inedible and abysmal. Surprised by the really good reviews, but overall just terrible. Will not be back. Will not recommend.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.
